Description of Work: We had MZ Electric do some work on our rental house. Initially the work looked good, but upon inspection by xcel energy we discovered the work didn't meet xcel's requirements. MZ Electric came back to fix the work. But, again, what they did didn't meet xcel's requirements. There has been no follow up from MZ electric. It has been months since the original work was done and we're still stuck with a mast that xcel won't service. If you hire MZ Electric, make sure you do your homework because it seems they won't.

Description of Work: They do any and all electrical work on my primary residence as well as my rental properties. Most recently, they replaced a wire. I would give them an A+ if I could.

Description of Work: They fixed a three-way light switch (two of them) that controlled one outlet in our living room. The guy they sent was great and was finished in 15 minutes (something I couldn't figure out in many, many hours...). I had initially disconnected the wiring to replace to outlet, but didn't mark them at the time... I would definitely use them again. Thank you MZ!

Description of Work: We had a circuit breaker that wouldn't re-set. The electrician discovered that the circuit had been poorly wired. He told us how he could fix it, checked with the boss, gave us a fair estimate, and did the work. It didn't go as easily as he had hoped, but the price remained the same. He changed what could have been an unsafe situation-- unknown to us--and made it safe. Thank you!

They would give me a potential service time via email, but by the time I responded, that service time was already taken by someone else and their potential dates kept getting pushed further and further out. They were pleasant and responsive, but their schedule did not fit my needs.

She even told me how to go about getting a refund of my big deal purchase. If I needed an electrician again, I would for sure give them a chance to bid for the work.

Description of Work: I would absolutely recomend MZ Electic to anybody who is looking for a good electrician. The technician, Kevin, who came out to our house, was prompt, friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. Their fees were fair, and I was made aware of them upfront!

Description of Work: originally I just had a coupon for a home electrical inspection. The house is over 30 years old and I was getting nervous about the condition of the electrical wires or whatever since I have lived here 27 of those years and never did any electrical repairs. He honored the Angies list coupon and gave me an estimate of what it would cost to bring the house up to code plus a few other safety features. I had recieved an estimate from another company earlier. His prices were hundreds of dollars less and he gave me a very thorough and detailed list of what I needed. The 2 workmen were on time(to the minute!) finished within a few hours and cleaned up behind them. I even asked them to put in an outside outlet so I could better plug in Christmas lights. They did it without a fuss.I felt I got a great price for excellent work and would would use them and reccomend them to anyone.

Description of Work: Outstanding service from start to finish. We are renovating our kitchen and the granite countertop was completed earlier than expected and would be installed within a week. Therefore, we needed all the electrical work completed within the next few days. I called Keith and he re-arranged his schedule and was able to to send a very experienced, professional Electrician two days later. The Electrician was on time, extremely professional and very courteous. His work was exceptional and we are very pleased with the service and I would highly recommend MZ Electric again. Description of Work: I had a service upgrade, meaning that my old breakers and 200 amp breaker panel was replaced with a new one. I talked with three electricians and got three bids. Keith was punctual, professional and knowledgeable, and his bid was well-priced. The work was done on time, and the city inspector commented that the work was well done. I'd definitely use MZ Electric again. Nice job.

Description of Work: MZ Electric called very quickly to set up an appointment for the estimate and service. They arrived exactly on time, diagnosed my electrical problem quickly, and did the agreed-upon work for the extimate they gave me. I was very satisfied!

Description of Work: 30-year-old breaker panel box and meter box replaced. New copper ground wires installed. Whole-house surge protector installed. Every outlet, light switch, appliance connection checked and mapped. $135 was for the VERY expensive Aurora permit. The only minor concern was from the Xcel Energy guy who added a bit more slack to the grounding wires. The workmen were clean-cut and well-spoken. They cleaned up after themselves thoroughly. We have gladly referred them to family and will use them in the future when needed.

Description of Work: We tried to replace the GFCI but it was too complicated for us. So we had open wires. This was on Sunday. I called MZ Electric on Monday and they were able to get over to my house right away and fix the problem at a very reasonable cost. Great job! I would definitely use them again.
