Service was fantastic. They provided a quote via email once I provided pictures of the installation area. They were able to schedule the service for the very next morning. The electrician showed up in the provided window and was very professional. Installation was flawless and he did a great job of cleaning up after the installation. Will totally use them again for any future work I would have.

The work was great. I think they are a little bit pricey, but not that much considering how much better everything is; my basement lighting was a disaster before and it's much better now.

Let me guess, you hate the cost of an electrician to come out to your home and they are rarely very personable? I have the solution for you... I had an electrical issue and called to have MZ Electric to come out and look at it. When Phil and Brian arrived on time, they noticed it was a very minor issue and fixed it in about 5 minutes. They both offered, for the initial trip charge, is there anything else we can address for you....rather than just leaving and taking the 5 minute work and trip charge. I did have a small punch list of items which I shared and within an hour they were all fixed and corrected. Wow....they wanted to help me and not take the money and run. Brian and Phil were very professional, patient with explaining to me what the possible problems were and solutions, their work was incredibly clean and very methodical. I was very comfortable with them navigating their way thru my house locating wires, outlets and possible culprits for the problems. I'll highly recommend MZ Electric to family, friends and Angie List customers....Thanks MZ for the great work and professionalism.

They were pretty quick in identifying the problem and solution, and were in and out in under an hour. Kevin and Zach were very friendly and courteous and kept me informed throughout the process of what they were doing and made sure I was ok with what they were doing. I also asked if they could help me with an unrelated issue where anytime my garage fuse would trip, my living room and office would trip as well. They were happy to help with that as well, and resolved that issue also. Would definitely do business with again. Thanks guys!

Problem fixed itself, but I wanted to commend the business because of how quickly they responded, how professional they were, and how polite. They didn't make me feel stupid that I had overlooked something I could do myself if the problem didn't correct itself (which it did). I would recommend them to others based on their methods of first contact and courtesy.

The flickering light bulbs apparently required two technicians (one who was very green). They charged $129.00 for less than ten minutes of work, even though they said the charge for the first hour would be $89.00. I will not use them again, and cannot recommend them.

The professionals at MZ Electric helped our kitchen remodel come together by providing expert electrical services for installing new fixtures, adding a new breaker box, putting power in the new cabinets for a double oven, microwave, and wine cooler, as well as, adding modern accent tape lighting under the cabinets. All of these services were designed and constructed in full compliance with city permitting and code requirements. We would definitely recommend MZ Electric to anyone wanting high quality electrician services, on-time and within budget.

Overall, the work was excellent. The crew was punctual did top quality work and cleaned up after themselves. They even fixed some wiring that was not acceptable quality while they were working. Would hire again in a second.

MZ Electric send a Master Electrician out to advise us on the work we wanted completed. He gave us advice on the best way to complete the various projects and gave us a detailed cost list. Once we decided to use them they completed the work. The electricians were friendly, competent, and very professional. Between the advise and the workmanship the projected was completed on time and there were no surprises.

Great service showed up on time, did the work quickly and well. Knew what they were doing, I know since I have been in remodeling mode for 4 years. They are now my electricians since my old electrician did not show up on Oct 17 and never bothered to call to tell me why after leaving 4 messages. I called MZ from Angie's List and they are now my electricians for all my work and I have recommended them to my friends. The price I paid was for all the labor and 2 new bathroom fans. I had a "buffer" noise problem with one of the fans they came out the day after I discovered the problem fixed it with some new ducting at no charge!!! They also did a nice clean up after they worked left my house clean, wore shoe covers...I have white carpet so I really appreciated that! They were professionals with every aspect of their work.

Very well -- it took two appointments, as I had not initially intended to install 2 lights. The same technician did both. He was very good & got everything in A-OK.

The electricians were very good and knowledgeable. However, I was not informed they started charging when they left their office rather than when they arrived at my house to start the job. When the bill came I got them to take the half hour they weren't there off the bill and paid. About 10 minutes later they came back and told me that is not how things are normally done and they informed me about their billing practices after the fact. I thought it was rude to come back when a phone call or email would have sufficed. During the intake process of a new customer they should have told me how they bill, and I didn't hear about it once in the 3 times I talked to someone on the phone before an appointment.

Keith provided a very detailed quote within 24 hours after spending about 40 minutes at our home reviewing the work I wanted to be done. He noted many non conforming items which I also knew about as a result of a pre purchase inspection of the house. I had another company quote on the job and they provided no detailed breakdown and were 50% more expensive.The team arrived on time and worked steadily the entire day. Everyone was courteous and very professional. The quality of the work was top notch. The work was successfully inspected by the town.I will use MZ Electric for any future work I need and would recommend them with no reservations at all.

The work was performed quickly....always a plus! The electricians listened to my requests, and one immediately started working on the outlet change while the other troubleshooted why our outside outlets weren't working. When the outside outet issue was resolved, the electrician showed me where the affected GFI receptacle outet was and explained how it is affecting other outlets in our house. It was great to know exactly what the issue was instead of being told, and quot;it's fixed,and quot; with no follow-up. The services were completed quickly. Thank you for doing a great job!

The owner completed the first home visit and provided a bid for MZ electrical services. He was honest, very professional, and answered all my questions as I had no idea what was required to bring my house up to code. The crew was prompt, professional. It was a large job and they had a three-man crew in order to complete the entire project in one day. Since my power was out, they ran an extension cord from the light pole to my computer so I could work while they were here. They were pleasant, worked hard, and left everything just like it was before. The scheduler also worked with me and communicated promptly. All in all, a great job. I would hire MZ Electric again and would recommend for others.

It went GREAT. I am very pleased. Keith, Kevin and the crew did a wonderful job. My kitchen and dining room look so good. The men are professional, polite, and efficient. They were very interested in doing a good job and making sure everything was perfect. I was very concerned that I would be able to use incandescent bulbs and LED's as well. So of course the fixtures they installed will do just that. They arrived just exactly when they said they would, went right to work and finished in even less time than they had estimated This is the second job they have done in my home, and again, I am impressed. I will definitely use MZ Electric for any and all electrical jobs in the future

I called Tuesday afternoon and set my appointment for Friday morning. Kevin gave me a courtesy call to let me know he was on his way. I showed him what needed to be done and before I knew it he was finished. Kevin is excellent electrician and has great customer skills. A really nice guy. This is the second time I used MZ Electric and both times did an excellent job.Keep up the great work guys!!!!!!

I had a problem with intermittent power outages in my dining room. Periodically all the outlets would lose power for anywhere from a couple of hours to a couple of days and then come back on. I knew this would be a difficult problem to track down and it was. By trouble-shooting and using the process of elimination, the guys from MZ Electric were able to find the source of the problem and fix it. It took three separate trips out, but I expected this, given the nature of the problem. In the midst of this, a lighting strike also took out power to my outdoor outlet and MZ quickly took care of that as well. I would use these guys again in a heartbeat. I even recommended them to my mother, which I wouldn't do unless I was sure they were terrific.

The 220 outlet had to be moved in preparation for a reconfiguration of the laundry space, and stacking the appliances. Sean was punctual and prompt in completing the task, and left the work area very clean when he left. Sean even offered me the contact info on some drywallers, since I will need that service in the next stages of this laundry room reconfiguration. MZ Electric has been in our home in the past for small jobs like this, and the work of all the electricians is excellent.

MZ Electric did a great job! We just purchased a new home, and our drywaller and painter were completing the project much sooner than anticipated. I spoke with Tara of MZ Electric on a Monday, and she was able to have a crew of 2 electricians at our house that Wednesday and Thursday to install the wiring for all the lights and fans. The electricians both did an amazing job getting the work done, and were very friendly, too. After the ceilings were painted, the same electrical crew returned a week later to install the fans, lights and switches. MZ Electric did an amazing job, and they will definitely be helping us with our next project!!

The guys from MZ Electric were on time, efficient, clean, professional, and courteous. They did exactly what we requested and we were very pleased with the quality of work. We would not hesitate to use them again for future electrical needs and would highly recommend them!

In about 3.5 hours, he identified the problem and fixed it whereas another electrical contractor had tried to troubleshoot and solve the issue in 2 separate visits with no luck.

Kevin and Zach were very easy to work with. Kevin kept me up-to-date on the work as it progressed and was able to work effectively in the minimal attic space. He fixed a hazardous situation of illegal wiring and exposed wires in the attic while working around large duct work and insulation. When I went up to make sure everything was still in place it looked as though no one had even been in the attic. I feel much safer now knowing that the correct wiring is in place and that the exposed wires are now securely housed in a junction box. The best part is now I don't have to have my attics light switch turned on to make the swamp cooler run. Kevin tied the switch directly to our cooler switch in the house.
