I would use these guys again in a second! Talked with Keith, the owner, on Monday. His lead Kevin was here on Tuesday at 10 AM, on the dot, just as promised. Kevin had our 220V/50A four prong plug for a new oven moved down a few inches, so the stove could be slid all the way back to the wall, in less than an hour. I expected it to take more time and more money, so the fact that they were able to come by so quickly, did quality work in a shorter period of time than expected, and for a reasonable price that was about half what I expected to pay made the entire experience much better than expected. On top of that, Keith was extremely pleasant and helpful with scheduling (next day service, fantastic!) and Kevin was extremely pleasant as well, did first class work, even brought in a little vac to clean up the tiny mess from the work, and was very careful helping me move our stove in to place after the plug was moved. Like I said, for any home electrical work we need in the future, I would use MZ Electric again in a heartbeat. Well done gentlemen!

The Good-responsiveness within 2 hours with a two-man crew. The job was completed within 3 hours. The Bad- Crew was about to leave site before resolving the OEM circuit breaker issue. The new OEM breakers (Siemans) resolved the mystery of the shut down by the non OEM breakers (GE). I would ask MZ to come to my house again. They were easy to work with and handled my questions in a professional and agreeable manner. They did solve one of those difficult electrical problems that involved primarily electrical system but also the furnace and air conditioner systems. I had a furnace contractor on site a year earlier that did not resolve this issue. He didn't want to deal with the electrical panel box as he was only a Lennox furnace contractor and wasn't licensed for electrical work.

Job was done to my complete satisfaction. I called last week for an estimate which they gave me over the phone after I described in detail the wok to be performed. They estimated $525 to install the chandelier, as well as the the wall and floor outlet. We set up a schedule for Feb. ist. at 7:00 AM. AT 7:00 am the doorbell rang, and Sean and Kevin were ready to go. Sean tackled the chandelier while Kevin started on the floor outlet. They finished around 8:30am after vacumming up what little dust was created. The new wiring was properly stapled according to code. All outlets and the chandelier are working perfectly. The $525 estimate was what I was Billed, and included the labor, wire, outlet boxes, outlets and brass floor outlet cover. I have some ceiling fan outlets that will need to be repositioned, and I will definately use MZ Electric again. Thanks Sean and Kevin for a great job.

Arrived on time. Did the work. Finished on time.Pleasant and professional.

They provided us good service. The bill did run larger than we expected because the first proposed approach for the repair turned out not to work. I don't know if they were not careful in looking at that approach but I wound up paying a couple hundred dollars extra because they got most of the way through the original approach and it didn't work so they had to take a completely different approach. I hoped that they would have figured that out beforehand but they did give us good quality service. We are satisfied with it but it cost me money that I should not have had to spend. I would use them again but I would want to set parameters that the fix was going to work before they set it in motion. I would use them for future work.

Spoke to Keith Lynn, of MZ Electric. We set up an appointment for him to come to our house to see exactly what needed to be done. He gave us a bid, and that evening also emailed the bid, along with a detailed explanation of the work to be done. He expained it would take most of the day. Keith and two additional men arrived a bit before start time - 7a.m. and were immediately on the job. All 3 men worked very hard throughout the day, worked extremely well with one another and from the get-go, we felt very cofident that we hired a great company. They were all very professional, cordial and very open about clearly explaining any questions I had. They finished the job at approximately 3:30 that afternoon - for a total of 8 1/2 hours work. My wife and I were very confident with these guys from beginning to end. We could not have asked for a nicer, more professional, harder working team. MZ Electric does first-rate work. We already plan on hiring them in the future, to install some motion sensor lighting outside the house. They are absolutely our electrical contractor of choice. Thanks again guys!!

Keith met me promptly on Thursday morning to give me an estimate. I explained what my needs were and he gave me some options on how to accomplish my goal. When we were doing the walk thru, I showed Keith the water that was running in the basement. He was able to show me it was from the humidifier that was attached to the furnace. Being a new homeowner and still trying to figure things outs, he explained how the humidifier worked. My main need was to light up the backyard to keep track of my small dog and I wanted motion detectors to keep wild life out of the yard, plus I wanted a light in the front of the house to turn on when I came home in the dark. Keith went above and beyond to get me an estimate quickly and have the guys do the work by Saturday. Keith, Kevin and Shaun showed up promptly Saturday morning and got to work immediately. Kevin and Shaun were very courteous and clean. They took their shoes off to go upstairs and cleaned up after themselves. It was a great experience. I needed the front flood light adjusted and another outlet moved. Keith was very prompt to take care of my needs. I would definitely recommend him and his crew.

Had an electrical issue. Communicated it to Keith Lynn of MZ Electric.. Set up a convenient time for service. MZ Electric came at the time that was scheduled. Keith communicated the problem with the lighting system and the cost.....did the repairs and was paid. Will definitely use their services again.

It went wonderful. The 2 guys showed up on time and on Labor day. They got right to work and were done by just after lunch. They worked quickly and seemed to know what they were doing. I would use them again for sure.

We were thinking we had some kind of larger electrical problem, but they showed us it was cheap fixtures blowing out (that had been installed by the builder of the house (new construction)). We rescheduled them to come out when we had replacement fixtures. They installed them quickly and well. Couldn't be happier. They explained their rate system ahead of time, were on time, and did great work.

We had been having problems with the lights on our hallway and on our front porch. Sometimes they worked but often they didn't. We suspected some sort of short in the wiring. Kevin Ortiz was the electrician who came from MZ Electric. He spent two hours taking apart and checking a number of outlets in three different rooms, starting with the problem outlet and following the circuit from the downstairs hallway to the front two bedrooms upstairs. Eventually he discovered the loose neutral wire in the receptacle located in the second bedroom and showed me how it was causing problems throughout the circuit. He replaced three damaged outlets, and after determining that everything worked properly, cleaned up his (little) mess and left. Kevin was great; very thorough and professional. He had to move a lot of furniture around in order to reach all of the outlets but carefully put everything back exactly as he found it when he was finished. Many times during the two hours he was here, Kevin took time to explain what he was doing and showed me the damaged wires and outlets as he found them. MZ Electric's charge for labor is extremely reasonable; $80 per hour, but Angie's list members automatically receive a 10% discount so I was only charged $72 per hour. I will definitely use them from now on!

Excellent service from this small company. They arrived promptly, offered good suggestions, were very careful about protecting our floors and furniture from dust and debris, and completed the work satisfactorily.

Keith was among several electrical contractors in the area I had bid on this project. It is a small data center, but houses some very important gear relative to our business. I needed to have the work done as soon as possible. Keith responded to my RFP the same evening, and came on-site the following day to survey what was needed. He was very competent in understanding the needs in my data center, suggested things I had already thought of but hadn't shared with him yet, and I overall got the feeling that he was serious about his work and knew what he was doing. Other companies dragged their feet, took days or weeks to get back to me, or came in with bids far higher quoting unnecessary process fees and the like. On the day of service, Keith's crew showed up promptly, ready to get down to business. They conducted themselves professionally, needed zero supervision from me or my staff, and even went the extra mile to provision the UPS that I had ordered without installation services, at no additional cost! I would highly recommend MZelectric for any of your business electrician needs.

I had three companies provide bids and by far, Keith was the most responsive in initial contact and follow up of the three. He listened to what we needed to have done and then came in with a reasonable bid to do the work. But not only was his bid reasonable, he gave me the quote in a timely fashion, while I had to wait days for the other companies. When I was ready to have the work done, Keith was able to have the work done the following day. And the whole time, he kept in contact with me. Working with MZ Electric was a great experience and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends or use them again for future electrical needs.

Great experience. I emailed Keith from Angie's List and he responded within the hour. I told him the situation - that the property was tenant-occupied and he'd need to coordinate with the tenant since I live out of town and he was fine with that. After some difficulty reaching my tenant, they connected and the problem was identified and corrected in a very reasonable amount of time, and for less $$$ than Keith estimated. Two electricians arrived, had a opening in afternoon, so came out same day called. Went beyond, and even checked roof for damage(or holes from lighting). Very nice, even replaced some outside lights that burned out from storm. I was surprised ! However, that hourly rate was per person.

Great job and the work was performed as promised! I really appreciated that Keith was able to accommodate my schedule on short notice and have some out to perform the work. The electricians were on time, professional and friendly. I am a repeat customer and I intend to use MZ Electric again in the future.

Keith Lynn of MZ Electric did not try to exploit someone in a desperate situation: A tree limb had fallen on the Xcel line and I had consequently been without service for several days. Keith Lynn quoted me a reasonable price for an electric service replacement. Keith did not oversell or attempt to talk me in to buying more amperage than what I actually needed. Kevin and Sean, the MZ employees, worked in an efficient, courteous manner to get the job done in a few hours. Kevin, journeyman electrician, patiently answered every question I had in great detail in terms a layperson could understand. The claims adjuster from Farmers Ins. strongly urged me to go to Angie's list for contractors when he heard about the huge discrepancy in quotes I received from non-Angie's list contractors, i.e. $1500 - $5,000 for the same electric service replacement job. I'm on a tight spending plan and did not want to spend the money but now I can see $13.25 for Angie's list was a sound investment.I would use MZ Electric again.

Problem: Smoke coming out of a motion detector. It was a Sunday evening and we were traveling on Monday, so it was urgent that this get repaired immediately. Sent MZ electric an e-mail on Sunday evening, and Keith called first thing the next morning. He adjusted his schedule to fit us in, before we had to leave for the airport. We have used him before. Had a strange sound coming from the main electrical panel when the A/C was running; affected a couple of outlets upstairs as well with humming appliances/computers. Turns out an A/C repairman had replaced a capacitor but not secured it properly and it was making contact with the metal frame of the A/C unit and causing havoc. Took a little while to diagnose since we have 'issues' with our electrical and specifically the main panel, but he took care of it quickly, secured the capacitor, replaced a fuse and the breaker, gave us estimates on a couple other potential pending projects and was on his way. Friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable.

Keith came out on short notice to fix the sprinkler electrical connection. He offered a great solution to the mess the previous homeowner had left and fixed it quickly. I will definitely use him again for any electrical needs.

Keith, the owner, gave me a written quote in less than a day. The electrician sent to my home was Kevin, an employee of MZ. He was extremely easy to work with. The work went very well with only one glitch. The design of the sconces required that they be installed with "new work" junction boxes rather than remodel boxes since the remodel boxes would not allow the sconces to mount flush to the surface of the wall. When this problem was noticed, Keith and Kevin took appropriate steps to remedy the situation. I very much appreciate the fact that MZ stuck with the project until it was satisfactorily completed and didn't bail or whine when an issue came up. especially in light of how small this project was. MZ was dependable, stood by their work and was honest . Both Keith and Kevin were very easy to deal with and costs were reasonable. I have dealt with other electrical contractors in the past and can say for sure that MZ provided the best and most honest service.

It went very well and they did exactly what was promised for the price that was quoted.
