Came to my house for a bid early in the mornnig and on time. Did not try to oversell me. Explained the differences in detectors, purchased and installed them quickly and efficiently. I would use them again for electrical work, no question.

Sean was prompt and performed the service (checking and replacement of smoke detectors) quickly and professionally. Keith was very helpful and knowledgeable on the phone regarding my problem, which was smoke detector malfunction. I would use them again

We needed electrical services to prepare our home for sale. We had three visits altogether to complete the work. In all instances the owner, Keith, as well as each employee, was honest, prompt, professional, considerate and knowledgable (even when our home alarm mistakenly went off when they visited!) Would absolutely use them again.

They were efficient, did great work, explained everything up front and were easy to work with.

First off, Keith came out within 3 days (weekend in between) to perform a full estimate rather than just give a quote over the phone. In speaking with Keith about each part of the project, he provided ideas and direction to be efficient and mindful of costs. Within 2 days, Keith had sent me an estimate with everything detailed as requested. I accepted the estimate on Thursday and Keith was able to get me on the schedule for the following Tuesday. This was a fantastic start! At 7am on Tuesday, we had a knock on the door and Sean (basically a working jobmanager) introduced himself, polite from the start. We walked through each step of the job and what was to be done. There was no confusion and he began. His team was a few minutes behind him and each introduced themselves, Ryan and Kevin (I apologize if I have the names wrong...) Both were polite and professional. Everyone went about their tasks, asking me questions or my opinion before just doing something. When I was unsure, they provided their feedback. The team finished quickly and I can say they were always polite, considerate and took care of the surroundings with the same respect as I do. They were nice enough to replace a few bulbs which were placed well over normal height (20 ft high). I have found an electrical company that does excellent work, better than competitively priced, and diligent in their work. They cleaned up after and did everything and more they promised. I would not hesitate to recommend thm.

A very professional crew who communicated well on all aspects of the job. The work was done well, with little disturbance to the house. The floors and furniture were protected with plastic drop cloths. No mess left - the rooms were as clean or better when they left than when they arrived. I'd definitely use them again!

I am very pleased by the quality and workmanship that MZ electric provided. They were quick, did everything we needed, and did a complete and professional job.This work required an inspection between different phases of the work so they had to make two visits but they always called ahead of time to let me know when the would be there. Everything was completed as expected and I would definitely use them again.

I called multiple people and received quotas from $175-$350. I was quoted $210.00 over the phone. They were able to come out that same week to do the work. Sean was very clean and quick, he was done in less then an hour. He noticed i had one electrical plug hanging out of the wall. I told him my husband and I had been trying to get it back in the wall and i thought i had finally bought the right parts. ( the last home owner installed wainscoting and didn't do a good job with the outlets this one as lose and warm). Sean replaced the plug since it the wiring wasn't good and place it back in the wall and he didn't charge me. He said it was a gift for the baby. Thank you

We left a message at 8am about needing our doorbell fixed. Keith called back in under an hour. Same day scheduling was great. Shawn showed up promptly at noon. Shawn was professional and knowledgeable. He troubleshot the doorbell system and showed me where the 16v doorbell transformer had shorted on the humidifier ductwork off the furnace. He replaced the transformer, moved it away from the ductwork, and had the doorbell working, all in about 20 minutes. We received a 10% discount on labor by being an Angie's List member. Overall an excellent experience.

Awesome experience! Kevin from MZ Electric was spot on perfect! Showed up on time, got right to work, and installed everything exactly how and where we wanted it to be. He walked through the whole project to make sure I was happy and explained anything extra he needed to do to get our new outlets to work. Even added some sweet bubble covers on the GFCI outlets outside the house so you can keep things plugged in and the elements out! (I guess this is required by law now but still...they are sweet! haha) Also wanted to note that Tara (I think?) at their main office was great in working with us on the schedule and communicating to ensure the date/time worked for us. Considering the fantastic work from Kevin and MZ, we found this to be a great value and will only hire MZ going forward. Would recommend them to anyone. Call them!!!

Kevin and his apprentice Ryan arrived on time and overall did a great job. They were polite, clean, efficient and knowledgeable. Kevin corrected the wiring problem in our ceiling light by adding a junction box in the attic. In addition they offered advice and answered all our questions and to top it off completed a few other minor items. They were a great team and I would recommend them for any electrical work you may have.

I was very pleased with MZ Electric. I contacted four electricians for this project and MZ was the most responsive and their bid was the lowest. Keith came to bid the project within a few days of my contacting him and scheduled the work within a few days after I accepted the bid. Some of the other electricians I contacted said it would be 2 weeks before they could bid the work, and another 2-3 weeks after that to do the work. There were a few tricky aspects to the work that needed to be done and Keith came up with good, cost-effective solutions for all. I had a few follow-up questions, and he responded promptly. The installation crew (Kevin, Ryan and Sean) showed-up on time, were very patient as I worked through some "second thoughts," did a great job on the installation and clean-up. I'm very happy with the end result!

I called the afternoon of Wednesday, and the electrician was at my door the very next day...a half hour early! So, punctual? YES! He worked quickly, and made sure to place drop cloths to keep the work areas clean. Clean-up was very good, and there was minimal disruption to my routine. Also, I want to mention that I got a discount on the surge protector installation because I was having another service performed at the same time. I appreciate that. Next time I need electrical work done in our home, it will be MZ Electric!

Awesome! Everything turned out great and exactly how I had pictured it. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Keith is responsive and flexible - running to home depot to get something when I added a task at the last minute. Workers were prompt, courteous and went to great lengths to keep the work area clean. I especially appreciated the cleanliness. I will be calling them again for sure.

I called Kieth at MZ electric and he was able to work me into their day's schedule and work with my unique situation. His flexibility and professionalism was much appreciated. I would definitely consider using them again for future services.

We received a phone call back within four hours and service was scheduled that day. Our request was two fold - address the issue identified by the fire department who responded to our 911 call for smoke/haze and to install new electrical outlets in the floor of a home office. The most critical item was the one we needed to be resolved first as the fire department had shut down power to the bedroom due to either wiring of a fan or a burned out fan motor. Sean inspected the wiring at the switch and where the fan attached to the ceiling as well as crawled into the attic to determine if the wiring was sound (it was). The solution was to replace the fan due to a burned out motor which was completed quickly. Sean was friendly, openly discussed what he would do and what he saw, and he completed the work professionally and and timely as well as cleaning up the areas. We are now waiting for the estimate to install new outlets as itis a special request for which parts need to be ordered. This will be more extensive as it involves cutting drywall, running wires, and installing new outlets.

These guys are great! I have unfortunately waited so long that I can't recall names exactly, but I spoke with one gentleman, either Keith or Kevin, who gave me an estimate and had a guy come out as soon as he finished a job he was working on. The guy who came (who was either Keith or Kevin...whichever one I didn't speak to on the phone) was great. I was feeling very ill that day, perhaps the flu, and he quickly went to work in my bedroom so I could take a nap in there. When the work was done, he let me inspect it all. It was all done very well and months later, it's been perfect. No problems at all. I would definitely use these guys again. Top notch.

Keith with MZ Electric was friendly, professional, and responsive throughout the entire scheduling, estimate, and follow-up process. The electrician that was sent to do the work of replacing the old wiring from the house to the garage did great work! My expectations were exceeded by the quality of the work and the clean-up of the old materials. I recommend their services.

Recently had MZ electric come out to perform some substantially installations of recessed lighting in our old house. From the get go, they were more responsive than any other quotes I got. Keith came out almost immediately to work up my quote. He emailed it to me within 24 hours, and scheduled the service very quickly once I gave him the go-ahead. Unfortunately, that was not the case with some other electricians I contacted--including some who have very good reviews here. When they came out, it was like being invaded by the Navy Seals. They arrived early, got the work done quickly, cleaned up and got out fast. What I thought was going to be a 2 day job was completely done in one day. They sent a crew of 4 electricians, who all looked very professional and were very communicative. When they arrived, we walked through the job one last time to make sure there was no miscommunication. I was nervous, because our house is old and has plaster and lath construction in all of the walls and ceilings. It seemed like the recipe for a huge mess with huge destruction to the existing plaster. I was prepared for that, but luckily, that was not true. There were minimal numbers of clean holes cut where they needed to fish wires through, and there was very little dust when they were finished. Everything looks great. I had a few last minute changes that differed from the bid. They dealt with them very quickly and easily and imposed only minimal charges for the additional labor and materials. Luckily, this was the first big electrical job that I've had to have done, but if they're all this easy we may start putting updated lighting in more places. It was really an A+ experience.

We needed to hang a flat-screen tv on our living room wall. I called and spoke with Keith the day prior. Keith was professional and informative. He pointed out a number of things that we had not considered that needed to be worked out. Without pressure he presented a number of different options and explained their benefit versus price. He provided a reasonable and accurate estimate. When we had initially spoken Keith hadn't had any appointments in my area during the timeframe I needed (less than a week). I had been disappointed. Keith called me back within 10 minutes and scheduled an appointment with me for the next morning. Sean the electrician arrived for the appointment on time. He spent a few minutes talking to us about what we wanted and then immediately went to work - not wasting any time. He was responsive to our questions and concerns throughout - adjusting his plan based on our expressed needs. He helped us install the mounting and hang the TV - conscientiously ensuring that it was centered on the wall and level. He installed the new outlet and the pull-through for cables (HDMI etc.) where they were completely obscured by the TV. He made no damage to the drywall and didn't even mark up the wall. He completely cleaned the area afterwards and even helped us reconnect everything and set up our cable. When Sean was done our TV was completely installed and working - it looked like it always meant to be there. He was knowledgeable, polite and even patient with our 3 small children. I am extremely happy with the service Keith, Sean and MZ Electric provided and would use them again.

Contacted company on a Thursday and they were able to provide services by the following Monday. They arrived on time and performed all services in a timely manner. Great communication, and fast quality services provided.

Our son, who lives in Denver and worked directly with Keith wrote "Keith was responsive and flexible in setting up the work. Kevin and Sean were on time, worked well with our building manager to minimize inconvenience to other residents of the building and the job was done in one day as planned and at the price quoted. He also recommended a provider to repair and/or replace drywall to prep the apartment for painting who also provided high quality (timely, courteous and professional) service at a fair price." I have seen photos of the finished work; once we move to Denver we will continue to call on MZ Electric for any other electrical work we may need in the future.

The entire project went excellently.

They were very personable, and did a great job. They explained the work, why they did what they did and helped with coordination of the inspection.
