MZ Electric

From the initial call to the Company to the completion of the job was a positive textbook experience of what the word SERVICE really means. Thank you Keith for a no surprise experiense of doing everything we discussed in such a professional manner. I will be using MZ Electric in the near future. They are GREAT!

Kevin arrived during the 2-hour window I had been given and immediately went t o work. He explained everything that he was doing and showed me what was wrong with the outlet that had quit working. A couple of the light switches had gone bad; he ran out to the hardware store to get a replacement when he didn't have one of the same color that we had on his truck, and even picked up a replacement fluorescent bulb for the kitchen light while he was there. We had asked to get an estimate to put a 240 line in the garage so my husband can hook up his air compressor; Kevin inspected our existing electrical panel to see if there was a way to avoid having to install a subpanel, but unfortunately, there wasn't. He took pictures of the panel and took measurements outside as they will have to run a line from the back of the house around to the side where the garage is. He explained that someone in the office (Keith) would contact me with a bid once he gave him the information. Kevin was great; he was efficient, professional, and knowledgeable.

MZ Electric is an excellent company. From the bid process all the way through to completion, Keith and his crew did a great job. On his initial visit when he provided a bid, Keith was thorough and detailed inspecting the setup to ensure that there wouldn't be any surprises, complications, or additional cost later on. He followed up with a phone call to ensure that we had received the email bid. It became clear very quickly that this would be the company we were going to choose. The work was scheduled for 7AM on Thursday and Keith showed up early and ready to go. He and his crew began work right away and completed the job on time and as scheduled (4pm). At the completion of the work, they made sure to clean up the site. All in all, a good experience.

They did a good job for a good price, were polite, timely and did exactly what they said they would do.

Owner came to house to get scope of job and was very helpful and informative during his visit. Timely bid was given via email and scheduling was easy to set up. Crew arrived on time at 7am and got to work. Very professional from the get go. The crew took every measure to ensure that our lights and fans were positioned as we wanted - they took extra time in doing this as we had some tricky framing in place that we were unaware of. The crew work diligently all day. We are very happy with the service provided and would DEFINITELY recommend them to anyone needing an electrician!

They showed up when they said they would 7:00 AM. The service panel change out took approximately 7 hours. The pigtailing of the aluminum to copper switches and outlets took approximately 3 hours. The above work was completed on a Friday. The three new circuits and junction boxes in the attic took approximately 5 hours. This was on the following Monday morning again, 7:00 AM. Keith the owner and his electricians Shaun and Kevin were very professional and competent in what they were doing and answered any questions that I had on work being performed. Kevin found some other things in the attic that needed repairs and took care of them for a small charge, worth every cent to make the incorrectly wired aluminum splices safe in the attic. Kevin showed me what these other problems were before performing this extra work. I felt very confident with the work they did and was very pleased with the results. They were the lowest bid of three bids I received. I would highly recommend MZ Electric for any electrical work.

the company was on angies list with good reviews. I called them and they responded and sent out a man to give me an estimate and then sent me a quote via e-mail. We made an appointment and two eledtricians arrived at 8:30 as planned. I had ordered Lights and fan through the mail and they put the fixtures together , ran wirering, and installed the lighting and fan. They covered all my furniture and floors with plastic and vacumed after they were done. Both men were extremely polite, answered all my questions and I was very pleased with their service. They were out of my home at 12:00pm.

Kevin arrived right on time and was a pleasure to work with. I had asked for one receptacle to be put in but my husband wanted to add another one- no probem! Kevin took off his shoes and cleaned up his mess.......perfect kind of contractor in my mind!

MZ Electric was prompt in replying to our request for quote in Angie's List. The owner arrived and reviewed the work to be done, he offered suggestions and then provided a competitive quote. Although we did not select MZ Electric as our electrical contractor, the promptness and courtesy displayed were clearly indicative of an efficient electrical contractor. We will certainly consider MZ Electric for future electrical needs.

We needed to install an attic fan. After assessing the attic, they determined the desired location wouldn't work because of the placement of beams. Instead of saying they couldn't do the work, they spent time moving items in our attic to find an area that would work. They were quite knowledgeable in determining the correct size of fan to cool our large home. Kevin and his staff were friendly and great to work with, even with a tough install.

When I contacted MZ Electric with my small but annoying problem, they were able to promptly schedule a servce call. The electrician arrived ontime (even though we had recieved a reasonable snowfall the night before). Within the hour the problem was found and corrected. I would use them again if I have a the need.

Kevin showed up at the appointed time and proceeded to diagnose my electrical problem. Within about 10-15 minutes, he had determined the problem was a bad switch box. I decided to replace the existing light fixture at the same time, since I had bought one I liked better. Excellent work. Responsible courteous worker.

I am very pleased with the work done by MZ Electric, The problem was we had no power to the microwave. Sean arrived at the appointed time, quickly determined that the wiring to the microwave had short-circuited. Sean made the repair and the microwave is now operational.

The service provided by Kevin was sensational. Another technician helped as well, but I cannot remember what his name was. The two gentlemen finished the project two hours early. One of the techs drilled through the wall while installing the exterior outlet and poked through the interior wall. He pointed out what had happened and fixed the issue in less than five minutes. He also spackled and repainted the area that was affected. My girlfriend can't even tell where it happened! Would I recommend MZ to my friends? H*** yeah!

This was a very pleasant experience. The electrician showed up on time, was very courteous and helpful, answered all of our questions, and did his work quickly and professionally. While here, I asked for an estimate for other work, which has been provided in a timely manner. I plan on using MZ Electric in the future for other electrical work.

I have yet to start the full renovation.

Originally ordered an inspection as some of our lights were not working. Company went ahead and applied the money we paid toward our project and stated we did not need an inspection. They saved us lots of money. Rewired a three-way light that was not working, repaired two outlets. Love the company so much that we are having a quite put in for our canned lights to be installed in the kitche

These guys were great- personable, good quality work, efficient, on time, took pride in what they do. Would not hesitate to recommend them.

I'd initially contacted Keith a couple months earlier for an estimate to complete unfinished electrical work on my modest kitchen upgrade. When I decided to proceed with the work, he honored the estimate and very promptly scheduled the work. His team was prompt and professional. I plan to use MZ Electric for additional electrical work in my home.

These guys were amazing. Keith and his electrician Shane were incredibly responsive and personable, despite a busy schedule. They explained the issue in detail and resolved it quickly. Highly recommended!

(1) Keith of MZ Electric called back same day, asked for pictures in advance and gave his impression of what was required over phone based upon photos e-mailed to him. (2) Keith then came to our home for detailed evaluation. (3) Keith then followed up with a phone call to review options with pros and cons of each option allowing me to select an option that best suited our needs. (4) Keith then e-mailed an estimate, which I accepted via e-mail and we then scheduled a service appointment via e-mail. (5) Kevin of MZ Electric came on site at the scheduled time and performed the work. Kevin was extremely prompt, courteous, professional and knowledgeable. Kevin took the appropriate time to insure I understood exactly how to operate the generator and electrical panel to power our home and tested the entire procedure with me and then provided written instructions on the proper procedure. I was extremely satisfied with the service provided by Keith and Kevin of MZ Electric and will certainly use them again in the future and recommend them to my friends. This was my first use of Angie's List and am very satisfied with the experience thus far.

Called back quickly...arrived promptly. Estimate for time was accurate. They were personable and professional. Will definitely use them again when ready for the next project!

Just one guy came and ran through our whole list of questions and items that needed addressing. He worked his way through the list without taking a single break all day!
