MZ Electric

We hired MZ Electric for some minor house repairs a few weeks ago. We were very happy with the service that we decided to get a quote from them to replace our service panel in order to have AC installed and also to make it solar ready. The quote came in quickly and very reasonable. Keith took the time to answer all of my questions and made me very comfortable with everything his team would be doing. The team arrived on time and was very thorough. They took the time to show us everything that they did and we are very happy with the work and will use them again.

Everything went well, workers on time, explained everything.

Can't say enough about how expert and responsive they were. Would hire them again without hesitation.

Service was purchased through The Big Deal offer. After purchasing the offer, MZ Electric actually contacted me to schedule service. The person who performed the work was punctual, polite, and professional. Reviewed the work to be performed and did an excellent job. It took a little longer than originally thought, but it wasn't the worker's fault. Sometimes you run into some unexpected issues. He cleaned prior to leaving and overall, a very positive experience.

When we moved into our house, the electric wiring was badly done and we were constantly losing electiricity. We checked Angies List and called MZ Electric based on reviews. We called to say what we wanted done, and they came when scheduled and did the work in a few hours. The work was expertly done, and they clearly knew exactly how to handle the problems we described. They were very courteous and helpful. The result was even better than we had hoped. No more outages or flickers! They even gave us a discount for telling them we found them on Angies List! We would definitely use them again, and would certainly recommend them to anyone.

Keith is a great business man. I have used his company 3-4 times and will continue. Keith and Kevin have always showed up on time, finish in a timely manner and have been very professional. They have been very kind about giving other electrical advice when asked. I appreciate the company's business model and work ethic.

This project could not have gone any smoother. From Tara taking information on the project over the phone to Keith actually doing the electrical work. I was concerned that I might have some drywall repair in the front entry where the exterior light was wired but Keith went thru the attic to do all the wiring so I came home to NO damaged walls! This job would have been more expensive but I purchased their Big Deal prior to the work being performed. I am a very happy customer!

They did some pretty basic things for me, which is why I haven't rated them an A. I don't feel like I've tested them fully yet. But I will definitely have them back for other work. They got everything done in a timely manner.

The work turned out fantastic. They were professional and friendly. They took their shoes off at the door. They did the list that needed to be done before the inspection and made sure it was all finished.

Excellent. Keith (owner) came over when my wife was home alone to provide an estimate. We had 5 total estimates. My wife personally liked him the best and a businessman and a person. They also coincidentally gave the lowest offer. Our highest BID was $15K and the guy was a bit blunt and disinterested with my wife. Others were between 5K-8K, and that did not include a good portion of MZ's final estimate. One guy said it was going to be impossible to redo the internal wiring. Keith was ~4200 for much more than anyone was willing to do. He provided a set rate for upgrading our service and an hourly "man hours + materials" estimate, which was open ended. This made me uncomfortable, as he estimated about 16 man hours to complete the adittional work outside of the service upgrade. I read about 100 reviews; all said he came in near his estimate, so I took the "risk". Him and two guys (incredibly professional, nice, pleasent - I feel awful that I don't remember their names. One was Kevin I believe) came over at 7 am. They worked non-stop all day. My wife and I left the house several times to get out of their hair. I never once felt uncomfortable leaving them at home with our two locked up small dogs. They were over until about 9pm or 10pm (we didn't mind and they would have left if we wanted them to). They worked tirelessly. I think the final cost came in at about 20 man hours (most of this was probably in excess due to some last minute things we asked them to do, which wasn't included in the original bid). Keith subtracted hours away from his day, since he worked on the all inclusive service upgrade for part of it (very professional and unexpected in my mind). Needless to say, we were incredibly happy. After the guys left, we could not tell they were here. They cleaned everything incredibly well. It's now about 2 months later. We have had no issues with the job they did. Everyhting works perfectly. We feel safe in the home. The new service upgrade looks great. Fuses work. I will recommend them to anyone and everyone without hesitation.

Two electricians working were in and out in an hour. Very courteous and professional. Cleaned up their bits of wire and dust before they left. Knew exactly what was wrong and were quick to fix it.

Today we passed 2 electrical inspections, one for the rough in the basement and one for an electrical service change. MZ Electric was fantastic. We had absolutely no problems. They were on time, did the work incredibly well, and were really professional. Today the inspector remarked that some of the basement breakers still need to be wired into the box, but it looked like we had electricians who knew their stuff and were on top of it because the wiring was marked and ready to go. Keith, Sean, and the guys were great and I would absolutely use this company again. I recommend them to anyone who wants a problem free experience.

The Electrician arrived on time and i told him what I wanted done. He ran the wiring cut the holes for the lights, installed them cleaned up the drywall dust from the carpet took the empty boxes and trash with him and made out an invoice explaining what was done and how much it was and I wrote a check and thanked him for doing the job and he also thanked me for calling him.

From the first call to Tara, each contact has been pleasant, helpful, and professional. We discussed the problems and Tara got right back to me with my options. We scheduled the appointment and Sean arrived promptly. (Actually a bit early, but I was asked first if that would be ok and of course it was.) Sean did a great job. Everything was done quickly and efficiently. He was a really nice, polite young man on top of it all. I would absolutely recommend MZ and will certainly use them again if I need an electrician.

Everything with MZ Electric was more than satisfactory. We purchased a big deal for 2 hours of electrical work. They had to reschedule due to inclement weather. But Keith was great in helping get that arranged. Our electrician showed up promptly at 7am and we walked through the items with him and he got to work. He was quick and efficient and had great advice. We would (and will) absolutely hire MZ Electric again.

The service was great. They electricians showed up on time, were polite and work efficiently.

We had used MZ Electric previously for a small job. We needed an electrician to replace our FPC circuit breaker box which is a HUGE job. We also had 2 light fixtures installed at the same time. Not only did they show up on time, they were extremely professional. The works looks absolutely awesome and they exceeded our expectations. I will definitely recommend them for any job big or small!

Shawn has exactly on time, very professional and friendly. He replaced and moved our kitchen chandelier in about an hour and charged $92 (including a 10% Angies List discount), which was much less than what I was expecting. He did a wonderful job and cleaned up after he was done. I'll definitely use MZ again next time we need an electrician.

Keith came to look at the work needed which oly took about 15 min. He emailed the estimate a couple days later. Once we agreed to do the work, we scheduled the time/day for the work to be done which was just a couple of days later. Sean arrived on time and did the work. He cleaned up the dust from cutting the outlet in the Master Bedroom. And, he did a quick extra look at my bathroom exhaust fan that never worked since we moved in 7 years ago and said it wasn't wired correctly at the box. He fixed that in about 5 min. And, just like a girl, I asked him to see if he could screw down an outlet plate in my laundry room...which he did in another 5 minutes. Wonder if he's fixes things that fast for his wife!,,:) Overall, good experience. Highly recommend!

From the scheduling of the appointment to the completion of work MZElectric was a pleasure to work with. Over the past year we use MZElectric several times and each time they met or exceeded our needs. Kevin arrived on time and was professional diuring the entire visit.
