Description of Work: On 8/14 I purchased the Deal, $140 for $300 Worth of Concrete Services with Affordable Concrete Work. That same afternoon, Affordable called me to discuss the project (very prompt). However, I explained that the concrete repair includes concrete grinding and he stated that they DO NOT do concrete grinding. Therefore, this Deal is of no use to me. I am requesting a full and prompt refund of $140.

Description of Work: They called prompt and were very up front in saying they don't do the kind of work I need. They didn't try to sell me something else. My only complaint is that the listing makes it seem like they do repair type work.

Description of Work: We had a great experience with Robert and his family. They replaced our very long driveway and put in a stamped concrete walkway to the house. Robert was great with communication - always answering calls and texts in a short time. There were no surprises at all. The crew was friendly and professional. They clearly enjoy working together as a team and it shows. They made a very involved process relatively painless. Total cost was $28,675.

Description of Work: Excellent work and excellent prices. Additional work that was required, was easily and fairly negotiated.

Description of Work: It has been a real pleasure working with Robert and all the guys at Affordable Concrete Work. They placed a new driveway section, connecting to the old one seamlessly, added a walkway and a pad for my trash cans, and doubled my patio size by adding onto the original, as well as creating a new area with a stepped up section. During all the prep work for the project it snowed twice adding up to over a foot of snow. They were prepared for the weather and had covered all of the work areas in tarps. Then after the snow, they came out and shoveled all the snow away from the work areas, protecting the entire work site. They took the time and effort to go the extra mile, without any additional charge, to do the job tight the first time. When you hear of a family owned business, most of the time it's at the management level only. Not so with ACW! They had members of the family working on the site from Grandfather to cousin, and they all work great as a team! Even my neighbors were impressed with the way the team worked, their professionalism, and the speed in which they did this project. I recommend Affordable Concrete Work for any patio, walkway of driveway needs. They really bring the art into their work along with family pride!

Description of Work: I used this company to pour concrete and stamp for a patio. Robert was very professional, kept appointments, and did the work as promised. We ran into a problem with weather that delayed completion, but that was certainly not their fault. When we discussed the work I was not as thorough as I should have been in telling him about the enclosure that would be done upon completion. As a result, we have to make some corrections, but once again that was not their fault. They also did a great job of cleaning up. I would certainly use them again but would have them discuss the work I was doing with my contractor to avoid any problems.

Description of Work: Replacement of concrete steps, walk and driveway

Description of Work: They removed my front porch and sidewalk to the driveway. The base was built up using roadbase, rebar was then installed, and porch to driveway was poured. The project was started on the afternoon of the first day, and completed before the afternoon of the second day. They were able to bid this project, and complete it while in the middle of another larger project. The team was professional, courteous, and fast. Robert was to the point, listened to my concerns, and offered a plan that would alleviate my problem. Although I though the bid was a bit high, his ability to have me "see" the job, and realize the end result were enough to solidify the contract. This company is advertised as a family operation, and that is what I got; the entire family working on my project. I would highly recommend, and use this company in the future.
