Description of Work: Concrete patio and sidewalk quality are very good. Crew was attentive and made an effort to leave job site clean. I was asked how I wanted my sidewalk completed, however the project was completed differently, resulting in my gate not closing after install. Full attention was not given to that, and I had to mention it to the team. Ultimately, they had to cut the fence gate to allow it close. Additionally, little concern was given to trying to match my old window well as requested. Small details were overlooked and not consistent with an A rated company.

Description of Work: I found this company after becoming a member of Angies List. I contacted them for some concrete work and they sent an estimator to my house. I went over the work I wanted and some concerns and he gave me a preliminary quote to complete the job. I then contacted the company and we further discussed the job and exchanged e-mails. I then wanted to finalize the deal so I sent and e-mail asking for a written contract outlining the work that would be performed to include any permits that would be required and the associated costs which I wanted shown in the contract. I then received a return e-mail advising me they would check that day if a permit was required, however, "FYI if a permit is required we can't do the job as we are not licensed in your area". I read that e-mail several times not believing I was just now being advised their company was not licensed. I subsequently contacted the Adams County inspector's office who issues permits and the inspector advised a permit for the job would not be required. That call took 15 minutes on my part but it is now going on 2 weeks and I never heard back from Affordable Concrete. I don't know if the fact I asked about permits and found them not licensed was a show stopper but I will not use this company and I will not use Angies List either if this is evidence of how you screen the companies you refer.

Description of Work: They were great. I was not thrilled with the city code issue on the sidewalk, but it was out of control of the vendor. That said, they could have taken a but more care in how it looked

Description of Work: These guys were great to work with. They are a family-owned business who really cares about the quality of the job they do. They went above and beyond what the code requires to make sure our new driveway and porch won't break or buckle in the future. We got 3 quotes from 3 different companies - ACW was in the middle range but provided more for the money. Glad we went with them!

Description of Work: I purchased the coupon for $100 for $300 worth of work. When they came to my house they said that they have a $2500 minimum. I did not schedule with them and went with another contractor. I told them that I felt the wording on their coupon was deceptive.

Description of Work: Matt came out and did some measurements and took pictures. I spent time review the details of the job with him. He had a tough time answering detailed questions and said that owner would be able to address them. He said I would hear back from the owner in 48 hours. I never heard back and did not receive a bid. Seems like they wasted both my time and theirs. Glad I didn't hire them and find they are not responsive and don't do what they say they will do in the middle of the job.

Description of Work: I purchased concrete servicing from an Angie's List deal because my sidewalks need to be repaired. Once the provider contacting me to discuss what I needed, he informed me that all repairs need to go through the City of Denver. Therefore I did not need the coupon and the company said they would refund the cost.

Description of Work: Robert came out and explained the amount of work that would need to be done to correct my issue. I am not able to spend a lot of money currently, so can not apply the coupon to anything in the near future.He was prompt, pleasant and professional.
