They did an absolutely fabulous job. The crew is to be commended for their punctuality and excellent work ethic. Our new porch is beautiful, the driveway in perfect condition and the stamped patio is artistic and stunning! We enjoyed having the crew here the few days it took. This is a family business and their pride is evident. Every day at least two, if not all three, of the grandpa, dad and son trio were on the job the entire time. I have already recommended them to several friends!

Robert came out on a Sunday to give us an estimate. He told us what needed to be done and how long it would take and how much money it would cost. His was the lowest bid. We liked that he explained everything and decided to go with his bid. Also checking on Angie's list the company has an A rating. They were on time, did exactly what they said they would do and charged us exactly what they said it would be. Great company

Robert and his family did a great job. They were on time very day and completed the job in just 3 days. I will use them again in the very near future. The quality of work was excellent and the price was right.

Robert responded in a timely manner to our request for estimate. The estimate was reasonable and fair. Work was schedule within the next two weeks and completed in a timely manner. The crew was professional and hard working.

Robert and his guys were excellent. Robert turned up early for the appointment, listened to our ideas and guided us as to what they could do and what what would not be possible. I feel Robert was a real straight shooter, he listened, was honest and delivered exactly what we asked for and exactly what he promised. The customer service was excellent, the guys were prompt and did the work very quickly. I am very pleased with their work and would certainly reccomend these guys for any driveway or concrete work.

Robert and his team did an excellent job. The work they did in both clearing, pouring, and finishing went beyond my expectations. The crew was also very congenial. They always made a point to keep me up to date on what was going on and answering any questions. Even better, I noticed the quality of their work is above what I have seen in the neighborhood (I rode around on my bike to check). One example is they added extra expansion joints at the bottom of the drive to match the other driveways in the area. I didn't ask for that but with the stringent HOA we have this is much appreciated. They also provided tips on how to prevent the driveway from cracking again (shore up the low areas where water can collect) and showed me where the front porch faced the same potential issues. This is a great family run organization and doing business with them was a pleasure from beginning to end.

They were here very promptly for my estimate. They also were on time every morning to do the work and stayed until it was completed, no matter the weather. They always cleaned up after themselves and were wonderful to work with. They were personable and competent and understood the issues involved and were very knowledgeable. The end product looks terrific. The garage is an older building which at times was more difficult to work with. I plan to use them again to do more work in the future.

Robert and the whole crew are phenomenal. The company is three generations of concrete operators. They know their craft, are competitively priced, friendly, competent, and artistic. Can not recommend highly enough.

They showed up when promised,replaced the driveway in record time, cleaned up and the driveway looks great.

I had to leave a couple of messages before they called back. Once they knew we were serious about getting the work done, they were more responsive. The first estimate was pretty reasonable, but the bid description was too vague. So, once the work started, the extra charges started being added in. For example, there's an extra charge if the old concrete has rebar in it. They broke up the concrete, took it away, then showed me about 6 pieces of rebar sticking out from where the stoop was connected to the house and said, "As you can see, the concrete did have rebar in it....." Thinking back on it, I should have just said, "Ok, just put those 6 pieces of rebar in the driveway and I'll put it out with my own trash to save the extra $150". They kept saying they needed to change the design, and wanted more money....with the bid being so vague, it was difficult to argue. When taking out the pillar holding up the front porch, one guy stood on the bucket of the bobcat - I guess they didn't bring a ladder. Not too safe. They left the downspouts lifted up, so when it rained, the iron from the gutters stained the newly poured concrete. When I complained about that, they said they told my husband that that could happen and my husband said he didn't care because the post would cover it up. There were more gutters than the one by the post, and my husband said they never said anything about the gutters. In the end, the finishing looked bad. I called and told them about it and they came back and put another product on top to smooth it out, It's not too bad, but the sloping is not quite what I was hoping for - too flat toward the house, etc. In the end, I have to say that they tried to fix the problems, and I guess not every company would do that, but overall, the experience wasn't very good.

Kept telling me how great he was on the phone but never bothered to send an estimate.

A great experience from a father and son business. Robert quoted the job and was a true professional throughout the project. I could tell this was a team you could trust and took all details into account. The end result was a great job, on time at a fair price. Someone I would recommend to my best friend.

The crew showed up on time and as expected and completed the work very quickly (within 2 days) and did a great job. My only ding on 'professionalism' dealt more with cleanup after the job as a good amount of landscape rock had to be moved, and there was concrete residue left on the slider door, the side of the house and the window well cover, which can be power washed off. And we weren't advised that if you get color treated concrete, you likely will need to power wash the patio a few days afterwards to make sure the color evens out as some of the pigment will 'pool' up at the top after the sun bleaches it for a few days. (Fortunately I have a power washer, so no big deal there.) I am certain if I had just bothered to ask Rob, he would have made sure it was done. So my fault too for not asking. For me, I would say those are more nit-pick details and do not represent my overall satisfaction with the job. For the quality of the work done, the value was tremendous. I highly recommend the Affordable Concrete team for your patio/concrete work.. Nice work guys!

Robert was extremely professional in all aspects from the first meeting to discuss the work to be performed to the completion of the project. Robert was receptive to all the work to be performed including the removal of hedges in the front yard. Robert did not push for any change orders but rather held to his initial fee quote Affordable Concrete is a family owned and run company. Robert and his family was able to coordinate the work based on our schedule and time frame. This was important as I live out of town with the timing and completion of the project the most important aspect of the work. Overall I would highly recommend Affordable Concrete for any concrete related work

Highly recommend! .... :) This is a well run family business. (My own background is business management.) When I first called Robert, he indicated that they normally did not come out this far from town. However, he said they'd come and look at the project. It was a busy weekend for Robert and his family since they had a party planned for a family member's 70th birthday. Despite that, his dad came out on the weekend and looked at the job after the family function. We were impressed with this level of commitment to customer service already! The bid was very fair, coming in slightly less than two other bids we had done. But the reason we chose Robert was because he said, "Call me with any concerns or ideas, etc., and I will answer any questions you may have." I did call, having several concerns and requests. Robert took the time to address all concerns and met all of my requests. In fact, he brought with him several options for me to choose from. His crew was on time both the 1st and 2nd day (final day). They were professional, respectful, happy, neat, efficient, and talked to me during the process regarding any questions or concerns I had. They asked my opinion and offered solutions. We LOVE our patio! They did a GREAT JOB! :) My husband and I are very pleased! I also spoke to Robert regarding a "seating wall" I wanted. He said his uncle did that for a living and asked if he could put us in contact. Tom is coming out to bid a seating wall for us tonight. I looked at the product he uses (from an online site he gave me) and am very impressed with the materials and beauty of its application.

Robert came out for a detailed estimate and responded well and in a timely manner to several inquiries over the next few days. My husband and I went to view a recent job the comapny had done and the folks at the home were very complimentary. We hired Affordable, they came out and tore out the old concrete and poured new. A couple of minor miscues, but they were very good about fixing those. Their crew was very hard working and polite.

Rob and his team did a great job. They showed up on time and did exactly what they said they would do. They definitely know what they are doing. The work was done quickly. Rob explained the process as things were being done and why they did things. Very upfront and honest. Everyone on his team was polite and personable.

Workers were prompt, curtious, comical, professional, delightful to be around. They work hard and get the job done safely. Best and fastest concrete work I have ever seen.

This is a family owned business. Bob the father met with my husband and I subsequently talked to Rob and then had a walk through of what we wanted done. They are very hard working and eager to do a good quality job at a fair price. They replaced quite a bit of our driveway and repaired cracks in other parts. They also repaired and applied an overlay to our patio. We were pleased with their work. One of the things I also wanted done was to replace a concrete step in our garage that was broken. I was not aware that my husband asked them to remove the step and that he would replace it with a wooden step. I was shocked when I realized that the step was not to be replaced and called Rob to inquire about this. I felt awful when it became apparent that the miscommunication was between my husband and I. I would not have agreed to having a wooden step. Rob very graciously offered to come back and pour a concrete step. I really appreciated him doing this. It was really important to him that his customers were happy with the work. I am very grateful to him and am totally happy with the work Rob, Bob and the rest of the crew performed. I wholehearted;y recommend them and appreciate their integrity and hard work.

He was one of several to give a bid. His bid was in the ballpark of the others but he did not try to push us to do more and they use rebar instead of mesh. They arrived did their work and were pleasant to be around. They went the extra mile to make us happy.

It went very well. It is a small family run operation and they did a good job. They were considerably less expensive than the other bids I got. I haven't had any cracks up to this point. I tried to call them a few times and they didn't call me back.

It went well. They arrived very early (between 6:35 and 7:00 each day), were professional, took their time, used laser lights to ensure things were sloped properly, and did a quality job, from what I can see at this time. They were also flexible, easily adding on the basement patch under the furnace that I did not expect when we initially quoted and planned the job.

Once the company owner did a site visit and gave a final estimate we signed the contract and the crew began work the next day. The patio color is just what we wanted and the finish is great. The topcoating on the existing porch did not match as well as we hoped and has since warn off in the higher traffic areas which now does not look good. We did not know the top coating could not take foot traffic and would not have included in the project if we knew this earlier. Overall would use Affordable Concrete for other projects but would have liked to been more educated on the limits of the topcoating product.
