They were great. They were reasonable as driveways go. They were also timely and professional. They did a good job. I cannot remember the month they did our driveway, because they cancelled our appointment before and moved it on another day.

Robert worked with me to install the patio soon, since we were selling our house, even though his schedule was very busy. The crew did an excellent job, showing up on time and giving us a very nice patio. Would recommend them to anyone!

In March I started calling to get bids on replacing my old cracked driveway. I had measured my driveway so I was able to give the information to the companies that I phoned. I received several bids, some of them were quotes without rebar. I was told that that was extra by one company. Robert gave me a reasonable guestimate and said that he could come out and look the next day. True to his word he showed up when he said he would. He measured the driveway told me exactly what they would do and how long it would take them to complete the job. He said they would come out as soon as the weather was more dependable. He did not want any money until the job was completed. He said he would call me a week before they came. We signed a contract the next day. He called about a week ago and said they would be out on May 24 at 7:30. At 7:30 on May 24 a team of approximately ten men arrived. They attacked my old driveway like a well trained army and demolished it. They put in the rebar and they were ready to pour the concrete by 12:30. They poured the concrete and smoothed and finished it as if it were a work of art. They were meticulous with my new driveway and their equipment. They were polite and professional and I hope to hire them again next spring to pour a new patio. I am very happy that I found Affordable Concrete and highly recommend them.

The job was done on time and they started on time with a team of professionals who where friendly, and informative; answering all our questions and attentive to our concerns. They are a family owned a operated business and take great pride in providing the best materials and labor for the price. It was a pleasure doing business with them and we will use them again and will refer them to our friends in the area.

Robert gave us an estimate for a concrete patio in our backyard. We chose another firm because the estimate was too high in comparison. However, Robert was extremely courteous and professional, and called with a follow-up to answer any questions. While the patio estimate was high, we may use them to stain our front porch in the future.

Robert of Affordable Concrete Work was extremely professional and courteous. He came over and did the estimate in December, and once I decided to have the work done, he was very diligent about keeping in touch regarding when they could do the work (due to weather conditions). Because of snow, they had to push back the date by a week, and Robert was prompt in calling as soon as possible and rescheduling to a date and time convenient for me. They arrived promptly on the scheduled day, began work quickly, and were done before I got home from an appointment. The work looked fantastic: they regraded the walkway to ensure water ran away from my house and the steps they poured look great. I waited until now to be sure that I could speak to the quality of the work. It has been four months and the steps and walkway are in great condition. They did not crack or shift at all in the weather we had this winter and spring. They seem to be very well done.

They are definitely a winner and the guy did a terrific job. The last concrete work we had wasn't done right but the guy from the concrete work came and did the job right.

After reading good reviews on this company on Angie's List, I decided to hire Affordable Concrete to tear out and dispose of a concrete patio that was previously messed up by another contractor. Using a Skidsteer with a concrete breaker, they worked very carefully to not damage surrounding retaining walls, pillars, siding, and windows around the patio. Work was completed in less than a day. Clean up was thorough. Very satisfied with the job that was done.

Cancellation fee of 20% is unreasonable and particularly offensive when we had three months before the job would even start. I called them immediately when our circumstances changed. They agreed to charge 10% instead of 20%, but that was still an $1800 penalty.

They did a great job. I've referred them to other people. They were very professional. They showed up when they said they were going to and they came back and checked the work. I really was impressed with these people.

He never got back to me with this information which held up the project.

Robert worked with us starting last fall until March when it was time to pour. He worked with our HOA to make sure everything was the way it needed to be, and finished well ahead of schedule. Robert was very courtious of our time, and the fact that people were home during the work, providing several updates as to what he was doing and why. Robert made several recommendations on the fly which really improved the look and functionality of the driveway. Robert finished ahead of schedule, and made several courtesy visits following to make sure everything turned out the way we wanted. This experience could not have turned out better. I will recommend Robert to anyone having work done for a long time to come!

We have a really high step up to our porch and needed to add a step. It is a small job, but Affordable Concrete did not mind doing it - they fit it in with a larger job in the area to save on concrete delivery costs. Robert stopped by and called me and we went over the options he proposed. He gave me 3 options - just a step, a step with a few feet of the sidewalk replaced, or the step with the entire sidewalk replaced. He was patient to explain the three options so I could make a decision based on what I needed now and in the future. The price was reasonable to replace the entire sidewalk along with adding a step. They showed up the day promised, set the forms and laid the concrete the next day - right on time. The crew are all family, which was really nice - they all seem very invested in the company and in customer service. The walk and step look great and fit right in with the front of the house. I am planning some other hardscaping down the road and will definitely be called Affordable Concrete again.

Overall they did what they said they would do, I added a stairway, walkway. I would recommend to anyone

The price was in line with other bids I received. They did the work in less than a day and it turned out great. Exactly as described. The crew was knowledgable and professional.

We have a slab foundation that is both interior and part of the exterior. The exterior had been badly damaged by time. Additionally there were some previously done bad repairs. I was having a difficult time getting repair estimates. Robert came out and took a look and gave what I felt was a reasonable price. Additionally he said they could do some landscaping work that we need done while they were here. While they were here the crew worked fast and were fairly professional. My wife did complain that it would have been appreciated, that when one of the workers came in to drill an interior spot, he didn't knock and ignored the sleeping infant very nearby. But overall the work went well. I do have some minor complaints, most of which Robert tried to correct or comfort my worries. We did have a crack form at the seam between the old and new work. This was not too surprising, but I felt the sealing repair job could have been much better. So I took it upon myself and used a pretty expensive self leveling sealant, which obviously fixed the seam much better. The landscape drainage work was not as drastic as I expected, admittedly I have not seen water in my area of concern since the work,but I am not convinced that is not because of the dry season since then. For a long time I put off writing this review, because really I wanted to write a glowing review, because of how hard I felt everyone worked for us for such a good price. Instead I ended up writing a review for a good company that left me wanting a little more.

We had used Affordable Concrete in June of last year for previous concrete done on front porch and inside garage. We were very happy with the estimates given. At the time of installation, they found that the original concrete had been poured far too thick and had wire mesh inside that had to be cut for each break. Removal would require extra time and equipment. A new proposal was set up before any further work was done. My husband and I were very happy that this was considered any we were also given options. They preceded on our okay and the finished work was done correctly and in a timely manner. We have received many compliments from our neighbors on the work that was done. Robert Hoffschneider and his family are very professional and we enjoyed working with them.

They did a great job. They showed up on time and made the entire process very easy for us.

We are extremely pleased with our new driveway. This is a family owned business and includes son, dad, grampa and other relatives - all friendly and hardworking people. Robert and his crew were professional and the results are great. We decided to replace the driveway in September. With the good weather this fall, most companies we contacted were booked until near Thanksgiving. Affordable Concrete's price was comparable to other contractors. We chose Affordable because we found Robert to be very personable and proved to be very reliable - answering all of our questions, getting us references in our neighborhood and staying in contact as we neared the time for our place in the schedule. The crew showed up and did the work exactly according to the schedule we were given. We couldn't be happier with our decision to go with Affordable.

The team really knows concrete! This is a family business with multiple generations working on the project (the younger guys doing the hard work with the older guys doing the supervising). They provided us a quote and spent a lot of time talking to my engineer husband to ensure that they knew what they were doing. Hubby insisted on higher quality work (and paying a higher price, obviously), because the parking pad will house a heavy RV. Some of the other companies we contacted offered a low price for lower-quality work, and they weren't willing to give us a quote for additional work (extra rebar, higher-density concrete). But Affordable Concrete was willing and able to do so. We got on their loose schedule (it's loose because of weather ... if there's any rain/snow, all jobs get pushed back a day or two). They arrived first thing in the morning with jackhammers to tear up the old concrete. Because the weather looked good for the next few days, they went ahead and poured the new concrete that afternoon. They knew how to taper the concrete a bit to ensure that water flowed off the pad and into the alley, and they were able to get the new concrete to just under the back fence. We were very impressed with the quality of their work!

My wife and I are thrilled and impressed by Rob's professionalism and solid overall work. My previous garage and driveway heaved and cracked due to poor work by the builders. Rob removed many tons of mud and compacted the base with road base. His team completed the project in a timely manner, performed exactly the work promised, and answered my hundreds of questions. Rob even poured extra concrete around the walkway at no additional cost.. It was difficult finding an honest concrete contractor, but Rob's team has to be one of the best in Colorado!

My sidewalk and side of driveway sunk and cracked due to shoddy builder cutting corners. Had a few estimates and Robert's estimate came in below all of them. He got to work quickly, did a fantastic job and stuck to his original estimate. I would highly recommend Robert and his team for any concrete work!

They setup the edging of the patio and ask for approval before pouring the cement. You get a good view of the shape and height of the patio. We took advantage of modifying the patio design and they made the changes quickly. Very accommodating to our needs. No complaints from them and they were willing to listen to our concerns. Very easy people to work with and they cleaned up after themselves and power washed the driveway.
