Took a while to get in touch. Estimate came back at 1700 with the deal applied. This should really be a 300-400 job.

I called them for an estimate of the work we wanted to do. The original estimate was just for a small repair where the sewer cleanout pipes were, but added in the sinking step and concrete around the patio door that created a problem for water pooling with leaking downstairs. They were very polite and though there schedule was backed out several months they moved the work ahead of other projects for my elderly parents. They didn't want them to wait and have more problems with water in the basement as well as issues that could occur with walking out the door on a very sunken step. Some bad weather delayed the original timing, but they still put this job ahead of others. They were very careful and cleaned up after the demoiltion of the portion of patio they needed to remove. The next day, the concrete was delivered and poured into place, stamped and cleaned up. The match was really good and since the stamp was such an old pattern, they rented it and it blended pretty well even though it was slightly different. My parents were very pleased with all the work. They came back about a week later to cut the plastic pipe to level in the concrete where the cleanout was. This is a family owned business and I felt very comfortable with all of them. They were all extremely nice and wanted to do the best job for us.

The job was done when promised and the results were very professional. The also worked with me to correct existing drainage problem with driveway. The bid was competitive with other contractors. I chose them because of high ratings on Angie's List. I am very pleased with the work and highly recommend them.

Awesome! From the time that I contacted Robert until the work was complete was a great experience! Primarily a family owned business, I would rather give my business to a small family owned company. Robert and the whole crew were professional throughout the process. Very knowledgeable and quite meticulous in their work. I appreciated their attention to detail and respecting my property as they worked. I would highly recommend this company for your concrete needs! Friendly family owned business. Very knowledgeable about concrete and helping us decide what to do. His quote was a bit high for our budget would consider calling him again when time to pull the trigger. He showed up when he said he would and was very low pressure.

The contractor came out to provide estimate, but informed us they do not do some of the smaller jobs listed with Angie's List such as concrete repair and joint caulking.

We got someone to come out and do a quote. They were a little late but that was understandable because it’s been raining for a week and they were with another customer. They also called ahead of time to let us know they would be a little late so that was great! The job was thorough. The quote came back but it was just much more than I wanted to pay right now.

They were very responsive with contacting me after purchasing the Big Deal. They came out and were very professional with the estimate. We have yet to decide if we are going to do the job, however if we do we will definitely use them.

Went fine, they were very friendly and accommodating, they just couldn't do the needed work.

Overall it went very well. The crew was delayed starting the job on August 29th, but came by at 5:30 pm to get started. I appreciated their willingness to begin work at the end of day. The crew was there by 7:30 the next morning and got to work right away. I'm happy to say that they were able to get all the work done that day, which meant most of the crew working until 5:15 that evening. The crew was hard working and friendly. Robert was wonderful to work with. He patiently answered all my questions and was more then willing to make changes for me several days before they were scheduled to begin work. The one negetive was, I thought they could have done a little better job cleaning up after themselves. Some of the equipment was cleaned over my lawn, leaving chunks of concrete in the grass. There probably was a better place or way for them to clean the equipment. I would happily use Affordable Concrete Work again.

I purchased concrete repair. It was to cover the repair of the concrete front walk. The walk had separated from the residence and needed to be patched and sealed. Unfortunately, they claim they don't do that type of work. The recommendation was that I should contact Angie's List for a refund.

Called and the next day Robert returned the call, responded within a couple of days to give an estimate for the work I'd requested. Signed the contract and again within a couple of days Robert called with Affordables schedule for the pour. Robert later called back moving the pour up by one day. The crew (9-10 workers) showed up to start the job as scheduled. Over the next 2 days they preped the ground, set forms, poured and compacted the roadbase,set & tied rebar,cut out old concete where needed etc.. On the third day they poured the concrete starting at 7:00 am, again with the 9-10 work crew, poured, leveled, finished the concrete & cleaned the entire work site, the job was finished by 10:30am. The driveway looks great with a nice broom finish. Robert called two days late to see if we were satisfied with the job, nice followup. Affordable is a three generational run family business, grandfather, son, grandson/granddaughter along with several son-in-laws. They work great together, keeping me updated on what was going on with all details of the job. Will absolutely use Affordable Concrete in the future on another job in the backyard. I've already recomended Affordable to several others. An A+ company.

Robert was great. We always new what was happening, because his communication is exceptional. He returned calls, kept us informed and was always here when we expected him. If he couldn't be here, he called us first to reschedule. He was even willing to come to our home even though we were a little out of his normal service area. The job was completed well and we really appreciated every bit of our interaction with this company. I wish all contractors were like Robert!

The entire project went perfect. Great communication every step of the way. Very professional crew did an outstanding job. Crew did outstanding finish work and left the job site clean when finished.

I was unable to use the company for service due to the company not being able to perform the service. The company was very professional, responsive and polite.

These guys are amazing! Very professional and extremely knowledgeable. Owner's son worked with us on the date - pushed it out 2 times - and completed it all in one day. They even smoothed it out after a rat, yes a rat, ran over the inside of the garage as they were finishing up. Highly recommended.

Pulled out old driveway and sidewalk and poured in the same day. Looks great and they were professional. They were good about staying in contact and working on scheduling. I was there for most of the project and it didn't look like they cut any corners and also didn't damage any sprinkler heads or property. I'd use them again or recommend them.

My wife worked with Robert in person the whole time. I worked with Robert over the phone through the whole process. Both of us are pleased with the family at Affordable concrete. Their professional work was great. I bet the driveway will outlast the house.

They were an enthusiastic group and very nice...and overall the project looks great...not crazy about the topcoat spray job...it got all over my storm door, which they cleaned up after bringing it to their attention. Not much to be done about the overspray on the threshold concrete part of my door or the brick on my house. If I had known it would spray like that I would have put up plastic to protect the door and brick or done without it. A lot of residual concrete left after the job...which I put in the buckets that held the caution tape...so it went after they came to take it down. The rest can go in the trash as it is minimal. There are some burn spots on the lawn which will disappear eventually and nothing to worry about (chemicals?) After they dug out the old concrete, they left a lot of trash...I went around and picked up after them and left them a garbage bag for the next day and they got the not too suble hint and there wasn't any more personal trash the next two days. Robert was very responsive and they showed up when they said they would. It's important to be clear about what you want...their vision and yours might be different...so be proactive in the process and you will be extremely happy with them.

I was unable to use this deal due to the service and price being unnecessary. The company was however very responsive, upfront and professional.

I spoke to Robert to schedule an estimate to build steps and discuss a patio and pouring concrete around the perimeter of the house to address drainage issues. Robert informed me that he is not doing work in the Park Hill area at this time.

Affordable concrete is truly a family owned and run business. Bob was very professional and punctual in returning an estimate for 3 separate jobs. Decided to get the walkway and driveway done. Rob, his father, son in law, and Raul, employee of 13 years, removed the old concrete and prepped the area's. Rob, his father, and 2 longtime employees showed up promptly at the time specified. The pouring and the finishing of the concrete was done in an extremely efficient and professional manner, they really work well together. The entire experience was completed without worries. It was very uneventful. Rob and his crew are fantasitc and will being using them in the future for 2 other jobs. Their expertise, efficiency, and professionalism are worth every penny.
