+ -1 moreI was browsing the yellow pages and happened upon this company that was nearby to my residence. Taking a chance, I met Loren in his very professional office. He was very courteous and I told him what I had removed from my living room and what information I was interested in obtaining. I told Loren that I was happy to go in the attic and obtain the information. he replied that if I did that, he could provide me a very detailed analysis in a relative short time....which is exactly what happened. The report had more information than I could have possibly have hoped for. Everything relative to my roof loading capability, average snow loading in Colorado and an additional informative blurb on Ice and Snow Accumulations on Roofs. Returned information contained design characteristics and diagrams of many common trusses. With this information, I found that I had a W or Fink truss. Loren even provided me additional information relative to how I could strengthen my load bearing trusses if I ever decided to install a heavier roof finish. All in all, I am a very happy camper with everything from the price to the performance and with the detailed analysis. I am an electrical engineer by trade and was quite impressed with the detail provided. I am very happy to recommend this company and Loren to anyone requiring structural analysis for their home or business.
Description of Work: I had removed an interior wall and needed to know if I would have any future issues with repairs and/or damage. I also requested a detailed analysis on the load bearing trusses within the affected area. I crawled into the attic and got a ton of measurements relative to truss lengths, size of wood, angles within the truss, cross member lengths and roof angle, etc. I submitted all this data to KRM and within a couple of days I was provided a detailed report that far exceeded my expectations.
