Called about bath vent fan upgrade (1969 home) for the first and second floor. Quoted me over the phone without looking at the job (first red flag). Insisted he comes to assess the job, still confident he could do it for a set price, I indicated how important it is for minimal drywall damage. Shows up with a guy who has never done this before (I hear him say it is literally his first day on the job). Rob says he needs to cut a hole in the first-floor drywall for the vent fan. I say okay. They cut an 8x10 hole for access. Well at least it is only the first floor. On the second floor, I figure they have access via the attic. Nope, they cut another 8x10 hole to remove the old fan. My bathroom is filled with expensive insulation that they tell me is to difficult to put back. Additionally, they break the glass on the vent fan. He gives me a good discount of $50 to replace the glass which sets the final price if the project at the price he originally quoted me. Yep, he broke my vent fan and still charged me the full price for the job. The fans do work. However, I now have to repair the wiring damage he did to the electrical and then patch the holes in my ceiling. In the end, I paid him to leave to prevent further damage to my property. PS - Rob also left a nice puddle of oil in my driveway. Buyer beware.

The electrician was skilled and very nice i an so glad hew dis threw job. It was a difficult install here was thew third person to see the job and the only one who took it on.😉

Did the work on a Saturday

Robert upgraded our house, built in 1970 with a 100 amp limit to support a pool we put in, which itself draws 110 amps at 240v. Robert removed the main panel and meter box, upgraded the main panel, and ran 3 other panels - 2 for the pool (GFCI) and one in the garage capable of charging 2 electric cars simultaneously. His work was fantastic, the attention to detail and his mastery of his craft was evident in the work he did. The inspection passed with no changes, and switching over to the new panel was seamless, so our total power interruption was less than an hour. He even came out and worked all Saturday afternoon connecting the pool when it arrived so we could use it quickly. Wholeheartedly recommend. Robert's a great guy, and his work is top end.
