Kenny's Concrete

Went really well. It was the second time we've hired them. Both jobs were really good.

Start to finish the whole process was very well done. Once I made a call to get an estimate, the knowledgeable estimator was out within a week and completed the estimate during that visit. He then took the time to explain a few of the options available (new driveway, new garage floor, new sidewalk to the front door) and walked me through the estimate step by step, answering my questions. After receiving estimates from 4 other companies, my wife and I chose Kenny's, not because they were the least expensive (they were basically in the middle), but because the estimator and Gina, one of the company's principals, gave us the confidence that they'd do a great job. In fact, on Gina's recommendation, we delayed the job from fall 2016 (possible freezing concerns) until just after Memorial Day weekend 2017. We were put on the schedule, which then changed once again due to weather concerns (too much rain in the forecast). The crew arrived on the day promised and were incredibly hard workers, busting out the old and very long driveway in a day, being very respectful to our landscaping adjacent to the drive. Day two the crew showed up early to place the forms and install the rebar grid, working into early evening. A particular 'bonus' was the crew helping me install 2 channels across the drive where new sprinkler lines were housed. The next day the cement truck arrived and, again, the crew worked without stop until the driveway was poured and smoothed. They then policed the area, cleaning up debris. Once the drive hardened enough, they returned to remove the forms, and about a month later, once the drive had cured, a crew member returned to spray a sealer on it. A few days after that was done Gina called to follow up, making sure my wife and I were satisfied w the job. Over the nearly 25 years my wife and I have owned our home we've had 'hit and miss' w service providers, but Kenny's Concrete rocked it! We felt they were fair in terms of pricing, honest in terms of how the scope of work and type of pour was explained, and great w both pre-job and post-job follow up. We've already recommended them to neighbors and friends. If you have a concrete job in mind make a point to include Kenny's in your bid process...they did a great job!

We contacted 3 contractors of which only 1 responded in a reasonable time. Gina with Kennys Concrete called us and set up the appointment to give us their bid on the work. Paul came out on time and discussed what Kennys workmen would do and the price. We accepted the price and was told it would be about 3 weeks. As luck would have it Gina called 2 weeks early and moved our date up The job was done perfect and we are totally pleased with the results. Kennys crew did a great job

Fantastic crew! Did a great job, were punctual and worked fast, even came to cover the new driveway with plastic when rain threatened. Stayed true to the estimate and provided written care instructions (including when it's ok to walk/ drive on the new concrete) to have on hand. The whole team worked well together ensuring good slope, no air bubbles, and a beautiful finished product. We're quite happy.

The estimator set up appointment arrived on time, listened to our desires for the project, produced a bid, and explained the process. Scheduler called within two days to confirm appointment, answered questions, and discussed the project. On the day of the project, the crew was on time, respected our lawn and bushes, were efficient, did exactly what I asked in terms the broom finish, expansion joint sizing, and then got to work. Total time for the project was two days. Four weeks later their specialists came to our home to seal the slab. He made sure to protect the surrounding concrete surfaces and brick siding of the house. Communicated when he was coming and said a professional good bye. One of the BEST contractors we have ever dealt with, they had it all going on with consistent and clear communication, a well honed professional grade process, completed project on time at the bid price. They actually did their own quality control instead of relying on the homeowner to catch their mistakes. End result: After almost two months, the slab has one small expansion crack and the neighbors know who did the job and why we are so pleased.

Kenny Concrete is one of the best contractors I have ever dealt with. They were highly skilled and easy to work with and their prices were competitive.

All of our interaction was extremely professional and all employees were very pleasant and punctual. All work was completed within the time specified. Our concrete is absolutely beautiful! I will recommend them to everyone I know. Fantastic job done!

It is too late in the season to replace the driveway with new concrete given scheduling. They have agreed to perform this work in early spring of 2017. My interaction with them has been outstanding and I look forward to having them do the work.

We haven't had the work done due to the company's incredibly busy schedule. At the moment the earliest Kenny's can do the work is early November, so we may move the project to next spring to avoid any issues w freezing concrete. The estimator was very polite and knowledgeable...and of the five estimates we received, Kenny's was among the 2 lowest. But all the company's we contacted planned to use the same products (#3 rebar, 4" 4000 PSI concrete, class 6 road base, 10' joints). In a few cases the bids were $3000 higher, which made no sense to us given that the job and materials were apples to apples. Kenny's has been pouring in CO for 40+ years, which was also positive to us. One note: Kenny's web site (when I logged on) was corrupted by a virus. That may have been fixed, but be careful logging on. You may wish to simply call them first. The rating I'm giving is based only on the estimating experience...

It went great. They actually answer the phone or will return the call immediately. Estimator showed up on time and provided ideas/changes. Once I committed to them, Gina was communicative on schedule, called a week before to confirm - no changes. The crew showed up on time and went over the job with me. They knocked it out on schedule and on budget. No surprises. A good group of hard-working guys. The new concrete looks great.

It didn't work out our job of a 10ft by 10ft is not big enough for them to consider. If anyone is looking for a smaller job look else where. They did respond quickly but I am disappointed that they wouldn't even consider my job. You might want to put minimums on your page.

First of all I checked Angie's list for reviews for this contractor. Many were outstanding with only one person who could notbe satisfied. I looked for someone in our area with a good reputation according to Angie's List. I called and asked for an estimate.They graciously arranged for their estimator to visit our property and determine what the job entailed and, taking measurementsand viewing the surrounding area. Then He provided us with their best estimate. We discussed what actions I needed to takebefore they could complete the task satisfactorily. I had a hedge that had over grown the edge of the old drive and I had thattrimmed back to facilitate forms installation. When I had completed my tasks, I called the contractor and informed him I wasready for his operation. The contractor scheduled two days for the work to be completed. They arrived at the appointed time and began then work. they returned the second day right on schedule and completed the task. Kenney advised us not todrive on the new concrete for 4 whole days. That was on a Tuesday. We did not drive on the new concrete until Sunday.They have scheduled time to come back and seal and caulk the new work where needed. We are highly pleased with Kenny'swork and would recommend Him to everyone who would want an excellent concrete job done.

I would rate the entire experience a 100 out of ten if possible (A++++++)! I can not say enough about my experience with this company. Starting with Paul who did my estimate all the way through the end of my project, the entire team from Kenny's was exceptional!!! Kenny even spent a lot of his time on my job site. They removed my driveway and front sidewalk and replaced them both. I have plants and landscaping on both sides of my sidewalk (within 6 inches of the sidewalk and these guys did the entire job without hurting one plant, not even a leaf! Along my driveway on both sides was my lawn. When they finished, my lawn was in perfect shape!! They used used a nice base of asphalt road base then rebar before they poured. They ensured the rebar was lifted up into the concrete during the pour as opposed to just leaving it on the ground where it would have done NO good. The entire crew of people Kenny sent to my house were really exceptional. Concrete is a unique material that will remain in great condition IF you follow Kenny's care and maintenance instructions - NO ice melt (use SAND), rinse it off several times a year, especially during the winter months and especially when road material melts or falls from your car. Mag Choloride is BAD for concrete. Kenny uses a HIGH quality concrete, materials and workmanship. It costs a little more for the best of everything but I guarantee it is worth it!! Both of the guys who delivered the concrete even told me that Kenny's and the concrete mix they use was the best! If you need concrete there is no need to look at anyone else. Kenny offers a very fair price and the BEST quality materials and the BEST crews available anywhere!

Couldn't have gone better. Everyone involved exceeded my expectations. The demo and installation crew were terrific and respectful of the property and worked like the dickens to get the job done. Even after the project was completed the service was above and beyond what most businesses offer these days. Thank you Gina and Chino for a great job and all your help. To any consumers reading this review, I don't think you can go wrong hiring Kenny's Concrete.

The estimator was quite helpful in explaining the process. The actual team that came to do the work were very efficient, punctual, neat, and knowledgable.The lead person suggested some changes in our original plan that were incredibly helpful. They demolished the porch and driveway and laid forms one day and poured the concrete the next. My grandchildren were quite fascinated with the whole process and watched from the garage. They did a great job of leveling where the new concrete met the existing slab. The final design and finish looks great. Several neighbors have commented on how good it looks. There was another driveway poured up the street and one person commented on how much nicer our driveway turned out. Another person from the company came out the same day to review warranty information and care and maintenance issues. The process and finished product exceeded our expectations.

After two months of weather delays, we finally had our driveway removed and replaced by Kenny's Concrete. Kenny's Concrete was a pleasure to deal with. From the initial meeting with the bid specialist, to the on-site meeting with the job foreman, Juan, to the final visit by Gina (now owner of the business) and being able to see the final new driveway; I could not be happier. Through all of the snow and rain delays over two months, Gina, (the founder's daughter) stayed in touch with us every week, which is something very rare in todays rip-off construction industry. The tear-out, preparation, and final pour was completed in two days, and the work is phenomenal. We now have the best looking driveway in our whole area. Highly recommend Kenny's Concrete for your flat work needs.

Crew arrived on time and ready to work. The weather was cool, and started snowing. They continued working, getting all of the old concrete removed from both the driveway and sidewalk. They got the new area all leveled and framed, then covered it and left for the day. Workers very efficient, respectful and quick. The next they, when it was totally sunny, they returned to pour the concrete. I had to leave for a couple of hours, and I when I returned everything was finished and totally cleaned up - it looks beautiful! It's now five days later and I'll be able to drive into the garage tomorrow. The office manager called me later to let me know about delivery of the warranty and care instructions, and to arrange for payment. Kenny's Concrete stuck exactly to the quote, did an excellent job, and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again or to recommend them. A totally respectable, quality company.

Kenny's concrete exceeded all my expectations from beginning to end. The initial estimate was great and accurate. Very punctual and polite. Crews showed up on the day scheduled and went to work right away. All the employees were really terrific and communicated very well. Very pleasant and professional. Demolition of driveway and garage floor was complete in less than three hours. Area was prepared and ready for new concrete by noon. Poured new concrete, finished surface, and were gone by 3PM. And it looks BEAUTIFUL!!! Came back the following day to add control joints and insulating blankets to keep concrete warm during the cold nights. I couldn't have asked for a more professional job at a very fair price. We were very impressed with this company. Family owned and operated, so they take a lot of pride in what they do. Had the chance to meet the "Legend" in person....Kenny! Super cool dude. Experiences like this make me trust humanity and contractors. Terrific people all the way around. All their heavy equipment was new and in really good condition. No hydraulic leaks or oil leaks. First class operation.

They were excellent. Their concrete is much more expensive. I did have them add color to the mix. We were subject to the weather. The color added restrictions and as soon as they saw an opening that would accommodate what I was having done, they were all over it. They called me, and said they saw a spot that would work, and if I wanted to go for it? I said yes.

Of all the bids for the work this was the most affordable. I was pleased with the professionalism and explanation given during our meeting. Lots of options were presented that could save costs. I ended up preferring another bid from a competitor, but only due to some very picky things I wanted that I found elsewhere. If I was looking to do the most economical concrete work this is my go to in the future. When I am being picky about a silly detail it is probably the competitor that gets my bid.

Workers arrived exactly on time and worked quickly and efficiently. Site was kept clean and workers were even careful not to step on plants that lined the walkway/porch (!). Finished ahead of schedule despite rain delay. Workers were polite to us and the neighbors and kept the site and the street clean at all times. The final product looks great. I had the driveway, garage, porch and walkway all done at the same time because they don't do smaller jobs--note that they said if the neighbors wanted to do their driveways at the same time, the cost would have gone down (so consider getting a neighborhood together if your job is too small on its own). Note that the driveway hasn't been through a winter yet, so I can't comment 100% on the concrete quality, but it sure looks good now.

Kenny's Concrete is a great company to do business, from the very beginniing when the estimator came ,to the end when a few details had to be taken care of. tThey are one of the few companies that I have done business with that still believes in customer service. On time pleasant to do business with, and great clean up and follow through, with prices that are right on. You cannot go wrong using this company and thanks to Gina and the crew that put in my new driveway.
