Overall, it went well. But his window team cracked a window glass when they replaced the window next to it in a bay area of the dining room. They then tried to SELL me a replacement window for the one they cracked. While I couldn't prove it, circumstantial evidence identified that the window was not cracked before their crew replaced the adjacent window and that there was nothing that could have fallen on or against it (other than, say, a ladder). They finally owned up to it and replaced the window at no additional charge. (Thank you!). However, they finished their work on July 2, 2019 and I gave Jason the final payment. Then, a month later (in August 2019) I found a piece of window beading on the patio. It had fallen from the bottom of a family room window overlooking the patio (see photo). Then, I further inspected their work and found another piece of window beading that was coming out at the garage window overlooking the patio (see photo). So I called and spoke to Jason on both of these items and he said that he would get them taken care of. That was NINE MONTHS AGO and I am still waiting. This shows that JP Home Exteriors is no different than most other contractors - once you pay them the final payment, you cannot get them to come back and warranty their work. Make sure that you are not too quick to pay them in full. For this very reason I would not employ their services again. At this point I am going to have to purchase some beading and make these repairs myself.
Description of Work: We hired JP Home Exteriors to repair hail damage as follows: Replace 6 windows with damaged sills, replace damaged beading on an additional 15 windows, repair the damaged stucco, and repaint the house.

I signed a contract with JP Home Exteriors on 9/14/2015 to install James Hardie siding on my home. The total cost of the job was $24,505. The week of October 20 material was delivered and left of my driveway. It rained and snowed on the material for 2 days. I emailed the company on October 27 to say that work wasn't started. They told me they would get a crew ASAP. The job was started. I was concerned with the installation practices and called the company the first day. No response. On Nov 12 I emailed and left a voicemail stating that the job didn't look like it was being completed properly. No response. I sent an email Nov 14 with concerns. No response. I sent an email Nov 16 to say that I had concerns and still didn't have gutters. With the snow gutters were a concern. The project manager emailed and said he would stop by. On November 20 I emailed and left a voicemail asking that the owner contact me because I believed that he should see the job in person. No response. November 23 the owner emailed and said that the project manager would call me. I never heard from him. On December 9 I had a meeting with the owner and the project manager. I went over all of my concerns. He agreed to make repairs and created a contract with the repairs detailed. He also requested that I pay him the second portion of the contract so he could buy more material. He stated that he already paid the sub contractor and needed the money to buy material. At this time his project manager walked the roof and pointed out that there were areas of the roof that were damaged and I should call my roofer for warranty work. #### roofing did my roof and closed out the permit with Centennial. I asked ### roofing to look at the roof. They came out and let me know that the siding company removed all of the drip edging and step flashing was pulled away from the wall. I have pictures that were taken in September by American Family. In these pictures you can clearly see that the roof didn't have any damage. American Family concluded that the roof had no hail damage or other damage. American Family did point out that the siding was old. This was why I decided to replace it. #### roofing also let me know that with our current snow storm that I will probably see leaking in the roof when the snow melts. The owner of JP Exteriors continues to make excuses and place blame on others. As of April 2016 the job is not complete. I have sub contractors knocking on my door telling me the owner didn't pay them. The owner has filed a lien on my home because I haven't finished payment on a job that is inferior and still incomplete

Jason took a long time to get me a quote, was quick to take my deposit and then wouldn't answer his phone. When I finally talked with him, 3 weeks after he took my deposit, he told me they would start the next week. They didn't start for another week and a half. Other Issues - He told us to pick a color for our stamped concrete, but gave us the wrong website to review. I had to make a special trip home from work to get the color picked. - They only did half of the job the first time they came out to do work. When I called Jason to get it resolved, he sent his assistant to work out the details. (She did a good job.) - The only time I actually talked with him was when it was time to pay the bill. The only reason I don't rate this an F is that the end result is actually good. Jason's communication and project management skills get the low rating.

Our house was approximately twelve years old and needed exterior painting. JP Exterior provided us a professional quote. Once we provided them with notice to proceed, they completed the work in a very timely manner. Their quality of work met and surpassed our expectations. It has been over six months since the work was completed and it appears to be holding up well. We have not made any call backs to complete touch-ups or repairs.
