They were outstanding and did a good job. They were quick to respond, professional, courteous, respectful and really nice people.

Terrill was amazing. He assessed the situation accurately the first time and filled in some low areas with different clay soil and patched some small cracks in the foundation. I was dubious at first however after several significant rains and flash flooding in Castle Rock, the floor and wall are still dry with no sign of leaks. He also installed a drain pipe attached to the downspout for better drainage off the roof. I held off re-carpeting the basement area just to make certain that water did not reappear. Terrill knows what he is doing.

I met with Terrill to discuss having a drainage system installed on the side of my house. We came to an agreement on the work to be done and after many repeated calls from me Terrill provided me with a proposal to do the work and schedule it a month out. I signed the proposal and sent it back with the agreement to do the work in mid september. In the interim we had some serious flooding in Colorado and Terrill said that his crews had been setback and there may be some delays. That's okay, I understand. However, I never again heard from Terrill or H2O Drainage Systems on the work that we had agreed upon despite attempts to contact.

Terrill did a fabulous job and we are very satisfied with his work. We called after the heavy storms last year and we had to wait awhile because he was very busy and H20 Drainage Systems is a small family run business but it was worth the wait. He was honest and explained what was causing the water in our crawl space and what steps needed to be taken to remedy it. He gave us some different options to stay within our budget and also pointed out some easy fixes for free to prevent damage to other areas. He is very knowledgable about drainage and water problems! Don't use a landscaping company that claims to know about drainage (we did and had to pay to have Terrill fix the problems they didn't)!

When Terrill frist came out to look at the project he claimed he had a new type of drainage system that no one else knew how to do and that he was in the process of patenting it. It really sounded good so we told him we wanted to hire him. He wanted us to hire an engineer to tell him how to best do the job and gave us the engineers name, we hired the engineer to do the necessary report. According to the report we needed other work done that Terrill couldn't do so Terrill gave us the name of a company he said he had worked with and was good. This company was not good and held up the project for months, extorted money from us caused us to get a lawyer and cost us double what it should have cost. We asked Terrill to help us and he said he no longer did business with the company. While we were in H*** trying to get the other company to complete their work Terrill kept sending us warnings that we had to get on his schedule NOW! to get him to our house, first in weeks, then in months. We finally got the work done but there was a drainage problem. We hired another company who found a split drainage tube laided by Terrill. We also found out his special soon to be patented system is something other companies do regularly. Also through this whole process he was paranoid that the other company was going to see and steal his special system.

They did an excellent job. Methodical and attentive to details. The system has quickly dried out the soil under the basement floor, and I'm optimistic that the flooding we experienced last Fall will be averted in the future. Highly recommend Terrill and will use him in the future.

Maybe this company is good at waterproofing basements, but I'll never know. I contacted the company through Angies list and via phone and was told the soonest they could start work would be next spring and if I wanted a quote it would take at least a month to get someone out. After leaving a voice-message stating I still wanted someone to come and give a quote, I received a text message from someone in the office saying it was schedule for Sat November 7th. Thankfully I was available then, but having someone text you when the appointment would be without any discussion/approval was odd and off-putting. After waiting the month, the appointment time finally arrives and NO ONE calls or shows up. The company is clearly busy with work now to the point where they are willing to blow off potential clients.

Text message 09/28/15 06:02: "Hello this is Terrill Weddel H2O Drainage Systems. We will not be able to make it over as we have filled our quota on work for this area. If you are interested you can send us pictures of the problems you were having to h2odrainagesys@aol.com thank you for your call and interest. Sorry we will not be able to come over today!" The company is based in the Denver area but indicated on this site and on the phone that they work in Colorado Springs. This is the only contact from them since scheduling an appointment with them weeks ago. After the text message, I left a phone message at his office asking for a return call; to this time no call has been returned. We are very busy and had changed our schedules to accommodate this appointment. In my opinion, at best, his behavior is inconsiderate and unprofessional. He certainly has a right to refuse business, but good customer service and professionalism would have warranted a call at an earlier date. Certainly, he would have known before 0600 hrs Monday morning that "?we have filled our quota on work for this area." The offer to "?send us pictures?" seems quite disingenuous; why would we send pictures to a company that treats us this way. He professes a desire to provide good customer service. In this instance, he has failed miserably. In reading the reviews, others appear to have had similar problems. We had called H2O Drainage Systems because there appear to be only a limited number of companies on Angie's List who do this type of work. Fortunately, there are others willing to work with us.

It went fantastic. Terrill always goes the extra mile to ensure that everything works well and water is moving away from the foundation.

Terrill and his son Terry do all the work themselves. They are friendly, courteous and know their trade. As they are a small outfit, it took a while to get the work scheduled and for them to finish other jobs and start ours -- about six weeks. Once they began, however, they showed up on a daily basis, Mon-Fri, until the work was done, though sometimes just for a couple of hours a day. It took about two weeks to completion after they started.They dug a long trench and installed both solid and perforated pipe in a gradually descending trench away from the problem area. In this case it went to a small gravel pit they also dug. The trench was lined with plastic first, and filled with river rock once the pipe was in. Even before they were completely done, during a period of heavy rain for two days, the system worked great, and a normally very wet back yard was dry for the first time. They worked carefully, mainly with manual tools like shovels, and hauled away the dirt and hauled in the river rock themselves, carrying it to and from their pickup in 5-gallon buckets. There was very little disturbance of other areas of the yard or garden.Would definitely employ them again. Terrill's decades of experience are invaluable.

Terrill and his son performed the work called for in their proposal though it actually took somewhat longer than they had estimated. They did a fine job and recovered the areas excavated with the existing mulch where available. Absolutely no complaints about the work done. We will now see if does the trick in preventing seepage of ground water through the basement slab.

They were the only ones to advertise that specific service. Their business is moving water away from foundations so it is a unique service that he provides. He did everything within 3 weeks. The overall experience was good.

They are extremely knowledgeable and skilled. Becuase it is a family business, if there is a problem at home, they have not got a team to fill in so there can be delays. But they were pretty good at letting me know if the was going to bThey dug trenches and installed 2 sump pumps in our crawl space following the flood. e a delay. I would recommend them warmly.

We followed his instructions and await the next heavy rain/hailstorm to test our work. Thank you so much Terrill!!

They were really good. He came and gave me an honest evaluation of what he felt was the problem. There is water issue with my property in the past and it's kinda on the safe side but nobody guarantees anything unless you do that whole perimeter type french drain. I don't think it turned itself on really because we did a little of landscaping on the outside next to the garage. There's more that needs to be done, he recommended that and I know what he saying is true. He can only do so much at one time. The price was reasonable, they showed up on time, and they were neat and clean.

They were very knowledgeable and had a lot of suggestions. The initial quote was way more than we were expecting and had the money to do- new window well, lots of drains, new down spout, grading s etc.... At first he said that this is what he would do and nothing less but once we called and spoke to him, He said he would do the lesser (we wanted to start with new window well and grading at the back of the house). At this time, we are not ready to do anything, we might even try to do this ourselves. But, when we are ready and have the money, we would call H20 drainage out again.

He recommend all the improvements to avoid a future flooding. He was very friendly and professional. We are waiting for an estimate.

Terrill and his son spent about an hour removing a defunct sump pump and installed a new one for us. He also gave us tons of advice on further water mitigation we could do. We realize Terrill is swamped (forgive the pun) right now but he remained gracious throughout. Hopefully, we won't ever need his services again but if we do we'd go back to him in a flash!

My house is on a hill and water runs down the driveway. I hired H2O Drainage Systems to solve the problem. The two drains that were installed were not big enough to handle the water and they were too easily clogged. My neighbors tried to tell him that the drains were too small but he told me he had all these patents and that he knew all about the flow of water and how water moved. He was the ":expert". When it rained, neither drain worked and now I have $5000.00 worth of damage in my home and a drainage system that doesn't work. The second drain was just extra insurance but both were inadequate. I am so unhappy with this service. I am trying to sell my house and I thought I would fix this problem so whoever moved in didn't have to deal with this same mess and now I still have to take care of the drainage system and fix up my house. The concrete they put in is also cracking.

Terrill was great! After some minor miscommunications regarding timing and scheduling, Terrill provided excellent service for a very fair price. We needed some grading done outside of the home, some non-structural cement work repairs and some drain replacement work, and all of this was done by H2O Drainage. I would definitely hire this company again, and would recommend them to anyone looking for drainage solutions in the Denver Metro area. Terrill's experience and knowledge of the Colorado soil and drainage systems saved us money and gave us confidence that the job was done right.

Fantastic. We could not be more pleased with the service we received. During a home inspection a "moisture problem" was noted in the sub-floor of our home. We contacted 4 other contractors before calling H2O Drainage. The same request was made of each contractor - come look at the issue, diagnose what is causing the problem and suggest a solution. All the other contractors only seemed interested in selling us a moisture barrier and could not explain to us why we suddenly had a problem where none had existed before. The estimates we received ranged from $2,500 - $14,000 to "fix" the problem. In less than 5 minutes Terrill, owner of H2O Drainage, diagnosed our problem as an issue with our roof rather than our basement sub-floor. He pointed out the signs of water running down the exterior wall of our home from the roof and then over the foundation wall into the basement and sub-floor. He told us that had we installed a moisture barrier we would have only ended up with water on top of the barrier which would have done nothing to solve our problem. Terrill was able to provide a referral to a roofing company who came out and confirmed there was an issue with the roofing tiles and flashing on the roof. As a precautionary measure, Terrill suggested we improve some of the grading around our home where the ground had settled over the years and install a sump-pump, both of which we had him do. We are so grateful to Terrill for correctly identifying our problem and know if not for his amazing ability to find and figure out issues surrounding water and drainage, we would have spent a lot of money and in the end not fixed the problem. We cannot recommended him more highly as a very honest and straight forward contractor.

Terrill was great to work with, very professional and prompt. He got the pump replaced in a couple of hours.

Terrill came out and inspected my sump pumps. We had a miscommunication on the date and time and he changed his schedule so that he could make it out to my house, even though he was in the middle of another job. He offered to do the job free of charge, but I needed a receipt to show the people buying our house. He discounted the visit from $195 to $95 because of the miscommunication. He was efficient, professional and very nice to work with. His report was detailed and exactly what I was looking for.

Terril is a true professional; he really knows his business. He has 30 years experience with the best contractors in town, and had great advice for my personal drainage issues. He promptly gave me a (free) proposal, and had all details listed and itemized. His pricing is good with options for discount if you are wiling to work. I had personal issues arise, and was unable to go forward with the project, but plan on using his services in the future. Would definitely recommend his expertise and knowledge to handle any house drainage issue! Thanks Terrill.!
