We had a very positive experience with G. S. Construction! We were impressed with Keith from the moment we met him at the Denver Home Show. He was personable, easy to contact, and always promptly replied to our questions and requests. He was on the job every day with his crew, who worked non-stop to get our huge siding job completed. We liked the fact that they finished up every day around 5 or 5:30 so that we had peace and quiet during our dinner. And they were able to complete the job in less time than we expected. Their workmanship is top-notch, and we are getting tons of compliments on the new appearance of our house from friends and neighbors. We highly recommend G. S. Construction to anyone interested in siding replacement!

Keith came to do an estimate in May and did the work mid-June. He and his crew came to our home and each person on his crew was extremely polite and courteous. They tore off all the siding from the back of our home, were very efficient Keith and the crew replaced all water damaged boards behind the old siding. Replaced all with Hardie board siding planks. Replaced gutter and flashing where necessary. The painting crew was polite and efficient also. Did great job caulking each seam, and painting thoroughly. The really great thing was I only found one nail in the yard! We have had work done by others and they always left a mine field of nails and metal shards - very damaging to dog paws and bare feet! I would use Keith and his crew again. Great job!

Keith was very professional in all his interactions with us from the initial bid through final inspection. We ordered the James Hardie siding and we are very pleased with how it looks and the durability. Keith set appropriate expectations and responded to every question and concern in detail. He also made a special trip to our home to personally bring over samples to help us in our color selection. The project was completed on time and the quality of the work is great. My only feedback is the construction team should think about turning down their music while they work. My neighbor works from home and complained about the excessive noise.

These guys did a great job really fast left the place clean seams on siding were tight. The guys were nice guys easy to deal with. Overall experience was great I would refer them to others.

GS Construction was professional right from the start. Keith, the estimator and project manager for our project, was always on-time and prompt. He was patient and thorough in hearing our ideas and offering input. He always returned phone calls within 4 hours. All workers on the project were respectful around our home. The project was finished on-time AND on-budget. Keith made sure every detail we wanted to finish off the project was completed. We highly recommend GS Construction. You won't regret your choice!

GS Construction arrived on time and actually finished a day early. The crew works well together and everyone knows exactly what to do. I felt that they worked fast but were also very detailed. The crew went out of their way to make sure I was happy with their work. My house looks great and I can't find one fault with anything they did. I would recommend GS Const. to anyone, including family members. My wife is thrilled and believe me..... she's a hard person to please. I purchased a Deal from Angie's List, and was promptly informed by the business that is was no longer valid. That was fine. I asked if they would do the work anyway, and was told yes. They were apparently backed up since one person does siding repairs, and again, that was fine. It has now been six months since that contact and we have never heard back from the company.

I really did like them and I think that they did a really good job. There was nothing wrong at all.

The process was long working with the insurance company, Keith had to spend time working with our insurance adjuster to work out pricing details. The process of getting a settlement took nearly 3 months, and throughout the process Keith was very patient getting us several different quotes in order to satisfy the requirements of the insurance company. The work they did was spectacular, their crew were very professional and would immediately respond to things we wanted done differently during the installation. We can be sometimes very picky about particular things, no matter how small our request, Keith made sure we were happy with the outcome. At the end of each day they made sure everything was picked up in the backyard (since we have 2 large dogs we didn't want to kennel them during the major work). They made sure nails were picked up out of the yard, tools etc was neat and tidy each night so I didn't have to worry about letting my dogs out in the backyard. We are already in the process of scheduling them to install a new front porch as well as upgrade our deck. I would without reservation recommend them to work on your house.

I called GS Construction based on the reviews I read on Angie's List. Keith Vigil came out to look at my house and to give me an estimate to install new James Hardie siding. Keith was very thorough, professional and reasonable with his approach. He did not try to over sell me. For example I opted not to have the soffits or facia boards replaced. Keith was in agreement and did not push anything extra. The materials had a lead time but Keith and I communicated and I knew exactly when he would start and how long it would take to complete the job. He showed up when he said he would and the job turned out great. Every detail was excellent. I work in the construction field and I have HIGH expectations of projects and Keith and GS Construction did not disappoint. Further, I was able to work out a payment plan with Keith that did not put me out of any money until the materials were delivered to my home. I was nervous about dishing out a large sum of money up front-just in case things fell through. Keith was very understandable and had no issues with my concerns. All and all I would highly recommend GS Construction for the installation of James Hardie siding. My guess is that any work GS Construction does would be equally as good but I can only speak to my experience with the siding. Thanks Keith to you and GS Construction a job well done.

I needed a quick turnaround as we are selling our house and he was willing to work within my schedule. Ken was prompt and upfront about his costs, both of which I appreciated. The work was done as stated and it looks great. If I wasn't moving I would hire them again for additional Masonite siding repairs.

Great experience start to finish and never a stressful moment. Work started on a Monday morning exactly as planned. On the first day all the demo was complete and the house was wrapped with weather barrier. On the 2nd day Denver county had to inspect and approve permit and work. During the down time the crew prepped materials for installation for the next day. On day 3 the majority of siding was installed and it looked great so far. On the 4th and final day, all siding and all trim was fully installed. The end result exceeded expectations by far. The house looked brand new and the workmanship was great. Not once was there a problem or anything that got off track. It was a pleasure working with Keith and I highly recommend him and his crew. **the house was a single family bungalow in the DU area and about 1200sqft

We researched a few firms for this service and had on-site interviews with Keith of GS Construction and one with a representative of another company. Keith was prompt,courteous, professional and very helpful from our first interview and throughout the selection of materials and entire construction project. It was done within the anticipated time frame and looks terrific. We are very satisfied with the end result and found the pricing competitive as well. We highly recommend Keith Vigil and GS Construction.

The bid that Kieth gave us was very competitive. The planning and scheduling of the job went off exactly as promised. The work was completed quickly and the quality of the job was exceptional. The job that Keith and the guys from GS Construction did for us was the best. I would highly recommend this company. Everything was delivered as promised at the exact price that was agreed upon. If you are considering James Hardie siding, GS Construction is the company you should have install that product.

Keith Vigil and his staff were professional and friendly throughout my contact with them. Keith came to my home, discussed the work I needed and gave me a detailed (and competitive) estimate promptly. He was able to schedule the work on a day that fit for me in the next week. Keith came to my home the day the work was to begin and introduced me to the staff, who were helpful and cooperative throughout. I am very satisfied with this experience and the quality of the work, and would use G.C.Construction again. I would recommend them to anyone who needs exterior work done.

Everything went very well and I was happy with the results. I had done research on Angie's List for a reputable company that would do the repair and not try to sell me something I did not need or could not afford. Keith was very professional the entire time, returned all of my calls on time, and did all of the work on time and on budget. He did not try to convince me to have extra work done, which I was very grateful for. The price might be a little bit high for the amount of time and materials that were actually used (I think it took 45 minutes and required two pieces of plain trim, quickcrete, and some flashing), but it was understandable because many companies will not even come out for a small job. I was also happy to pay it because they were so easy to work with, and I had the confidence that it was done correctly.

I read the reviews of GS Construction and really liked what I read, Called and set up a time to meet with Keith for an estimate... He was not the cheapest and not the most expensive, but his reviews were enough to tell me his work was one of the best... All of the appointments to pick colors, measure windows, answer any questions , were either done by e-mail, phone or Keith would stop by if needed, he was always prompt, which was important with my schedule, The work started on time, and was finished in a timely manner, Everyone on his crew was polite, respectful, and hard working...from the painters to the crew who did the gutters... Keith went over and above what we ask for, if I needed something changed, it was done, no questions asked, very happy with the outcome...

My boyfriend and I live in Minnesota but have a rental property in Westminster, CO. The house had needed siding for some time and we had finally gotten around to getting this done. I found GS Construction on Angie's List and read their reviews, I contacted Keith for a quote on some vinyl siding, so that I could compare it to the other quotes I had already received. He had given me this quote with all of the specs that I requested within a couple of days and then also recommended and supplied a quote for James Hardy Siding. The James Hardy came in under the vinyl. We have a local distributor in MN and with a visit to them and some more information that Keith supplied us with, we decided on the James Hardy. We love it by the way! Once all of that was out of the way, the concern on how we would handle the timing for the siding project around my work schedule in MN and coming into Denver for the week was a concern. Keith was great the whole way! He kept great communication with us via email, we planned the project about 3.5 weeks out so that I had time to take off of work, find a flight and hotel and notify the tenants of the going ons. Keith expected, depending on weather, that the project would last 4-6 days. Since I was on a flight schedule, I requested that if it did go into a 6th day that they work on a Saturday. Keith reviewed this with his crew and they agreed. Luckily though, they not only didn't need to work the Saturday, but they completed the job early on that Friday, had everything cleaned up and finished and were ready for a walk around by 3:30pm. We plan on moving back to this house in the spring and have many other projects that we would like to have done. Keith and his great crew are on our list for future work. We would recommend them highly, especially for those who are managing things from a far. Very reliable, very clean, very friendly and great communication!

It went even better than I could have hoped. Keith was professional and personable and knows his stuff. He took the time to explain everything to me and even came back out personally to go over the estimate one on one so we were both sure I understood everything. His crew was professional and friendly. They worked quickly and efficiently with a minimum of inconvenience to us. They were very careful and cleaned up.

I purchased the deal in early November, and didn't hear anything from G.S Construction. Eventually, in late November I first called (voice mail) and then sent an email to one of the emails on the provider's website, explaining that I had purchased a deal on Angie's List and wanted to schedule the work. After almost another week with nothing from the provider, I called again. This time someone picked up and so explained I was calling to schedule service from the Angie's List deal and that I had previously emailed. The response was that they had gotten the email, but that they were no longer honoring that deal and that I had to deal with Angie's List for a refund. I'm fine with the fact that there may have been a slip up and the deal may have been incorrectly offered, but they made no attempt to respond to my email and let me know this for at least a week. Had they been professional from the start, responding right away that the deal was made in error, I probably would have still gone ahead and used them for the work I need done. Now I'm left looking for another company to do the siding repair, because I certainly won't use G.S. if this is how they do business.

I bought a mountain home with cedar siding. It was beautiful, but many of the boards were warped and cracked. I couldn't find anyone to replace them at a reasonable price (though you think that would be a business in itself). So having used G.S. to replace hail damaged siding on my Lakewood home with great results, I decided to call them to see what it would cost to replace all of the siding with Hardieboard. To my surprise it wasn't much more expensive, and given I don't have to paint it every four years, I went ahead. As usual they did a great job, and the house looks great. Given the shoddiness of most contractors, its a pleasure to do find a firm that knows their business and does it well, again and again.

The siding was delivered and they started work in removing the siding on the west and east side of the house first. After the siding was remove they started installing the siding on t he east side and the moved over to the west side. Then they remove the the siding on the south side and north side. After the siding was removed they installed the new siding on the south side and move to the north side. They installed Hardie water barrier on all walls and added a additional strip on all seams. All side seams, electrical plug penetrations were calked. I monitored the whole project and they did an excellent job. I would highly recommend them for any siding needs.

I was very happy with GS Construction overall. Keith was very professional in his handling of the project. He did the quote, ordered the materials and also worked on site along with the other guys. The workmanship was extraordinary and scheduling went well. Once they started, they worked until it was finished, about 3 days.

The job went well. Keith was very responsive to questions and requests, including helping with HOA info requests and additional color samples. The job included removal and disposal of old siding, and installation of new fiber-cement siding, trim boards, and soffits. These guys are busy, but they were very forthcoming with a realistic possible start date. Once the job started (on schedule), they completed it without any delays - no unwelcome "surprises". Workmanship was excellent. Cleanup was also thorough. I would definitely works with these guys again.
