I believe I've pretty well covered this question in my answer above, but in terms of how it went "overall", I doubt we could have done much better. Very satisfied with the work of GS Construction.

They got back to us with a quote in a very fast time. They did the job on time and stayed in the budget they quoted us. They finished the job before scheduled time. They did an awesome job overall! We would recommend them to anyone.

Absolutely the best contractor experience we've ever had. Our home was built in 1984 and had all original cedar siding which was falling apart, literally. We initially went to Craigslist and found several contractors of which only 2 were half decent. Our home needed all new windows, siding, fascia, soffits and gutters done and most of the contractors we spoke with were only willing to do only part of the job. If the did siding, they couldn't do the tear out, if the did the windows and siding they couldn't do gutters or fascia and soffits. So frustrating! In one last attempt to find someone I clicked the GS Construction link to James Hardie and filled their online request for an estimate. I figured I wouldn't hear from them and to my surprise Keith responded to my message within the hour. He came out to give us an estimate a few days later and I was so relieved to hear "yes we can do that" to all things needed. Our home is roughly 4000 sq. ft and they were not reluctant to take on such a large project and in fact were very positive and reassuring about being able to accomplish it. The GS Construction crew was able to remove ALL windows, ALL old siding, wrap the house in Hardie Wrap, and install ALL new siding, windows, soffits, fascia and gutters within all our and (James Hardie) specifications and my picky requests even last minute additions such as two french doors. All I ever heard from Keith was "yes, we can do that". We live out in the country, a far drive from town and they showed up on time, every time, and got the job done within 10 days. My home is beautiful and it is well done and was done with my imput which was so important to me. The crew was respectful and polite - and easy to have around your home for 8 hours - they even put up with my 3 and 2 year olds getting into their stuff all the time. Spending $27,000 has never been easier, I would recommend them to anyone anytime, they did a beautiful job.

We knew we wanted a unique look and GS Construction helped us transform our home to be the most attractive on the block. After reviewing several other bids, we decided their prices were comparable for similar work and in some cases less than vinyl or actual stucco. After checking out some of their referrals we decided to see how they could customize our ideas and we were truly impressed with what they had come up with. The process of our vision materializing was remarkable, I can't believe it is the same house. New ideas and change orders were taken as the work unfolded and their suggestions for some aspects of details made a huge difference on the overall appearance. All unforeseen issues were handled respectfully and professionally and posed no change to our schedule. Despite a week of bad weather they completed within the time proposed. It was a pleasure to work with their team and know that at the end of the day they delivered more than we expected and right on schedule.

Service was excellent. Number one, these guys were very price competitive. Do the work themselves and they were interested in what we had to say, creative in solutions, and overall, were very responsive. Couldn?t ask for a better recommendation.
