Wow - James, his son Tyler and Eric were fantastic. They arrived on time and methodically and accurately determined the best, most efficient and least intrusive way to get the job done. They worked together perfectly as a team, were very professional and completed the entire re-pipe in one day and on budget. Eric' drywall repair was amazing, even with my knowledge of where the cuts were made, after taping, texturing and paint, I could not tell where the repairs were, incredible work. I would highly recommend them for any of your plumbing or remodeling needs.

I had an issue with my kitchen sink pipe / washing machine drain that was clogged and caused a backup and overflow into my utility room. There was also a crack in the elbow joint for the pipe that was caused by the backup, which was leaking as well. I called Mr. Ennis (James) around 7am to schedule an appointment, and even though it was blizzarding outside, he was at my house the same morning. James quickly unclogged the pipe, and at the same time found that it was leaking at the base of the pipe where it went into the concrete in my utility room (The prior homeowner tried to mask the issue by spraying foam insulation around the base of the pipe). He was able to chip out the concrete and found 2 sections of my cast iron pipe that were either cracked or rotted through completely. He was able to cut it all out, and replace those underground sections, pour new concrete, and replace the entire kitchen sink / washing machine drain pipe section all within a couple of hours. James was responsive, polite, very professional, and most of all extremely detail-oriented! As long as I live in the front range, he will be my go-to plumber and the first recommendation I give our whenever a friend needs help. I can't thank him enough!

James is amazing! After 4 months of dealing with a terrible contractor I found James on Angie’s List. He came by on a Sunday morning to look at what needed to be done and was back by Thursday to complete the work. He took out the old tub and had the new one with all the fixture placements for the shower in within a few hours. He also recommended a great contractor to do the rest of the work in the bathroom. He shows up when he says he will and communicated well. I will call him for any plumbing needs in the future.

We did experience a bit of a problem reaching James. However, once we were able to arrange for a date and time for Ennis Plumbing to come to our home, the work was done quickly, professionally and for a fair price. We would not hesitate to hire James again for any additional plumbing work.

We had a dripping faucet that needed to be replaced. James responded quickly and came out on a Sunday. We're glad we called as the job was complicated due to the previous owner's installation. He made a quick trip to the hardware store and finished up the job quickly. The new faucet is beautiful and we have not had any issues. Would highly recommend.

In a word, James Ennis is "FANTASTIC"!!! Super-knowledgeable & capable. And not to mention NICE!! I was having a new kitchen counter-top put in, and changing from an overmount to an undermount sink which changed the depth for the current piping arrangement. First, James came over on very short notice to size up my job and assure me it could be done. Then, he showed up ON TIME, BOTH TIMES to remove my old sink and then to put in the new sink and piping. Both times, he was ridiculously quick and just a pleasure to have in the house. His pricing was very reasonable. I've developed great trust in James Ennis, I HIGHLY recommend him for your job, and I'll be having him come back in a few months to do the plumbing for new sinks in 2 of my bathrooms.

Received quotes from three established and recommended plumbing and heating companies. All bids were over $2,200 to install a 40 gallon hot water heater one can buy retail for under $1,000. Found James highly recommended on the internet and BBB and hired him to do the job. James showed up same day. He was very thorough in his work and did a great job. I thought his bid was both a reasonable and fair price.

James was the only plumber who said that working with CPVC pipes was no problem. He installed my new hot water heater from Home Depot after other companies said they wouldn’t. He put in new drains, pipes and fixtures for my kitchen, master bath and powder room. He was a pleasure to work with - very professional. He responded quickly and his prices were great. I am recommending him to everyone!

James did a great job. He worked around my schedule to get the work done. He first checked the wax ring on the toilet which was a likely culprit. When he diagnosed it was the flange and not the ring he quickly got the parts needed and had the problem fixed within the hour. He did not charge for the wax ring as that was not the problem. James finished the job quickly and efficiently and walked me through each step he was taking, I am happy to have my toilet back and ended up paying less than I was expecting.

The window well in my basement was filling with water and flooding my basement. After getting the water removed, I called all around to try to find a plumber to look at the pump in my window well. Most companies didn’t even know what I was talking about. Tyler came over the same day and fixed the float on my pump for free! Thank you! You have a customer for life!

Suspected leak from upstairs shower dripping down through the walls. Luckily, no leak... just a 17-year-old boy who is not careful enough about shower spraying outside of the tub . He suggested re-caulking and discussion with our son. Since we had paid for an hour, he checked a couple of faucets and confirmed what we thought was going on and what the fix would be. Very well worth the money for the visit!

5 star - I had an emergency with a leak (Denver Water was out to confirm) in the yard. James coordinated everything (from underground line determination etc etc) and of course did the excavation. He was right on it on a Sunday no less to do this major excavation. Whether doing a garbage disposal or a major excavation - James is top notch - period.

Great job fixing my garbage disposal plumbing, it was leaking since the original plumbing was too delicately connected. Very responsive and prompt, setting an appointment for Sunday morning even though I only called on Saturday afternoon. Cost was clear and established up front, the work was quality, and James was very professional and friendly. I would definitely recommend using Ennis Plumbing to anyone.

I called on both jobs separately and in each case I felt James did excellent work, explained the options, and when the work was completed he walked me through everything he had just done to verify all looked and worked as needed. He was easy to work with, showed up on time, I felt his estimates were fair (but I did not spend much time working on multiple estimates), and all around seemed like a good guy. I would definitely hire him again.
