After years of using the "big guys" listed online and in the phone book, I decided to try a small firm for a change. I'm glad I did. With Ennis Plumbing, the price was much more reasonable and the response time faster. They got the work done before most other firms could even get someone out to do an estimate. They did a quality job for a great price. I will certainly call again.

James was extremely helpful throughout our entire project. He was able to come take a look at the current state of our bathroom and helped us talk through all the considerations. He put together a quote very quickly and was extremely responsive. His prices are certainly competitive and he made sure we were up to date with every development during the project. James was very friendly and courteous. His work was very professional and his prices were reasonable. He made two visits to our house to install a kitchen sink and garbage disposal and fix other plumbing problems we were having. He arrived when he said he would and the tasks took as long as he said they would. He charged us the prices he quoted even when he had to make a trip to Home Depot to get an extra part. He cleaned up everything and there was no trace left behind. We were very happy with his services and most definitely would use him again. We highly recommend him.

I contacted Mr. Ennis in the morning and requested an estimate on replacing a leaking washer hookup spigot (non-emergency). Mr. Ennis provided a phone estimate but stated he would prefer to come by around 5:00 pm to look at the spigot and provide a more solid estimate. Mr. Ennis arrived punctually, with an assistant, and both were courteous, professional and clean in appearance. Mr. Ennis first pursued tightening the spigot in an effort to prevent any cost (but the packing was bad and the spigot did need replacing). During this time I mentioned the water hammer that was occurring when the outside water or washing machine was running. Mr. Ennis checked the water pressure (100 psi) and advised that this pressure could create larger problems down the line. I requested he include the costs of repair on the estimate for the spigot. Due to the age of the fixtures, it was suggested that I replace both the cold and hot water spigot. He supplied an estimate that I was amenable and I was pleasantly surprised when he stated he could obtain the parts and complete the repairs the same evening. Mr. Ennis secured the parts, performed the repairs and departed shortly after 7:30 p.m. Prior to departing he rechecked the water pressure (now at 70 psi), had me run the outdoor hose and the washing machine to make sure the problem was alleviated, rechecked all of his pipework no less than 3 times for leaking, had me go upstairs to ensure that I still had acceptable water pressure to the master bath, and informed me that if I had any problems to contact him immediately. He also warrantied he work (understandably he is unable to warranty any of the preexisting pipe work. I can say with complete certainty that I obtained top quality customer service, a professional plumbing job and a fair price by using Ennis Plumbing. As long as Mr. Ennis continues to serve the metro area I will not be needing Angie's List to find a plumber :-)

After a substantial water break in our upstairs bathroom, James repaired and reconstructed our plumbing for both the bathroom and our downstairs laundry facilities. He worked with us to identify the best options for relocating our washer/dryer area, moved the lines and brought all the plumbing up to code. He was punctual, polite, and professional. James was in constant communication as the project moved forward and the work was completed on time and at the price quoted. Since that time we have utilized James for several other small plumbing projects in 2011 and would absolutely recommend him. Chuck and Teresa Reilly
