James and his crew did a great job. They were here by mid-afternoon and installed a new water heater as quick as can be. They were professional and friendly. It was a last minute replacement, so there wasn't any time for a consultation or quote. I think the price was very fair, especially given the fast turnaround. This was actually the second job I hired Ennis for - the first was moving a hose spigot and sump exit line. I am happy with the result of that and thought of Ennis Plumbing when faced with my water heater emergency this morning. I would hire Ennis Plumbing again.

James at Ennis Plumbing is an exceptional contractor. I own a Property Management firm and he is the only plumber I trust to do the work for my business. He does both small jobs for me and large jobs. He has re-piped many whole buildings for me and fixed small leaks. He can do it all! He is honest, trustworthy and exceptionally talented. He also is a great communicator which is key in my field. I trust no one else but James and I am very happy and lucky to have him on my extended team of sub contractors that I can always rely on to do a great job. I highly recommend him and I wish I could give Ennis Plumbing 10 stars!

However, their solution to the dripping bath/shower faucets was a $600 quote to take out all the old parts & tile, replace basically everything. I asked "can't you just replace the faucet washers?" And was told a complicated story that basically all kinds of horrible things could happen and it just can't be done. "An old valve like that, the packing could fail and then you'd be totally stuck". A $2 washer kit and my son helping fixed the dripping. Totally. And if his horror story about "the packing could fall out or fail" were true a $7 complete new faucet valve with new packing would have taken care of that. I don't appreciate being lied to, oversold, potentially ripped off. I think of people like this preying on trusting unsuspecting folks and it makes my blood boil. I hope some auto mechanic or TV or computer tech or someone else that this guy needs to trust and depend on for work he can't do rips him off as much as he obviously does to his poor customers. Karma's going to be tough on this guy at some point if he doesn't change. Do yourself a favor, check YouTube about your problem before bringing in a "pro". Just so you have some idea of what is really involved in fixing your problem. You may still need to hire someone to do the work like I did , but at least you have less chance of being ripped off by someone like this. I looked at YouTube after instead of before otherwise I would have known immediately that I was being totally and needlessly upsold

James came out and would have gotten in done in the time he stated, but some of the parts were missing from the box that I got from Lowes. He told me if I can get the parts he'd come back the next day and not charge me extra. True to his word, I sent him a message the night before and he was over early the next day! I would highly recommend his services.

Excellent! Another plumber quoted me at 2500 and 7000$ for the job! James came by and got it done in an hour for 850! He was amazing and so sweet! I will be calling him again and telling my friends about him!!!

Our faith in contractors was renewed after our Ennis Plumbing experience. Not only was my call answered right away, but he offered to come out immediately. I believe this was on SATURDAY (?) – no extra charge! He and his son arrived within the hour & gave us an estimate of $250. They got it done with NO extra damage to our ceiling! This is a personable, small family business with work ethic and a focus on quality. Unless you live on the East Coast, it's rare to find reliable tradesman or craftsman who won't take you for a ride straight to the bank... you know what I mean.

James came out promptly and provided an estimate at no cost and we scheduled the work. He arrived on time and was very professional and personable. He wasted no time however and was able to complete the work more quickly and subsequently lowered his fee. Great guy and did fine work.

James answered his phone when I called the first time and was headed home on a Sunday afternoon. When he heard it was an issue that couldn't wait, he turned around and came right over. He quickly diagnosed the problem, fixed it and had my water turned back on within the hour! He was friendly and extremely helpful!

James is the plumber that you're looking for. He has decades of experience, his prices are very fair and he has the integrity and work ethic that seem very rare, if nonexistent, in the world today. He will come out on weekends and holidays, and not try to get extra money out of you. He is careful to diagnose a problem, and his solution is not accompanied by the practice of up charge after up charge that seems to be the bread and butter of most plumbing contractors these days. He won't find the most expensive fix. He'll find the best fix for the best price. I can't recommend his services highly enough.

He was out of town but offered to walk me through the process of balancing the valve. Less than 30 minutes later, it was fixed! His 28 years of experience in the plumbing field

Wow, what a fabulous, pain free experience. James is a very honest, responsive and trustworthy plumber which is hard to find these days. He came over on short notice, did what I asked him to do and even went to the store to buy more parts I didnt have.If you need any type of plumbing work done, you can trust James Ennis. I am SO glad I found him on Angie's list and you will be too.

$375 for less than one hour labor and $30 part from Home Depot. Rip-off! I have found another plumber that will do it $100 parts and labor.

They exceeded all expectations in completing the repair. they stayed and worked on the problem until 8:00 PM. they are very competent and professional. I would recommend them heartily for any plumbing job.

Showed up on time and was very polite Tyler quickly assessed that our hot and cold water shut off valves weren't just leaking they didn't wok either and needed to be replaced. He expertly went about this. Then he switched out a faucet sprayer for us. Which he actually ran out and picked up.

I had the best experience with Ennis Plumbing yesterday. James was extremely knowledgeable, professional and diagnosed and corrected several issues. He charged reasonable rates and was obviously trying to keep costs down by his suggestions. He answered the phone when I called (two other plumbers on Angie's List have yet to return messages after days) and was going to be in my area and offered to come by the same day to diagnose the issue(s). He was very considerate of my home and property and cleaned up very nicely. He needed to purchase the new sump pump for me and was not going to be able to do so yesterday due to another scheduled appointment. When that appointment was not ready for him he immediately purchased the pump, called me back and returned to finish the entire job. I really wish other home maintenance providers were as good.

Great! I called at 7am the morning after I found the leak and Jim said he could come by to fix it that afternoon. His son Tyler showed up at the time we scheduled. It was a nasty blockage that took several clearing passes but he finally got it completely unblocked. Tyler also shared tips to keep a kitchen drain pipe from clogging again.

This happened Sunday afternoon, July 3, 2016... I had called a few plumbers, none answered. James actually answered the phone, and wanted to know the situation was. I explained the leaking kitchen sink, he was attentive and said that he was busy with another client's problem, and would not be able to come until tomorrow, July 4, 2016... James called promptly the morning of July 4 and arrived by noon. James is experienced, professional, and he follows through. I don't think I have ever had any worker who was so earnest.... James actually called to check on how things were going and wanted to know the outcome of a referral he had made for sewer specialists. He wanted to make sure that I was treated respectfully and honestly. In today's world, integrity, professionalism, and compassion are rare qualities of businesses. It feels good to trust that you are in good hands.

It was great. They were so polite and helpful, and brought my trust back into plumbers. They were very respectful, he was a true gentleman.
