+ -1 moreI think you can tell a lot about a service business by how they respond to a small job. James and his son were very responsive and professional. They came out right away, installed the faucet and it has been perfect.
Description of Work: I needed a new kitchen faucet installed. I called when Mr. Ennis was out of town and he said he would call me back when he returned. He called even earlier than he said he would, and offered to come out right away and do the installation.

+ -1 moreThey promptly responded to the service call, came out the same day actually. We ended up doing some work ourselves. We did not choose to contact or reach out to them and potentially have to pay more money for a potential further misdiagnosis. So we just did the work ourselves. It was actually the previous owner had used the Clorox tabs, and all the flappers had to be replaced. I have to give him credit, he did give us some advice, and did respond the same day. But not super happy about him coming out and just bending a few arms and charging us $75 and that wasn't actually the cause of the problem. He was very punctual.
Description of Work: He wasn't correct in what he thought the problem was, so we could've paid a good amount of money for an incorrect diagnosis. We paid $75 for him to look at 3 leaking toilets. He diagnosed it as being the lever arms that just needed to be re-bent. It was not.

+ -1 moreWe used these people before and they were good. This time We called on Monday to schedule an appt. for a leaky shower. We made an apt for Saturday at 8:30 at 9:00 they called to see if anyone showed up we told him no and he said he would call me back. Now at 9:35 we had to call him and said the worker was home but wouldn't answer the door and he couldn't control his worker. WOW are you kidding me if you can't control your worker then fire him. So I called another plumber and they will be out at 2:00. These people are not very loyal to their customers nor do they care.

+ -1 morePinged James, and with the same info -Texted him pictures of the bad valve, and the setup I wanted to enable me to add a whole house filter myself. He quoted me $300 on the spot and was at my house in 1 hr. Got the job done quickly AND with the extras I wanted to allow me to add the whole house filter myself, at my leisure. The final price was very fair and what I expected to pay (unlike some of the other laughable quotes). He is now the ONLY plumber in my contact list.!!!
Description of Work: was doing a bathroom remodel myself (very handy/competent DIY'er) and when it came time to replace the sink and toilet shut off valves (Old, wanted 1/4 turn ball valves) I realized my house main shot off vale was broken, and would not close. Priced parts out myself, but just was not comfortable cutting into my main line - so went to Angies. pinged a few highly rated plumbers, described my need, and added that I wanted to provide an isolation manifold for a whole house filter. the quote were laughable - since Parts were around $200.

Description of Work: We contacted James who answered the phone while on a job. He took the details of our project which involved re-routing a gas line for a new stove. I texted him a picture and he gave me a reasonable quote the same day. We scheduled a time and the job was done quickly and professionally. He said he'd even come back and install the stove when it arrived if I was uncomfortable installing it myself (even though we hadn't purchased on yet). Thinking it was just lip service and something that people say, I hesitated to call him several weeks later when we did buy a stove. He came by and installed it (free of charge) the day it arrived! He was absolutely fantastic.
