DRYER VENT RESCUE

Dryer vent rescue called me back within a few hours of my initial call and scheduled an appointment. They came into my house, cleaned the vent, and were out within an hour. Sent me an invoice an hour later. Will use again!

Jason was great. Arrived on time, did a thorough job and diagnosed and found a problem with the roof vent blocking air flow which he quickly corrected. We are very happy with his service and we will definitely use him again.

Jason scheduled the job very quickly and did a great job. He not only cleaned my vent but also corrected an attachment problem I had to the dryer. He does a thorough job and I will use him again in the future.

I purchased the big deal coupon. It was fine and they did a nice job. They were prompt, reliable and they showed up when they said they would. They did a nice job and they were friendly. With the discount I thought the price was reasonable.

It was fine. He used a small dry/wet vac. I could have done what he did. I thought he was gonna really clean the dryer vents. I like him, he was a pretty nice guy.

Jason was professional, prompt, and thorough. The vents in both sides of the duplex we are purchasing were extremely clogged (probably not cleaned in decades). I received a call from Jason after I purchased the coupon deal. He came out a few days later to complete. He was very courteous, professional, and timely. He did a very good job and offered suggestions for keeping the vent clean. He removed ~ a bucket of lent form the vent.

Work was done quickly and completely. Jason went above and beyond what he was originally hired to do. I would (and have) recommended him and his work. As a result of his work, I have subsequently hired him for other work, which he completed above and beyond my expectations.

So, I had the washer and dryer serviced and the technician said the we should have the dryer vent serviced. We have been in our house for 22 years, never had the vent cleaned. I called Jason and he asked some questions, one being how long since the vent had been cleaned. I told him at least 22 years. Well, he did not hang up or faint so we decided on a time. Anyway Jason called and said that he was in the neighborhood and could come over early. I had been worrying about all of the terrible things that could happen, so that was great. Anyway Jason arrived and didn't berate me about not having the vent cleaned earlier and now all is well. Call Jason.

The service was fine, but the price kept going up and up.

Well, the man moved the dryer. He cleaned the vent and then said that the exhaust pipe from the dryer to outside was not up to standard. So, he replaced that at cost. And moved the dryer back into position!

I had bought a took from home depot to try cleaning the vent myself. It broken off inside the vent. Jason came and did the work promptly and was able to remove the broken tool. The dryer worked like a charm after that.

Appeared to do an excellent job of cleaning the vent and professionally installed a new vent hose. I was very pleased with his work and would use him again.

After arriving on time, he quickly set up and cleaned my vent. For a very small amount extra, he pulled out my stacked washer/dryer and cleaned behind, the floor and the inside vent. It was recommended that better clamps be used on the venting duct, which I agreed to.

I bought a home with a 28 foot dryer vent run and my new dryer would not work with that long of a run. After researching dryer vents, the dangers they can present and all the gadgets available, I was overwhelmed so I searched Angie's List and found Dryer Vent Rescue. Jason came out within a day or two of my call and gave me a very reasonable estimate to move the vent. He didn't try to sell me any fancy gadgets and he definitely knew his business. Jason did a really nice and professional looking job of installing the new vent which had to go through a brick wall. I would definitely use Jason again for dryer vent cleaning and other handyman work.

Jason Pettner agreed to come on day he was called; actually came several hours earlier, having phoned to say he could. He was personable, and his work was competent and thorough. The price he named for vent cleaning ($75) was attractive. I felt that the additional work performed (install code-compliant flexible vent connecting dryer to permanent vent tube) was overpriced at $50, as was the $5 charge for foil tape and a simple metal clamp ($5).

He arrived promptly and finished quickly. My dryer works much better now!
