Deluxe Roofing was outstanding! Very competitive pricing, very prompt scheduling that was considerate of my tenant's needs and privacy, and very high quality work. Everything was completed on time and on budget, and when I expressed a small amount of dissatisfaction with the performance of one of their subcontractors (the painter), they promptly addressed the problem and completely corrected the deficiency. Additionally, they were very attentive to cleanliness and safety. Compared to the contractor performance (quality, cleanliness) my tenant has observed in neighboring homes, it is clear that Deluxe provided a quality of service that is truly a cut above the others. I would highly recommend them.

In August of 2013, I had one of my properties listed for sale. After the inspection was complete, I was told that the buyer would commit to the sale if the roof was replaced before closing. There was a slim window for this to be completed. Your company was able to quickly process the transaction, supplying the buyer with a new roof as they had asked. Found Deluxe Roofing & Exteriors through our AAA insurance. Greg Hanebuth, the owner, was professional, thorough & courteous. We were really impressed with the quality of the installation of our new roof. Great workmanship and a pleasure to do business with!

Upon inspecting our roof and property, Greg stated to me that, based on the marks he saw on my cedar fence, he thought the hail was about 1/2" in diameter - and that it takes hail of at least 3/4" to cause damage to a roof. The 1/2" estimate was based on the marks he said were caused by the hailstones exploding upon impact with my fence. Based on this estimate, he felt the roof was 90% sound and would need only a little repair work done. Firstly, the fence is cedar. It's a very soft wood. At the time of the hailstorm, it was wet - making it even softer. The hailstones were not exploding upon impact with my fence. They were, however, exploding upon impact with my Trex deck - and I can tell you with absolute certainty that the stones were larger than 1/2". In fact, every news report for that storm states the hail was between quarter- and golf ball-sized (7/8" - 1-1/2") - and it surely did plenty of damage to plenty of roofs in the neighborhood. The roof on the grocery store one mile away completely collapsed and every neighbor with whom I share a fence line is getting their roof replaced. Long and short, Greg based his assessment of damage on his faulty and short-sighted guess as to the size of the hail. A few days later, the insurance company sent their own inspector out and she totaled the roof out - it needs to be completely replaced. Glad I didn't take Greg's word for it.
