+ -1 moreAfter obtaining bids from three vendors, we chose Complete Flooring for two reasons: 1) theirs was the lowest bid, and 2) theirs was the only bid with a fixed dollar amount for the completed job, regardless of hours worked. (The bids we received from other vendors presented us with a price range based on the number of hours the laborer might take.) Other things we liked about Complete Flooring (although we didn't choose them based on these things) were that Adam from Complete Flooring was the only vendor to prepare and present his bid to us on-the-spot. The other vendors, after coming to our house to take measurements, took a week or longer to prepare their bids and e-mail them to us. Also, Adam didn't just return calls promptly -- he always answered his phone, and we never had to leave a message! As soon as we called Adam at Complete Flooring to let him know we would like him to perform the work, things were scheduled right away! The hardwood installation was done first, taking a day and a half. We were pleased with the results overall. My only criticism is that one of the boards in the steps seemed to me to have a slight flaw, but Adam and Dane (the worker who actually did the installation) assured us that it is normal for hardwood planks to have variations like this. The tile installation portion of the job was sub-contracted through a company called Restoration Technologies and Construction. We were very happy with their work as well. Please see the more detailed review we wrote for them by searching for reviews under their name. We feel that replacing the carpet and linoleum with tile and hardwood was a wonderful upgrade, and we love the final results! We had a good experience with both companies and would use them again!
Description of Work: 1) Replace carpet with hardwood on two stairs that step down from our hardwood kitchen into a tiled hallway, 2) install a hardwood stair nose at one edge of the tile floor which is also the top of our basement stairs, 3) replace carpet and linoleum with tile in three bathrooms, a laundry room, and a hallway.

+ -1 moreThey used a water-based coating which meant minimal odor and quick drying time. The floors are beautiful. I would use them in the future, and highly recommend Complete Flooring.
Description of Work: Complete Flooring refinished my 9-year-old oak hardwood floors. They arrived on time, did a great job, and helped me with some "extras" at no additional charge.
