If I could give this business a "0" star I would. Rick and his company built a patio with sitting walls for us in the spring of 2013. Less than a year later, we noticed that the walls had started to "crumble" and noticed a white substance leaking from the walls. In many attempts to contact Rick, he would either say he wasn't in the area, would schedule a promised visit from one of his workers or never return my calls. Finally, after about a year, he came out and "patched" the concrete areas that were falling apart. The next summer, it started happening again, but worse. Rick said he had no idea what the problem was and that it was in the product they used and would contact the supplier. We never heard anything. Various attempts made over the past couple years to have this resolved with recent communications from Rick and photos sent to him. He has been well aware of this problem since the first year. Finally, after much deliberation and back and forth he sends me a text that this will run me $6,500 to fix and could not promise that this would happen again. This is the WORST customer service that I have ever dealt with and would not recommend this company to anyone. Initially, the patio looked great, but after spending over $10,000 on a patio, I would expect it to hold up more than one year. I have given Rick ample opportunity to make things right, but has not been willing to work with us. It's embarrassing to have company over in our backyard to our patio that looks like it came out of a horror movie. All we asked is that he do the right thing and fix his work that he was well aware of literally "falling apart". I am not one to write reviews and have waited a long time for him to make things right, but this has not happened. I hope I can save someone the disappointment. I last contacted Rick in September, 2018 and have had no response other than he would charge $6,500.00 if we wanted him to fix his work.

Went extremely well from the initial appointment, price, scheduling and completion of the work. I even made a small change during the project, It didn'd cost me anything extra and the job was completed on time. Very pleased with the outcome, Rick Brown was available throughout the process.
Description of Work: Added a New stramped sidewalk and stamped overlay and extension of patio.

Don't use Colorado Curb-Scapes of Littleton, CO for stamped concrete. I would not recommend this company to anyone. We paid Rick Brown, the owner of Colorado Curb-Scapes $4,940 to wash and re-seal our stamped concrete. It looks worse than it did before, with white spots throughout. Because he will not return our phone calls or emails, we've filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau to which Rick responded to the BBB that he had come back 4 times to work to correct the job. This is not true. So now we are taking the time to post on social media in hopes that this doesn't happen to another customer. With no response from Rick in over a month, we have now had another concrete contractor come to look at the concrete and explain what Colorado Curb Scapes did to create all these white spots. Long story short, the concrete was sealed incorrectly and needs to be stripped and sealed correctly. Rick knows this and doesn't want to do it obviously, since he won't return our phone calls. I will be posting photos of the concrete on every social media site that I can. Rick is a great salesman but does not correctly re-seal stamped concrete. He leaves it looking worse than before he started.

Problems started almost immediately. Installation was sloppy and we had multiple bulges from poor forming. Rick Brown's solution was to use a grinder which left ugly flat spots immediately in front of my front porch. THere were also were multiple finishing problems, including we have indentations in the driveway from where they left leaves in the surface. We had so much trouble with him that I eventually gave him his money to make him go away. The first crack appeared within 8 months. After multiple calls he finally came out and didn't do anything about it. By 18 months, we have cracks all the way across 3 of the panels and areas of the surface that are scaling and the surface is crumbling. We made multiple call to him but Rick Brown will not come out to even look at it. We tried using BBB but he refused to do anything, and much to my surprise, BBB closed my complaint saying that he "made a good faith effort", which is not true. Rick Brown continues to crow about what a "great job" he did, when the work is substandard and our driveway is falling apart. I have pictures to document everything that I said in this review since I know that Rick Brown will dispute it and say that I am lying. I am willing to E-mail pictures to anyone who wants them or have you come to my house and see for yourself. Under no circumstances should anyone hire Colorado Curbscapes for any kind of work.

Patio installed where terrace automatic sprinklers hit. Concrete not pitched correctly so water pools and will not drain properly. Rick Brown contacted several times to come out and look at problem. No response. I finally connected with him at the Home & Garden Show 2/13/12. He agreed to call the first week in March. No call. I called him and he finally came to look at the patio, acknowledged a problem and agreed to fix. No response to date: April 28,2012. DO NOT HIRE!

The crew came when they were said they would and were done so fast it was hard to believe. The work is beautiful and everything I wanted and expected out of this project. But the part that made this crew so special was an incident with a snake. A garter snake got into the middle of the work and Randy Rose carefully shephered the snake out of harm's way. After witnessing landscaping people go out of their way to kill snakes, it was such a pleasure to observe this compassionate and environmentally-sound attitude. I realize many people will not be too impressed by this recommendation if they hate or fear snakes, but it sure made all the difference in how I viewed this company. Thank you.

Rick's (owner) crew showed up on time the first day. They moved the rock, edging, and sod. They poured the edging in the morning and the concrete in the afternoon. As soon as they finished the concrete, we experienced a torrential downpour. Everything was flooded. Rick came by the next day and told us that he could fix the pitting, crusting, and feathering caused by the rain. We requested that he rip everything up and start over, but he insisted that he could fix it. The following week, a crew came by and put a cap on the path, replaced one section of edging, and repaired the pits in the edging from the rain. It looked like a hack-job, but Rick insisted that the stain would make it better. He also told us that he would "make it right" when we asked him to extend his one year warranty. It has been a month and the stain is not down yet. The edging is cracking and the cap on the path looks like it will come up. Rick will not call us back. Avoid Colorado Curbscapes.
Description of Work: We hired Colorado Curbscapes to put a stamped concrete path going around our house to the back yard. Additionally, we wanted stamped concrete edging.
