small appliance repair, vacuum cleaners
+ 0 moreWe simply went to this establishment to get a new belt for our vacuum cleaner. We took with us the brand and model of vacuum and the part number written on the present belt. They did not have that particular part number, but the clerk gave us another that they said would probably work. Then they made us buy three (said it was their policy) even though they weren't packaged. Well, the part(s) that they gave us didn't fit. When we went to return it, we were told they don't do any refunds and pointed to their little tiny receipt where printed on the bottom, in little tiny letters were the words "No Refunds". Could it have been printed any smaller??? The clerk neglected to tell us this when he sold a part to us that he wasn't sure would fit. Couldn't he have said "Listen, if this part doesn't fit, we won't be able to refund your money"? This has got to be one of the worst examples of horrible customer service.
Description of Work: We simply went to this establishment to get a new belt for our vacuum cleaner. Supposedly an easy transaction. NOT.
