The serviceman charged a $75 service call which was agreed upon in advance so I did pay it. He did not look at the Kenmore clothes dryer, just listened to it and announced it needed a new part which would cost $300 installed. I joined Angies list and got someone else who fixed the problem for $50 including service call.

Please see above. STAY AWAY FROM APPLIANCE REPAIR CENTER
Description of Work: The refrigerator side was warm. I was out of town at the time and my sister-in-law who was staying at the house at this time called Appliance Repair Center. They came, said it needed a new compressor ($1000 plus $200 overnight part delivery). My sister in law did not know that this company is not an authorized subzero repair center. We paid the $1200 and when I returned, I found out that this refrigerator is covered by warranty. I contacted subzero who gave me Tri City as the authorized repair center. They came out to check on the unit. They found low pressure still existing, a leakage and code read outs that indicated a blockage. They are replacing many parts including the compressor that Appliance Repair Center had just put in 3 weeks earlier. I showed Tri City the invoice from Appliance Repair for $1200 and they said that this unit's compressor costs $550. installed. I basically overpaid for a compressor which is now being replaced. I called Appliance Repair, told them the above and asked for a refund for $450 ($1200-$550-$200(for overnight shipping)=$450). I spoke to a Cliff who was loud and foul mouthed. All he could do was "diss" Tri-City. I told him that I was not interested in his feud or his lack of manners or professionalism. I also told him that if I did not see this refund that an Angie's List Posting will be made as well as a complaint with the BBB. He said, I hope we never have to speak again. He is a loser.
