Jim, the owner, was outstanding to work with. I had a few high pressure sales people come to my home, which turned me completely off. Jim was great, no high pressure sales, just gave me an estimate of what it would cost me and explained everything very clearly and professionally. He recommended Milgard Tuscany, which we absolutely LOVE. The windows have made such a difference in our home! Our heating and cooling costs have been significantly reduced, and the quietness is truly amazing. The lifetime guarantee on the windows is wonderful as well. Jim was an absolute pleasure to work with. His follow-thru and concern for the customer sets the bar high for others to follow.

Like a good consumer, I brought in a total of four companies for estimates. Four of them (the ones with the big TV ads) sent in a 'rep' with all kinds of fancy marketing materials and a light box to demonstrate how their windows reflect the heat. And they also brought their best high pressure spiel. However, Jim Everhart is the owner of his own company and came to give me the estimate himself. I got his name off of an advertisement in my churchs' Sunday bulletin. He didn't bring any flashy marketing tools and was honest and straightforward. He brought an example of each window so I can see the quality of the finished product. I was a little leery as his estimate was SO much lower than the big companies...by several thousand dollars. But Jim put me at ease and I know he has a reputation in the community as an upstanding local businessman. I checked out the manufacturer of the windows (Milgard, which are made in Colorado) and I took a leap of faith. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. He personally took all of the measurements for my windows. On the scheduled day of installation, the workmen were punctual, friendly and efficient. The work took two days. They cleaned up as they went along and before they left. They did beautiful work. The caulking is beautiful. The windows fit perfect. They even fixed a section of subfloor by one of the patio windows that had rotted. It's been a couple of years with these new windows. We LOVE LOVE LOVE them. The house is so much quieter. The windows truly work just as he said they would. We could feel the difference right away. The windows are guaranteed for LIFE. I have had a couple of minor repair issues and each was dealt with quickly and WITHOUT ANY CHARGE TO ME. Needless to say, I have recommended Affordable Window Solutions to several friends, and will keep doing so. My neighbors have commented on how nice they are. Just this week I have passed along Jims business card to yet, another neighbor. This was one of the few times that we made a large purchase and NEVER had not even ONE problem, AT ALL. Even after a couple of years. This is so rare in this day and age. We are so happy with this purchase.

It went well from start to finish. Jim at Affordable Windows was a great person to work with on the sales and ordering. His installer Dan could not have been better or more thorough. Very tidy in everything they did, layed down plastic, covered everything. Vacuumed constantly. It was an extensive job as he also replaced all the trim outside. Fixed flashing and insulation issues, Perfect caulking, even re-caulked around my bathtub which is near the windows! I've had several people comment on what a fabulous install and how nice the windows are. Can't wait to see the reduction in my first heat bill.

The window opens perfectly, now. He actually fixed the front doorbell for nothing.

Their pricing was very reasonable. They were fast, efficient and did an excellent job. They were also professional, responsive and punctual. The quality of their work was good and I was satisfied with their service.
