Dan helped us with a hardwood flooring project (remove and reinstall) so we could replace our dishwasher with a larger one. He was on time, very professional and did a wonderful job with our kitchen flooring and I really appreciate his assistance with the Dishwasher installation. I highly recommend his services.

Upstate Built helped me turn an old boiler room into a finished laundry room. I am very happy with the end result. The room looks just great. Daniel was very easy to work with - he listens, he is flexible, he is careful about keeping things clean, and he is very professional. I would definitely use Upstate Built for another project.

My first review was removed. He has attempted to alter his ratings on here. Dan Olson should not be hired. He allowed his large dog into my house unleashed. His dog attacked my cat twice and broke her rib. I had to pay $578 at the emergency vet. He drank alcohol before coming to my house and on my property. I have video camera with the beer can in his hand and the same I recovered from the recycling. He was supposed to come back the next day and never did. I gave $500 for the job he estimated would be $500-600. He never even called him about my cat. I requested my deposit back because I didnt want someone drinking at my house. I am sober. He said ?i am 40 years old, i can have a beer at lunch?. It was 10am. He never apologized for drinking. That past 2 weeks have beeb a nightmare dealing with Dan. He has refused my venmo requests for the vet bill and deposit. He tried to charge me and additional $1000 for the day he didn?t show up. I am teacher. He threatened my school. And said i know where you work. He has lied to Angi mediator about what had happened. Do not hire him.

Owner, Dan's craftsmanship is top notch!! He is simply amazing. So easy to work with...very personable, customer service oriented, flexible & adaptable but mostly he was extremely tolerant of our always changing vision...which resulted in several changes & adding on of additional work. He quickly gained our trust & confidence ,as he made himself very accessible & was open to ideas & discussion. His ability to accommodate us at nearly every phase of our project really made the process enjoyable as things progressed. He never flinched at any of the crazy ideas we threw at him, instead he always had a great solution as to how to obtain & construct our vision. Even more impressive was how he delivered all this on a tight budget. I have no doubt you'll be very happy, should you choose Dan & Upstate on you're next project.
