It went fantastically. They showed up on time, had great scheduling and follow up, and the manager came by after to inspect the work and ensure I was happy with the job. They actually had extra time and did my staircase and hallway, too!

The contractors were 1 hour late! The estimated hours by the company was 6 hours, but the 2 painters did not finish the job in and they just left. About 40 feet of gutters left unpainted.

The best painters I have ever had. The house we were painting was built in 1905 and had a lot of bad repairs over the years. The original bid was very reasonable. As the project went on it was clear we needed to have walls smoothed and sanded, holes filled, hand railings stained and Pappas did it all. The add ons were charged at a reasonable hourly rate and the material costs were also reasonable. Everything we requested they did pleasantly and without any attitude.

I would highly recommend Pappas Painting - Frank, Dave, Sal and crew were excellent. You don't find quality companies anymore and believe me I checked 6 or 7 in the area. With Pappas, you have a pre/post walk through with an assigned foreman and crew. They went out of their way with the quality of work and I'm very pleased with the wood work as well as the excellent paint job. I wish other business sectors could follow Pappas' Customer Service and Quality!

I have another project I needed to do this summer and they never returned my calls. First time was great. They came out, did the estimate and did the job. It was great. When I tried to use them the second time, they did not respond. Unfortunately, the first job they did, the guys didn't follow the instructions.

I was under the gun to get the first floor painted to get the house on the market. They did a great job. They were very detail oriented with the proposal and preparation for the job, and I appreciated that, as I knew exactly what to expect.

Overall we are very happy with the final product. The owner contracts out his painting jobs to various contractors he works with. (At least I know it's the case with this exterior work). The crew we had was courteous and punctual. Good communication. They guarantee two coats. It's important to understand that this is two coats put on at one time with the sprayer, no drying in between. The trim I'm not sure was double coated as I watched them apply one coat with brushes. Certain areas they did hit a second time after further sanding to be sure the final coat was thick, smooth and even. The cost was not too high, not too low. The were attentive to details pointed out during all walk-thrus of prep and then final. Cost included pressure wash, prep, scrap, caulk, prime, paint and painting. (The do have a siding repair guy you can hire prior to starting the job if you need) Grade Overall: B+

Working with Pappas to set up the painting and repairs was easy. They were responsive and patient, even when we rescheduled the job once or twice. During our search for a contractor we got three quotes, Pappas was the middle quote but we really liked Frank and felt comfortable with his team being in our house vs. the other companies we got bids from. We couldn't be more pleased with our choice. We had a team of three men come in and complete the job. None of them was Frank, but that was okay with us as his team made us feel just as comfortable. The men arrived super-promptly at 7:30am each day and were left alone in our home until they completed their work for the day. The project took approximately three days since they had to move furniture around, etc. The quality of the work is beyond reproach. We even asked them to come back after they were finished and do a few touch ups; they were happy to do it even though you could tell they were busy. There was a little paint left on our glass sliding door but I'm sure if we'd have pointed it out during the touch ups they would have taken care of it for us, we just spaced on pointing it out.This was an overwhelmingly positive experience. I couldn't recommend Pappas more highly. Consider them for your next painting job and you won't be sorry. P.S. The Pappas bid was about $2k less than our highest bid so even though they weren't the least expensive choice, they came in at a close second.

Frank and crew painted the interior of our 100-year-old Denver Craftsman Bungalow (about 2000 sq ft), including the all the trim work, baseboards, crown molding, doors, and several areas that needed touching-up from all the other work that had been done over the course of several years. They were wonderful to work with: always professional, courteous, responsive, and punctual. In addition, they were able to do all the minute detail work that goes into painting an older house with precision and, best of all, at a price-point that came in well-below what I was expecting! Going through a whole-house painting process isn't easy, both in work-scope and on a family trying to live through it while their house is in a and quot;transitionaland quot; state. But, Frank and team made the experience as pleasant as possible and the end-result was excellent. I'd highly recommending Pappas Painting and will be using them in the future.

These guys are a class act. Starts with the owner, Frank, who came out to the house and gave us the bid. Suggested colors and ideas as we were marketing the house. If this guy suggests you do something, do it. He was right on and the place looks amazing. The main feedback we got from people looking at the house was the paint, both color and quality of the job. The three man crew was courteous and professional. On the last day of painting (a total of three) my son become very ill in daycare and I had to essentially kick the guys out so we could come home. The crew leader came back over to the house the next week to finish touch ups and make sure the job was done right, at no extra charge. You can't go wrong with this company. I'll most certainly be hiring them for all painting needs in the future.

I could not have asked for any more.First of all Frank Pappas personally and promptly returned my call. He showed up at our scheduled appointment to do the estimate. He is a very personable and professional guy. He said he would get the quote emailed to me by the first of the week and it came in promptly in a professional and complete quote via email. I accepted his proposal as it was in line with others and I liked his attitude about getting the job done. He called back to get the job scheduled and we were able to get a time on the books within a few days.The painting crew showed up on time as scheduled. There were three painters and a crew foreman who came and got them started (and then came back periodically to check on them). They were hard working and very efficient. They were courteous and respectful of the property. Since I was having ceilings painted the crew needed to mask and cover everything on two + floors of my house...which they did with great speed and precision. They obviously were well trained and experienced. They got the job done in less than the two days that were projected and totally cleaned up after themselves without leaving a trace or speck of paint where it shouldn't be. The paint job included masking off some high ceiling beams and they were done neatly and cleanly.I was very impressed with their work and would highly recommend them.

I waited to hear from the company. One week later I still had not heard from Pappas Painting to schedule a time. I called them and was told they only schedule once a week and they would get back to me. When they did get back to me they wanted to come over after other jobs and break up the 8 hours into several days. They finally just cancelled on me and told me to call them back next year and re-schedule. Now I have the hassle of trying to get a refund from Angies List. Don't call this company unless you can wait for a year for the painting.

Since I found Pappas on Angie's List I've used them on multiple occasions to help out with interior painting needs. I actually have them scheduled to do some more work for me very soon. They've been very punctual, reasonably priced, and they do good work. Very easy choice to continue to engage them for future jobs.

Very well. The crew led by Rucino were prompt and courteous, meticulous in their work and cleanup. Tony, the Operations Manager was very responsive for questions or getting extra needed supplies. He or a partner came by everyday to talk with the crew. The house had some serious woodpecker damage. The trim was replaced, siding was repaired and it looks great! Overall, I am very pleased.

The team at Pappas was great, from initial contact, to scheduling, to the actual work itself. Dave always kept me informed as to what was going on, and Alex and Adrian (the painters) were fantastic and deserve high praise. It's very rare for me to say that working with a contractor was a pleasure, but these guys were great. I'd highly recommend Pappas to friends, family, or anyone who asked.

Pappas guys were awesome, fast & clean! The wood they pained looks like new; not 30 years old! They also painted wood panels and doors, everything looks great, and they fixed my ceiling that had a hole in it. We got 4 bids before them and they price was half price of the cheapest bid we received. Very happy with them and I will use them again.

Frank and his crew did an amazing job. Not only does my house look great but they also were on time every morning, cleaned up after themselves beautifully and are even great with my dog!

Why I hired Pappas Painting to paint the interior of my house: 1. Lots of excellent reviews on Angie's list 2. Very Responsive- Carroll in the front office repeatedly emailed back typically within an hour to answer my questions, the owner Frank arrived early to look at the project for the estimate, the estimate arrived the next day as promised. 3. Professionalism- Pappas was not the cheapest estimate we received (although still very competitive) but we very felt confident in hiring them based on how the estimate process worked and Frank's description of his high standards for the work completed by his employees. Why I would hire Pappas again (and have already recommended them to friends): 1. I told them I have very active 9 month old twins and was flexible on start date but once they started, they needed to be done quickly. I was told the job would take 3 days, and was pleasantly the crew was finished the very next day at 3 pm. Carlos and crew stayed until 6 pm the first evening (we were at a family party and were totally ok with them being there late). 2. From estimate to job completion only took one week (although I think I got lucky that someone else cancelled and I was able to take their spot-i had been told they were booked for a couple weeks solid). 3. Communication- The crew was 10 minutes late on the first day which was not a problem because I had already been notified by the operations manager (Tony?) that they had to make a stop for more supplies. Tony and the crew arrived and walked the house and went through all of the fine details to make sure they understood exactly what we wanted. 4. Attention to detail- I really appreciated how Carlos and crew covered every surface prior to starting work. My husband grew up painting houses with his step dad and commented that he felt like he walked into a construction project with how professional the paper/plastic/tape looked. I was also surprised they took down every outlet cover and a few light fixtures to paint behind them. 5. Attitude - Carlos and crew were so nice and easy to work with. I was impressed that when I walked through with the twins, they would stop painting even if they were across the room to avoid splashes going anywhere near the babies. Although I had to look long and hard to even find any "mistakes" at the final walk through, they happily fixed a couple areas I was being very picky about. The finished product totally exceeded my expectations.

Extremely efficient. The quality of the paint and the work was above reproach. The price was more than fair. We are extremely happy with the job. Our house looks great! They were very responsive to our questions and needs. The contact person, Tony, was there to take care of the customer! He was great to work with. The painters were also really great! The folks at Pappas are great! We reached out to them on a Wednesday to get some last minute painting work done on our new townhouse on Monday before we moved it. They were able to schedule a two man crew to spend a day (8 hours) painting for us, using an Angie's List coupon. Chuy and his partner showed up on time and got right to work. They were both very professional and did great work. They did a great job of covering everything before painting to keep all the new hardwood floors clean, paint off of everything else. The work they did on the ceilings was fabulous! They look 100x better than I could have ever gotten them to look. After they finished up on the ceiling there was still about two hours of time left o the deal I had purchased so then did some trim work and a whole bunch of small touch-up work for us. I will be calling them back for any painting work we have in the future that is for sure!

Working with Pappas was a fantastic experience. Frank came out for the initial quote and walked through their entire process. Carlos showed up (actually a few minutes early!) on the first day of service and hit every expectation that Frank had set. We walked the house and the project and then they began the job. We have 2 young kids and the crew was very respectful and accommodating of that. The project took a little less than 3 full days and the crew was on time and incredibly efficient every day. Tony stopped by twice to check in on the job as well as our level of satisfaction as well. We could not be more happy with the finished product. All lines, drywall repairs, etc look fantastic. I would absolutely use Pappas again and recommend to anyone looking to get work done! Fantastic work, process, and customer service!

The representative, Tony came to my home to provide a bid for painting my basement. He seemed professional, knowledgeable and provided recommendations. He stated he would get back to me with a written estimate. I never heard back from them or received any estimate or follow-up. Given their reviews, I thought they would be a good candidate for my project.

Frank and Tony were very nice, they were prompt for the appointments and listened to our expectations. Victor was our painter, he showed up on time and was very professional and polite. Victor paid attention to all of the details on the staircase and did an AMAZING JOB. We're very happy with the work that was done and will definitely call Pappas again. KUDOS to all at Pappas Painting and Repair for a job well done!

Everyone I met was kind and professional. The finished product was great. I would definitely use them again.
