Our entire experience was very good with no complaints. We got three bids for this job. The low we threw out because it seemed they would perform lower quality work. Pappas was our middle bid. We felt they would perform the same high quality work as our high bid would have. So, we went with Pappas. Throughout the entire process, Frank and his staff were always punctual and professional. There was quick response to all of our phone calls and e-mails. Frank did a few lengthy phone calls with me answering all of my questions. While they were doing the work, I reviewed the work each night and made a list of any spots I saw needing attention. I discussed them with the foreman Vince every morning and all issues were always taken care of by the time I arrived home that night. I never found anything that I needed to call them back for once the work was all done. Frank also showed a lot of concern about sticking to his bid price and did. While doing the work, they covered all floors with plastic or paper, moved and wrapped up any furniture in the way and covered anything else needing to be covered. They also worked very well with me when I decided that the original color we picked out for the kitchen wasn't going to work. They went and got samples of other possible colors and painted them on the wall so I could see them. Also, to note, our house is over 100 years old. So, there's definitely irregularities to it. We also used this company for exterior paint work which I'll write a separate review for. They were great with the exterior as well.

My experience with Frank Pappas and Vince was incredible. Frank came out for an estimate within a couple of days after I called and gave me an incredibly great price for the work that needed to be done. Vince and another painter were here for two days to complete the job. They were punctual and worked incredibly hard to get the job done right and quickly. I can't express enough how beautiful their work is and how happy I was with the whole process. They will definitely be helping me with any additional painting needs!!

The entire experience was positive. They met all deadlines, were very responsive. The project manager, Vince Corland, was outstanding. I was very pleased with the results.

Several years ago, we had insulation installed on the outer walls of our older home. Every 18 inches, a 2 hole was made near the ceiling and the floor. We had repaired and painted all but three rooms. Frank and his crew repaired and painted three rooms, including one very large ceiling. They took off wallpaper in the kitchen and repaired and painted. The crew was very professional, timely, moved and covered furniture, cleaned up all trash. Frank even recommended paint colors which were perfect.

Frank Pappas worked with us on the initial estimate to get a scope of work and a total cost that was what we wanted. Frank squeezed us into a gap in their busy schedule, so we were able to get the job done quickly once we gave them the go ahead. They completed the whole job in about seven days (they were working on other jobs at the same time, so they did not have as big a crew as they would have used ordinarily). We replaced the carpet after the paint job, and that left some gaps in the paint at the base of the walls, which they were kind enough to come back and touch up for us. Frank was easy to get in touch with by telephone, and he was anxious to make sure we were completely satisfied. Frank did not ask for any deposit before the job started, and did not want us to pay for the job until we were completely satisfied. They clearly labeled the leftover paint and stored it in the garage for us.

Frank's crew is an outstanding group of painters. I was very pleased with the quality of the painting and the speed at which they performed the work. They arrived early every day and worked a long day. I went to work each day and had no concerns about the crew being alone in my house. The only complaint I had was that they left my house rather messy and did not seem to be as concerned about my home as I would have liked. However, when I brought this up to Frank, his response went above and beyond my expectations and he offered to do a number of different things to make sure I was happy. There will always be issues when you have a major job like this and for me, it is all about how the contractor responds to those issues. In this case, Frank's response was terrific.

Frank was very professional when he came to give me an estimate. He then e-mailed a written quote detailing everything we had discussed, with the price. Vince (Project Manager) contacted me the a couple of days before the start date to set a time to begin. He suggested 7a.m.! I said no, 8 was fine. They were there at 8 on the dot with rolls of paper & plastic & tape & spent several hours moving & covering furniture, appliances, carpet & floors. Then they got down to the business of painting! There were some places that needed primer before paint & they just whipped right through applying this. The following morning they started with the ceilings & color coat. I had samples of the colors I wanted from a different brand of paint. Vince got these samples matched almost perfectly in the brand of paint they use. My accent wall was the last thing done & the paint had to be 'tweaked' as it was way too dark. Vince worked with me on this until it was a more pleasing shade. The painters got busy & took all the paper & plastic off, moving all furniture & appliances back into place & being sure there were no spots of paint on anything that shouldn't have it and all spots that should have it - did. Everything was left very clean & neat.

They did a great job. They worked with a tight schedule. They got the job done quick yet it was quality work. They seemed to be friendly and professional.

It was great. Frank Pappas was so courteous and professional. He even called me the morning of our estimate, to tell me he was going to be 10 minutes late. The fellows who did the painting were so kind and thoughtful. They were fast and did a great job, but they still found time to talk to our kids (and didn't appear to be annoyed). Another thing - they always turned the music down or to a 'quieter' station when the kids and I were home .... WITHOUT ME ASKING.

Working with Frank Pappas and his team was an absolute pleasure, and my house looks fantastic. Frank's commitment to customer satisfaction was clear from the minute we met. I was unsure of the colors I wanted, and Frank was very helpful (and patient) providing advice on both colors and types of paints. I ended up choosing six different colors, half of which were custom colors. The estimate he provided was significantly lower than another company I consulted; after Frank provided the original estimate, I added a few things to the job which he incorporated with minimal impact on the estimated price. They completed the job on schedule and within the estimate (it's also noteworthy that Frank does not ask for payment until the job is completed to the customer's satisfaction). The team that painted my house was led by Vince, who went above and beyond to minimize my inconvenience. I felt completely comfortable leaving Vince and his team alone in my house. They moved furniture; carefully wrapped/covered furniture, floors, and carpets; straightened up before they left each day; and cleaned up everything when they finished the job. Vince met with me each morning to tell me what he planned to do that day, and left me a note each evening telling me what they finished. The quality of their work was simply outstanding. The handful of nit-picky things that I found were addressed immediately, and I was assured by Frank and Vince that if I found anything over the next several weeks, they would come back and fix it (it's been about a month since they completed this job and I haven't found any problems). I highly recommend Pappas Painting and Repair and will not hesitate to use them again in the future.

They were reliable. The crew was phenomenal. I felt comfortable leaving them in the house. They were extremely friendly and great with kids. They were courteous to our space.

Overall, the results were excellent. We're also a great example of a few things going not-quite-right yet; all of our concerns were always welcomed, addressed and respected. I feel this is the most important piece; it's the companies that really go the extra mile to fix whatever might have gone wrong that really stand out. Frank Pappas really cares about the quality of work performed. He'll take nearly any measure to make sure the work is done to your expectations, never asking for payment until everything is where you would like it to be. Vince and Abe were in our house a good portion before and after the holiday season, always on time, bright and early. They were great to work with; very trustworthy and personable. We never felt any hesitation to leave them in the house without us. There was a very large amount of detailed work to be done in our home, and though there were a few very minor mishaps, they all went the extra mile to make it great. Recommended!

You can set your watch by Frank's arrival, extremely prompt and responsive to all phone calls. The project was bigger than first estimated, and Frank made sure to get things done by adding extra painters. Last minute additions to the work were handled with grace. Frank was flexible in scheduling and went out of his way to accommodate our job.

Pappas Painting gave me a bid for the job and a guarantee that the work could be completed within a week, which is all the time I had before I was moving in. They were the only company, to do so. They did a phenomenal job! After having to put 4 coats of primer on the woodwork to make it look as it should, they were still able to paint the rest of the condo and finish, before I moved in on Saturday (they started on Monday). Unlike the only other company to come out and give me a bid, Frank really takes the time to understand exactly what the customer wants and has great insight and suggestions for really making your place look top-notch. He uses the highest quality paints and does the job right, no cutting corners. He called frequently to give updates on the progress of the work, and always invited me to come by and see how things were coming along. They cleaned up after the work was done and put everything back in its place (awesome, because I just had the carpets cleaned).

I can't say enough how pleased I am with the work Frank's team did. They were true professionals in every sense of the word--taking pride in their work and craftsmanship by paying exceptional attention to the details, of which there were many. The paneling removal proved very tricky but Cody was skilled and, in the end, you'd never know the paneling was ever there. They also went above and beyond the call of duty: traveling out of their way to pick up a sample of our shutters which were on order so they could match the ceiling paint exactly, and, when our dog ran out (I should underline this was not their fault), Frank spent the better part of his afternoon helping us drive around the area to find her (which we did!). If only all contractors were as thoughtful and true to their word as Frank and his crew, the world would be a happier place. Hire his company!

Frank, Cody and the crew were wonderful! They were always on time!!!! They were neat when doing all of the work. They cleaned up after themselves and were very friendly, and I trusted to leave them in my home while I was not there. They did an excellent job, my house looks great and I refer them to everyone who is thinking about painting. We could not have made a better choice!!!

My experience with this company was wonderful. The owner provided me with an accurate estimate in both cost and time. He kept me informed during the process. His painting crew is a pleasant bunch of guys who are excellent painters. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Frank was on time meeting me to give me a bid, he was very helpful and offered suggestions. Once I agreed to the bid they started work the next day. The work was done on budget, ahead of schedule and professional. We had one slight problem with remounting a blind but Franks crew came back the next day and fixed it. He is a man of his word. Franks team does very nice work.

Frank was always professional and responsive. He was helpful in choosing color. The crew was in and out of our house in less than a full day. They were prompt, courteous, and when I found a few spots that needed to be touched up, they came out promptly and did the touch up work. I would hire Pappas Painting & Repair again.

Frank Pappas' company did a good job. They were on time and polite and easy to work with. The cost was reasonable. Although they lost a couple of things: electric switch plate and a bracket for vertical blinds, the overall quality of their work was fine.

I WAS EXTREMELY HAPPY WITH THE QUALITY OF WORK. THEIR TEAM WAS PROMPT, PROFESSIONAL, EFFICIENT AND DID A WONDERFUL JOB. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM FOR PAINTING.
