We didn't pay until the job was totally completed, which is not the case with every painting contractor. Would recommend them and would hire them again.

The painters were very meticulous in the prep work which was very important to us. They were respectful of our property and cleaned up each day. I would highly recommend them to anyone and use them again in the future for any projects.

 + -1 moreVery well. The paint crew were on time every day. They worked efficiently and professionally. They also paid attention to detail. For example, I removed light fixtures so they could paint behind them. They covered the opening so the wires would not get painted. You certainly do not see that with most painters, especially in new construction. The final job looks really nice.

The painter was named Victor and he showed up on time each day and did a truly fantastic job from prep work to painting to cleanup!. He was a great communicator as well as a great craftsman. Overall a great experience with a minimum of problems!

Description of Work: I requested a bid from Pappas Painting, and they sent an long-time employee to my home who prepared an undetailed bid. The bid was exceptionally low in comparison to the other bids I received. So I called the owner of Pappas Painting to request a more detailed bid, and I asked that he come to my home and re-do the bid with more detail. The owner ultimately gave me a more detailed bid, but only adjusted the price up a few hundred dollars. When I asked more questions about how detailed the prep work was going to be and the quality of the painting crews he used, the owner told me that he underbid my project and that I should use another painting company. I'm disappointed because my expectation was that Pappas Painting had the longevity and experience to give me their best price up front and that they could provide all the necessary details on the materials and workmanship. Issues of quality or paying more than the original quote would have plagued my project and put me in peril. As Pappas Painting shows, accepting the lowest bid rarely works out.

This includes Grace who setup the schedule, Tony who provided the estimate and support along the way and Chuy who completed the painting. I wish I would have found Pappa's painting earlier as they are a top notch operation that prides themselves on quality and great customer experience.
Description of Work: I had Pappa's Painting come in to bid on a re-painting job for a 2,200 Square Foot home. This included repainting all walls, ceilings and some millwork.

 + 0 moreI cannot say enough good things about the job that Pappas did repainting the exterior of my little 1890 bungalow in Denver. Everything from the estimated to the work being done went smoothly, dependably and with real attention paid to customer satisfaction. The painting crew as meticulous in prepping this old house for the paint job, and paint job itself looks fantastic. Clean up was immaculate. The crew did their work with a minimum of interference, and was just friendly and pleasant to have around the house. I highly recommend Pappas. I had them paint the interior trim of this same house about two years ago. The same comments apply!

From the first visit to our home by Tony, follow-up by Dave, and throughout the completion of the work by Jorge and his crew our job was treated with a sense of importance, honest expectations, clear, consistent and timely communication and excellent work!

They worked WAY overtime a couple of days so we would be able to sleep in our bed instead of a guest room. My toddler son made me rush home every day from daycare just so he wouldn't miss seeing David!

Description of Work: Fall of 2016 (sorry I'm so late) we contracted Pappas Painting and Repair for a upper and lower hallway painting job that included some wallpaper issues. I selected this company because of the reviews relative to walls with wallpaper reviews. They did an outstanding job which included paint on two floors of the house.  + -1 moreExcellent workmanship! Very, very pleased. We had a massive snow fall during the project but they came back anyway to finish so our floor contractor could begin their work. Prompt, courteous, clean, and very professional. Highly recommend!
Description of Work: This was a full house interior paint job of about 2200sqft. They were asked to double prime with Kilz to kill the thick smoke residue kept by the last owner. They also applied to coats of premium paint and did some minor wall repairs. They also removed wallpaper from two bathrooms.

 + 1 moreOur experience with Pappas was incredible - from the transparency regarding the original bid all the way to the work that was completed in a very timely manner. We had the majority of our 2800 square foot house painted. Carlos and his father were on time every morning, kept the space clean, and were extremely detailed in their work. Tony, our project manager, checked in with us daily to see how things were progressing and was flexible when we requested additional work to be completed. The whole project was finished two days early! We will certainly we using Pappas again in the future - thanks guys!

 + -1 moreVery good experience, this company is very customer oriented. We had a project manager that checked in regularly to make sure we were happy with the process. The project started and finished on-schedule and they didn't want any money until the job was done and we were happy. The crew was also great. Very courteous, professional, and paid attention to detail. Every detail was done exactly how we specified and the quality of their work was outstanding. Cleanup was done well also, the only signs of them being there was the paint on the walls. The project manager wanted to come back for a final walk around and offered for the crew to come back for touchups, but none of that was necessary because they did everything great the first time. Definitely would hire these guys again.

 + 4 moreI couldn't be happier with the work that was done. Angel and Panhao arrived on time each morning. Often they stayed nearly until it was nearly dark to expedite the work. They are delightful men and always had a smile. I really enjoyed their good energy. We have a large 2 story house surrounded by trees many of which are right next to the house. Being avid gardeners we were concerned about possible damage to them. I watched these 2 guys struggle to place their ladders "just so" to avoid any damage. Honestly, I don't know how they kept their patience. I wouldn't ever think of hiring another company for any painting project. Oh, and another really great thing.....they provided the most competitive bid we received.
Description of Work: I had the trim on my house painted. Also 2 of the sills needed to be replaced. Additionally on the inside they repaired drywall and painted the ceiling.
