Prior interior job went great - we expect a great experience this time.

We were very pleased with the whole process from start to finish. Frank came as scheduled to give us an estimate for the painting job and he answered all our questions and made helpful suggestions. He was able to schedule us when we wanted the job done. We called three different firms to give us an estimate (we picked the first three from Angie's list) and Pappas gave us the best price by far. His painters came right on time as scheduled both days. He sent two painters for the bedrooms job and they finished the job in less than two days. They took care of buying the materials and everything. They were very careful with our things, they protected the carpet with plastic and left everything clean behind them (they even took their shoes of). They were polite and not noisy at all (I had a 22 months baby in the house and she was actually able to take a nice nap, with them working at the upper level of the house). Then we had a pipe brake in the basement right at that time and they offered to repair the drywall. One of them came back one week later, after the wall got dry and repaired everything. You could not tell that there had been a damage in the wall from before. Everything looked great. He finished the job in half of a day. The price for the entire job was 1259$. I will definitely recommend them to anyone and I will use them for my next painting project.

Frank came to give us an estimate to paint the walls in all the living areas of our home. We had everything painted but the bedrooms and bathrooms (living room, dining room, entry way, kitchen, two story family room, stairway, and hallways upstairs). We had two other estimates and his came in the lowest so we decided to go with them and I am so glad we did. We have a large home and the guys started on a Monday morning and were finished by Wednesday. We had 3-6 guys working on a given day. They covered all the floors and furniture. After they did the walls, I decided I didn't like the ceiling color. Frank was able to squeeze me in that weekend (totally last minute) to do the ceilings and gave me a great price for the additional work. It took 3 guys only 1 day to do almost all the ceilings in my home. Their workmanship was awesome. I am VERY picky about paint lines and their lines were very clean and crisp. The guys working were very friendly, polite, and respectful of my home and things. I am a stay at home mom with a two year old, and while I try to get out of the way, it just isn't possible to be gone the entire day. They were very, very patient and friendly with my toddler and even let him "help" a few times and hang out with them during their lunch. I REALLY appreciated that, as it's so hard to keep a toddler out of the way for that length of time. I will DEFINITELY call again when it's time to paint the rest of our home.

We had not lived in the home for 3 years while we lived out of state and had a renter in the home during that time. Needless to say after 3 years of renters the home was in need of painting from top to bottom in the interior. I called Pappa's for a quote and Frank arrived promptly on time, discussed different options for paint (flat, semi-loss, eggshell, etc.) and asked about our expectations (did we have pets, kids, etc.) so that he could recommend the best finish. We started chatting and it was like have a conversation with a good friend instead of a random contractor. I explained our need for a quick turn around time due to having other projects being completed (i.e. new carpet, tile work, refinishing hardwoods) and our expected move in date just three weeks away. Franks team scheduled us for the following week and started and completed the job one day ahead of schedule. The lines between the walls, ceiling, and trim work was great. It was one of the best experiences I have ever had dealing with a contractor. And Frank said if we had any issues during our move (the movers scuffing up the paint) to call him and he would send someone back by to touch-up. Fantastic experience working with Frank and his team. Everyone was polite, friendly, and made sure the job was done right and on our tight time schedule. If you are looking for a crew that will do everything possible to make sure you have the best experience when dealing with a contractor then Pappa's is the painter for you. I have told everyone I know if they need painting done to hire this team, I cannot say enough good things about Pappa's except you cannot go wrong with hiring them.

I chose Pappas Painting for this job because, of the 3 companies I interviewed, they were the only one's who would replace the paneling and not just caulk it. Frank's bid was not the lowest, but I felt he would do the job right. I did not want the whole house painted because I am selling and trying to save money. The crew had to work around all of our bad weather in April. Due to some miscommunication, the job was not originally completed to my satisfaction, but when I pointed out the problems, Frank came personally to see that they were all corrected. I was impressed with Frank's integrity and work ethic and I heartily recommend him.

I can't begin to tell you how pleased I was with the whole process from start to finish. Frank came as scheduled to give me the estimate and was more than willing to answer any questions I had and to make suggestions. I was able to get into his schedule fairly quickly within a week I think. He sent the bid estimate within a day, and the price was excellent. His painters came right on time as scheduled both days. At the end of the first day they asked if they could come an hour early so that they would finish for sure the next day! The first day I had a crew of two, and the second day he sent three painters out so that it would be finished as scheduled that day. The guys were so polite and worked so hard and diligently that I gave them some freshmade cookies the first day! Most times I heard no talking at all, which is rare when a crew of any kind comes out. One of them...Carlos, I think...obviously enjoyed his work as he whistled a lot! The finished paint job was just excellent and my husband was in awe also. I will definitely recommend them to anyone, and in fact have already to a couple of neighbors.

Frank could not have been easier or more professional to work with. He took my keys, set up a lockbox system, and had his crew in there within a week. His crew finished the job within the time frame promised and did not disturb any of my neighbors in the process. The unit was left spotless! Not even a drop of paint was to be found on my beautiful hardwood floors. I am so pleased with Frank and his crew that I have already contracted with him to repaint a bedroom in my new living quarters.

We contacted this company for a quote to do some interior painting of a home we just purchased. They were very professional, very responsive and showed up right on time to do the bid. Unfortunately, the price ended up being just higher than a local internal referral we had from our real estate agent so we ultimately decided against this company. They did try to help us out and work the price down a bit but it just didn't work out. Overall experience was good though. I have nothing negative to say.

Absolutely the best, most professional painters that I have ever worked with. Frank knows what is happening on his job, has frequent interactions with the owner, keeps everyone on the same page, and does a superb job of managing the project. Not one dime is paid until the job is done and the homeowner is happy. Frank wont even do jobs (like painting my kitchen cabinets cheaply) that wont look absolutely flawless when done, because it might hurt his reputation. Anything that has his name on it has to be perfect. His crew is friendly, clean up after themselves, and also share Frank's high standards. They all, to a man, work hard and get the job done, always taking the customer's needs into consideration. My place is beautiful and I am still seeing all the details of their nice work. Price was fair, not dirt cheap, but I feel like I got a good deal.

We just baught a new house and desided to repaint before we moved in. They completed the work in three days and were very professional. The masked off all of the carpets and cabinets as well as repaired minor holes in the walls, (i.e. from window dressings, picture hangers, etc.) before painting. Clean up was great with nothing left behind to show they were there. If we ever move again, these will be the ones we call first.

They worked from 7:30 to 4 for three days. Arrived on time each day and kept things very organized and clean. Their method of removing wallpaper is amazing as I spent days with a steamer and spray bottle and small scraper on two other rooms.... I am very please with their work and the time it saved me.

We expected a good job, based on previous Angie's list reviews, and the work that was done exceeded our expectations. Frank, Vince and the crew were very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The work was well organized and done promptly and cleanly. An unexpected touch was caulking around ceiling beams which highlighted the beams and enhanced the look of the ceiling. We could not have been happier with all aspects of the project.

I had a fantastic experience with Pappas Painting & Repair and highly recommend the company. I called to get a quote and was able to schedule a time to meet with Frank the next day. Frank's quote was detailed and easy to understand and he made a variety of recommendations that made choosing paint easy (sheen, brand, etc.). Vince oversaw the project and he and his crew were punctual and professional. They made the whole process easy, which is important for a single woman. They moved everything, removed and reinstalled my coat racks, pot rack and a variety of pictures, and did a fantastic job painting the entire interior of my house. And, the price came in right at the quote, so there were no surprises. I am so happy with how things went!!

We are absolutely thrilled with the results and the professionalism of Vince and his crew. Frank returned my initial inquiry promptly and gave a very competitive estimate. He worked with our schedule. The crew arrived promptly and were neat and clean and got right to work. They were respectful of our belongings and just did a fantastic job. They were done ahead of schedule, had me inspect the work before accepting payment (though I could find nothing wrong). Their personal standards for their work are very high and the quality shows. I would happily recommend this company to anyone wanting quality work at a fair price and definitely plan to use them again.

My paint job was very different than what most painting contractors, including Pappas, typically perform. Typically painters paint the siding, trim and provide the paint. Originally I was going to try and paint the house myself in order to save mucho $$$$$. After using a paint sprayer to stain a fence I put up, I determined that it may be better to have a team of professionals paint the house. Paint spraying is more of an art than a skill and I quickly learned that it was out of my scope. Because I had planned to do it myself, the paint had already been purchased. I also had lined up another contractor to completely replace the gutters and soffits around the house, meaning there would not be any trim work to paint. The little bit of trim left (doors etc.) I would do myself. The estimate was not the lowest but I felt more confident with their company than the others I had spoken with, in part because of their excellent reputation on Angie's List. It took one day at most to prep and then they spent half of the next day and another half day after that to paint the house. The place looks fantastic and they cleaned up all of their supplies and garbage.

We were pleased with the high quality and thoroughness of their work in all phases of the project. The foreman and work crew were approachable and responsive. As stated in their contract, they did not apply the new paint until we informed them we accepted the preparation, and payment was not due until we were satisfied. They will be invited to bid on our future exterior and interior painting projects.

Pappas painting did an excellent job painting the exterior of my home and wood fence. I would definitely contact them again for any painting work.

Great but no work was performed.

Everyone at Pappas Paint and Repair was a delight with whom to work. They were friendly, professional, reasonable, and reliable. They listened to our needs and completed a beautiful kitchen ceiling redo that surpassed our expectations. The drywall repair, texturing, crown molding, and painting were done meticulously and with absolutely no mess. Although we had to wait awhile to have the job done, it was definitely worth the wait. Can't imagine using anyone else!

Pappas painting painted my stairway, hallway and guest bedroom. The team did an excellent job, were punctual, clean and very professional. Frank Pappas gave me an estimate and still honored the estimate six months later when I was able to schedule the service. His prices were competitive but his customer service was superior and I couldn't be happier with the work done.

The Pappas painting prep crew arrived the first day and power washed the exterior of the home. The next day they arrived at 8:00 AM and completly preped the siding and caulked all openings. They proceeded to prime and cover, with plastic, all the areas that needed to be covered before painting the following day. Again, they arrived at 8:00 AM and started to paint. The crew sprayed the exterior with two coats before hand painting the trim of the home. When the job was finished, they cleaned up the area around the house, and I inspected the job with the painting supervisor. I was totally impressed with the work and how great the paint crew performed from start to finish.
