It went exceptionally well. They arrived at 7:30 each morning and worked all day with a short lunch break. They were professional, courteous, and friendly. They started the job on October 21st and finished on October 25th. The place looks terrific!

I had a great experience with Pappas. My wife and I own a loft with very tall ceilings so we decided to hire a painter. I found Pappas through Angie's List. Frank, the owner, was very friendly and helpful. The price was very reasonable. The painting crew was amazingly fast and punctual. They originally told me the job would take 2 days but they were done in the afternoon on the first day. Not because it was incorrectly estimated. The painters were working hard. It was obvious they are professionals and they finished what would have taken me and my wife several weeks in about 7 hours. The trim work is very clean and edges have sharp lines (no sloppiness here). I highly recommend them!

They did an excellent job. The repairs to the siding were really good and the paint job looks really nice. They cleaned up when done and left me partial cans of the two colors. I highly recommend Pappas Painting.

FABULOUS WORK!!!! Frank came out to give me an estimate immediately. His price was very reasonable given what I was wanting done to the house. I was having hardwood floors refinished, so painting had to wait. As soon as the floors were done, Frank got me scheduled in quickly within 2 weeks. The crew came out on Labor Day and started prepping. Chuy and his crew were absolutely the best. So professional, punctual and just plain nice guys. They were at my house every day right at 7:30 a.m. and when they left for the day, locked right up. Never worried at all. Frank has chosen a great crew. The guys were working so hard that one morning I had muffins and juice waiting for them to show my appreciation for the hard work they were doing. I think they really appreciated it because there was nothing left when I came home. Everyday when I came home I was so surprised at the difference the house was taking on. I looked forward to that daily. What surprised me was the house didn't smell of paint fumes during the whole process. The day before the work was to be done, with the house transformation about 98% complete, Frank stopped by to make sure all was going well. I conveyed that I was so happy with the outcome and he agreed the transformation was beautiful. The previous owner had the worse, unforesaken dark and ugly colors. On the final day, Chuy and the crew came back to do some touch-ups and get things back in order. I thanked them again for all their hard work and told them that believe or not, I was actually going to miss not seeing them every morning with their smiling faces. My house now looks like the way I had envisioned it, like a model home. Thanks to Frank, Chuy and the guys. You did a fabulous job. I will definitely be calling you again when I get ready to paint the outside and will definitely recommend you to my family and friends. On a side note: Terri is the best. So pleasant and accommodating. Always enjoyed speaking with her.

Overall, Pappas did a great job, and we love the finished look of our "new" house. The crew that prepped the house were thorough. The painters were skilled and applied the paint evenly and with no mess whatsoever. Many of the crew members have worked together for several years; and this made for a harmonious, efficient crew. There were a couple of hiccups, but thanks to Frank Pappas and his crew boss, Vince, everything was made right, and in the end we had a very favorable view of the company. We enjoyed working with a family-run business that took the extra effort to make sure we were 100% satisfied. Issues: Punctuality and communication. At the beginning of the job, the crew was very late each day, and we didn't know why or when to expect them. Vince finally explained that Pappas was working on several jobs at once, and it was a challenge sometimes juggling labor between job sites. After we requested better communication - given this new knowledge - things got better; and if the crew was going to be late, Vince either called, or we were able to reach him via his cell. There was also a miscommunication regarding back-brushing between coats. However, Frank quickly owned up to the error and when the crew returned, they brushed an extra coat on the house underneath each siding board. Mistakes happen; it's how you handle them that matter, so to us, this just exemplified the greatness of the company. I would definitely recommend Pappas Painting & Repair. Speaking of the 'Repair' side of the company, Frank works with a great carpenter, Dan, who owns his own business, DFD Construction. Dan did the necessary repairs to the house prior to the prepping & painting crews coming over. He did such a great job, that we hired him to do a couple of other repairs not related to the exterior painting.

Frank came out to give us an estimate and was right on time, very professional and polite. Even asked if I wanted him to remove his shoes. When was the last time that ever happened? LOL Left and I received an estimate by e-mail that afternoon. I just went with him. Did not get any additional estimates because I trusted him and it sounded fair to me. His painters, Chuy and Victor arrived right on time. Walked through and confirmed what we were doing. They covered everything in plastic and tape. Covered the hallway wood floor with brown paper and tape. I swear, I thought I'd turn around and find my dog totally wrapped up. LOL Unbelievably detailed. I had water damage to an area in the ceiling in the bathroom. Chuy had that repaired with new drywall before I could blink. Fixed a window sill in the shower that was a mess also. I had an accent wall in the master bedroom and water closet. No problem. Everything taped off and neat. All outlet covers, smoke alarms, light fixtures, etc. removed and covered.Ceilings look great because I had them done in true white, so they look very clean. They were a lot of fun and we got along great. I am always learning from "worker guys" and they were more than willing to answer questions. Took 1 1/2 days. Everything turned out beautifully. I am very happy and would certainly use them again and definitely recommend them.

From start to finish, the process was punctual, professional, and done to perfection. I don't say that easily, as I feel I have an overly critical eye. I will absolutely call Frank again when I'm ready to paint the rest of the house.

Frank Pappas and Repair is by far the best company i have ever dealt with; Very professional from start to finish. His men were on time every day and worked very diligently throughout the day (this was a 5 day project). The owner (Frank) even did a final walk though when the job was complete not to only make sure i was satisfied but if he was satisfied on how his crew did. They were very careful moving furniture, and talk about a phenomenal job on the prep work!! My floors were covered like no other, as well as my furniture! Every day the painters were on time in the mornings and worked very hard throughout the day. I received 7 bids for the job, not only was Frank Pappas Painting and Repair the lowest bid, but the MOST professional and courteous out of all of the bids. Good job to them, and i look forward to doing business with this company again in the future!!!

Excellent service. Frank was very hands on ever since the initiat walk-thorough. Very responsive, extremely responsible. The place was protected, no damage whatsoever,repairs were done and the project wrapped up in two days as promised. This is the second time I've used Pappas, and the experience went well again. They showed up on time, completed the job as promised. I even added in painting a 6 panel door last minute, and he only charged me an hour of labor, which was generous.

The entire job from bid to completion went smoothly. Frank, Theresa and the painting crew were excellent; they were professional, courteous and cared about the quality of their work. I would definitely recommend them!

Frank was punctual, quick and professional in terms of giving me a bid and time estimate for the job (which was right on target per the estimate), with good explanation on what, how and when they would do their job. He also only sent me an invoice after I was satisfied with the work, which is awesome customer service. His crew was right on time to start the job, very professional and courteous. They worked with us patiently on the first day to ensure we were satisfied in terms of matching the white color on our baseboard trim, and completed the job on time (3 days) and cleaned up after they left. They also did a run-through with us for any fixes they needed to do. I would highly recommend them and use them again in the future.

I had a couple people give estimates for the work, but I felt like Frank's team would do the best job. After having new windows installed through out the house, we needed someone to fix a poor window casing and trim job. Frank was hesitant to take on the job because of the amount of work that was required to properly fix the trim/casing job, but ended up agreeing to do the job. I am glad he took on the challenge. His crew worked on our home for 6 days. They arrived everyday when they said they would. They were very nice and professional workers who I enjoyed having around the house for the week. They did a great job making the windows look SO much better. As for the paint job, they did good work. There were a few places I needed to point out afterwards, but I am a complete perfectionist so take that with a grain of salt. I would recommend their work, and I would use them again in the future. It did take awhile from the time I contacted Frank until the work was started, but I was fine with waiting as I felt they would fix the poor window trim/casing job that the window installers did.

Frank and his crew were great to work with. Very professional. Always on time and did entire project on time. Even asked if they could work on 4th of July. They did a great job and the house looks wonderful. They did all the moving of the furniture, curtains and stuff of the walls. They covered everything very well and than put everything back when the painting was done. They also repaired a few spots on the walls and removed wallpaper border in the kitchen, it looks like it was never there. I would hire them again and recommend them to everybody.

Frank and his Team did an amazing job. Frank initially gave us a quote last year to paint the unpainted brink on our home built in 1900. He said it was going to be a big job for them, but that didn't intimidate him. We had three other quotes as well. We chose Frank because he was reasonable and seemed to be detail oriented. My wife, who is an interior designer and painter, worked with Frank and his foreman, Vincent, and had him use three colors with quite bit of detail; corbels, porch, detail around the windows etc. We also had some wood that needed to be repaired and had them paint and hang some shutters. Frank's employees were awesome. They worked their A***s off. They showed up every morning around 7am and worked until 5-7pm. Each day they moved everything off our porch and then put it back at the end of the day. Their prep work was detailed; they used quality paint (Benjamin Moore); their attention to detail was perfect; and they cleaned up after themselves. We have had So many compliments on our house. I had a bad experience in the past with painters. One I had found on craigslist (don't recommend) and another was a fairly well known company but the quality (nice straight lines) was just not there. I had three companies out for bids on the job and Pappas came in just a little higher than one bid and about $1500 cheaper than the other one. However, I felt the most comfortable with Frank (the owner) and decided to go with them. They had a booked schedule but were able to fit my job into a small opening they had. His team arrived on time wearing painters whites, were professional, and did an amazing job. I am very picky and after inspecting their work I found only a few spots that needed attention. They were there the next day to take care of all of them.

After seven years of white walls, I decided to have the entire interior of my house painted! I contacted Pappas Painting and Repair, and Frank came out to give me an estimate. I was very impressed with his knowledge and suggestions regarding colors, types of paint, etc. He gave me a detailed description of how the job would be completed, as well as time frames, etc. After having two other estimates, I called Pappas to schedule a time for the house to be painted. Frank even came out the Friday before the painting was to begin to discuss colors, and where an accent wall would be painted! Vince and his crew arrived as scheduled, prepped the house by covering every surface, taped edges, moved and covered all furniture on the first day. They were able to complete the project ahead of schedule, and even had time to touch up baseboards. This was a fantastic experience! Vince and his crew were so professional and punctual! The crew was so exact when painting, as well as making sure everything was done right.Upon completion, they returned furniture to their original places and hooked up televisions and computer. I am so very pleased with Frank, Vince and the entire Pappas organization! I will definitely refer friends and neighbors to them! And it is so wonderful to have color on the walls!

We got 3 bids to get the exterior of our house repaired and painted. We chose Pappas Painting and Repair, Inc., and we're glad we did. I am very fussy (perfectionist) and need to have work done correct, neat and with pride. These guys did what I asked, even I felt a little sorry for them for putting up with this old lady. Don't get fooled by low bids. More important to me than cost, are contractor's attitude, a willing to listen to requirements and concerns. Pappas Painting and Repair, Inc, is reliable and the performance is excellent. Highly recommended.

Great job! Frank and his guys have done a few jobs for me over the past 3 years. They always do a wonderful job and are very easy to work with. It is a good feeling to know who to call when you have any painting issues.

They were professional in every way and took great pains to protect floors and trim. Neat and very good clean up.

The experience went pretty well. They gave us a good price on it and they were really professional. They knew what they were doing. We didn't have to explain anything further. They already knew what they were doing, so it was quick and easy. The staff demeanor was very friendly, reliable and professional.

It was awesome, the guys showed up on time every day and were very courtious. They got to work right away everyday and took great care moving my furniture. Their work was clean and the job looks great. I will definately use in the future and I will recommend to anyone!!!
