Frank and his team did a wonderful job. From the initiate estimate, to a return-trip to revise the estimate, to sending out a very experience team to do the job. When I selected colors that seemed to light when put on the wall, they clarified my intent and we changed the colors to something we were much happier with. We are extremely satisfied with the result and they were incredibly neat while doing the job - far less disruptive than I thought a 6 day paint job would be. I recommend Frank and his team without any reservations and plan to have them back next year to take care of the 2nd floor of our house.

I had been contemplating this job for years and when it came time to get it done, I took 3 bids. The Pappas bid was the middle bid. Frank came over and did the estimate and told me about the basics of paint and repair as well as how long he thought the job would take. He had an estimate sent a week or so later and I decided to hire them. The job started on a Monday and was completed on Saturday afternoon. The crew showed up on time and we spent about 45 minutes the first day going over the basics of what I wanted done, the paint type, the colors, and how the crew would move around my place for the next 5 days. They did not use drop cloths. They papered all my floors and covered all my furniture with plastic. They did the removal and replacement of all window treatments and electronics. They started with all the ceilings and trim and doors but did not displace me from my bedroom or master bath the entire week. They used my guest room as a work space to paint all the doors of which there were 9. This was a big job to do in a place that was filled with furniture but each day when I came home from work all the supplies were neatly placed in one area out of the way and I could easily move around my condo without hassle. They filled in all the cracks in my drywall and crown molding and the lines they created between colors and the ceiling on my textured walls were flawless. I can't say enough about the crew. They were fantastic. They used 2-3 guys each day to make sure the job was completed on time. They were dressed in painter's whites and were friendly and professional. They gave me advice when I needed it and asked questions when they were unsure what I wanted. Chuiy was my foreman and he was so easy to work with. He is definitely a master at his craft. I am so happy with the end results. The morning after they finished I was off to the UK for vacation so I only had 12 hours to really soak it all in before I had to leave. When I got back I found myself just staring at the walls thinking about bedding and art work and all the colors I was seeing for the first time since I moved here. I still do that 3 months later. I highly recommend Pappas and I will use them again when I decide to tackle the closets and utility rooms. You should use them too.

They did a fabulous job! You would never even know there was any wallpaper. I would highly recommend!

Very responsive, from scheduling to the bid to the project. Frank's crew took just the right amount of time to carefully prepare the house, leaving very little mess. Painting was performed as scheduled. Price was more than other bids and what we'd paid in the past, but we had problems with past paint jobs and after nine months we're still pleased.

I met with the owner of the company for a bid about a week before the painting began. I had also met with two other painting companies (that i found on Angie's List). The difference between the owner of Pappas and the owners of the other companies was his honesty and ability to describe, in detail, exactly what a painter should accomplish at a job site. None of the other owners gave details without me asking first (and of course, I didn't know the right questions to ask). WIth Pappas Painting, I didn't have to ask the right questions, he was upfront and honestly walked me through the entire process. They did a great job! They did not get paint on any of the brick, sidewalk, patio, driveway, etc. and they paid attention to all details. They asked me before doing anything different than what we had originally planned and made valid suggestions without bullying us for choosing something different than suggested. Also, they bid our house and fence for the same price that another competitor bid just our house.I have already recommend Pappas Painting to our friends!

In the past four years Pappas has painted two complete interiors for us. They have also completed two minor exterior jobs. We can't say enough positive about Frank, Vince and gang. Excellent work, friendly guys, they do the work when they say they will in the time frame provided, ZERO B.S. all at reasonable prices. When I needed our current home painted I didn't even shop around, I speed dialed Vince (seriously his number programmed in my phone!) We highly recommend Pappas painting!

They responded immediately to my email to set up a time to get an estimate. He showed up on time for that appointment. They accommodated my time frame to complete the painting before I moved in which required scheduling for the next week. They arrived on time on the start day, before I needed to leave for work. They stayed late and worked through the night on the last night so that the job would be completed. To top it all off, the quality of the job was excellent. Incredibly clean lines. The best paint job I have ever seen. I would not hesitate to hire them again.

I initially hired Pappas Painting and Repair to paint the master bedroom. After seeing the quality of their work, their eye for detail, professionalism, and punctuality, I hired them to paint the interior, and then a month later, when the weather improved, paint the exterior. On both occasions, I had two separate crews. They all have been trained well. It is obvious they take pride in their work. They were excellent at prep work and replacing rotted wood in areas that had deteriorated. Without hesitation, I would recommend this company. Their service is exceptional.

Crew was prompt each morning at 7:30. The foreman, Vince, was on the job almost every day. They did a great job, were very professional and polite. There were a few areas that needed touch up and Vince came back right away to fix those. Vince was very helpful in choosing paint colors. One area that was done in the white trim unfortunately turned pink due to lack of light in the area. The painters helped to solve the issue by repainting a small portion in another color. It looks great now. Frank visited the job a couple of times and was very responsive to my issues. They were there almost two weeks but it was a very big job and they took their time and did it right. The crew due to their professionalism made a time of dread very bearable. Very happy with result.

I used this contractor 2.5 years ago and they did a great job. So when I needed more work, I hired them again.They did an excellent job in the short time frame available, and were great to work with.

Pappas Painting and Repair is FANTASTIC! From the first phone call to clean-up, they were courteous and professional. All of the details of the job are well thought out and efficiently executed. Pappas Painting covers the entire floor to make sure floors are protected. The painters also covered all furniture, removed electrical plates and vents before painting.I really cannot say enough positive things about the outstanding job they did. They were so respectful and considerate of my home. Before I left for the day, they asked me if I would like some of the furniture uncovered for use that night, as this was going to be a two-day job. I had left out my Keurig machine, along with cups, spoons, sugar and cream (inside a bowl filled with ice) so they could have coffee during the day. That evening I arrived home about seven, so they had already left. On my way home, I wondered if they would have left those things out. I was so impressed that they had not only put the cream back in the refrigerator, but had washed all of the cups and spoons, too. From setting an appointment, to the estimate, to the finished product, everyone was so friendly and responsive. It worked out really good. They did a great job and we are going to hire them again to do the outside. They were easy to work with and their price was fair. They showed up on time and were detail oriented. They did what they said they would. I will use them again.

They were prompt, courteous, cleaned up after themselves, and did a great job. They also repaired a section of the "popcorn" ceiling which had started to peel.

They were wonderful. They were so good. They were so professional. I have never worked with a painting company and they just took over and they knew what to do and how to do it and they did it. They did it within a week. It was just wonderful. I just can’t express how great it was. I would recommend them to people.

Pappas did such a great job painting the upstairs of our new home, we had them back to paint our basement and do some repair work. The team of Carlos, Carlos, Rich and Vince were professional, friendly, hard working and really know what they are doing. They transformed a not very nice looking area into one that we enjoy spending time in by painting, along with some very well done drywall and baseboard work. I really appreciated their helpful and expert suggestions when I had decisions to make. Highly recommend Pappas and will use them again! Thank you!

It went very well. The carpenter was excellent and provided quality craftsmanship. The painter did a good job. I'm really happy with the outcome and I feel fortunate that I found Pappas Painting on Angie's list and I will use them again.

Okay, these guys are fantastic. I got two bids, and I am so glad I chose Pappas!! They started the job while I was out of town and when I came back and saw the color, I decided it was too green. I asked them to stop work so I could re-think my color scheme, knowing that I'd probably have to wait a few weeks before they would be able to fit me in again. The owner actually called me and proposed giving me a week and then having them start over the following Monday. He was totally understanding, and when I said I knew it would cost me more, his response was that he'd cut me a discount on the work. He said he wasn't that concerned with the money as long as I was happy and as long as he didn't actually lose money on the deal. He actually had his guys do all the work they could do (beams, bathroom - which was a different color - etc) before stopping, and then once I figured out the final paint color, they came back and hammered out the re-paint in no time! They did a fantastic job and worked ridiculously fast. I love that. You can't see any of the holes they patched, the beams look beautiful, and the whole job looks as if it was done by a perfectionist. The guys who did the work were super nice. And the final bill was MORE than agreeable to me! I am just beyond impressed and happy with my choice. If I ever have painting done again, it will be with Pappas.

Everything went fine. Vince did a great job rehabilitating our 1960s staircase after we had removed some carpet. We're very happy with the end product.

They did really, really well. Their people were spot-on. They did a beautiful job taping off everything. They didn't drip anywhere, either. They moved to the furniture to the center of the room and put dropcloths over it. They did a really professional job. There was no bleed through, nor any run spots. The edges are razor sharp, and they did a great job on my rounded edging on the walls.

From quote to completion of the job, everything went great. They were very responsive and got me a quote quickly. Pappas?quote was a little lower than my other quote but that wasn?t what made my decision. During the initial walk through for the quote, it was clear that Frank had a keen attention to detail that I very much appreciated. And, he was very helpful in making suggestions that would improve the appearance of my home. That attention to detail carries through to his crew. Thanks to Vincent, Vil, Eddie, Christian and all who worked on our home ? it looks wonderful. They were all very professional and personable from start to finish.

My experience was great. I wanted the painting done before furniture was delivered. They were booked out over three weeks but able to meet my deadline because they worked Saturday which is not usual for painters. They were very courteous and efficient. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

We contacted a few providers and received bids from them all. Pappas Painting was the most responsive of them all. Frank came by and was very honest about what needed to be done and what didn't. We were thinking we had to re-paint all the ceilings, walls, trim but he pointed out that a lot of our ceilings and trim were in very good condition and really didn't need paint. In the midst of getting bids, we were in the middle of remodeling the house and we desperately wanted some color on the wall so trying to schedule asap. However, Frank explained how to be efficient and also keep our costs down for painting that they should come in near the end of the remodel but before new carpet. This made sense and just took some patience to wait awhile longer for paint. It's refreshing to have a company who is really suggesting the best plan for you rather than try to make every last dollar off of you. The day finally arrived and Chuey and his crew arrived on time at 7:30am. They were very courteous and very careful with all the items they had to move. In each room that had furniture and other items, they moved it all to the center and protected it with plastic. In our master bedroom, which was a 2 day project, they made sure to move our bed and furniture back so we could sleep in there at night. We had some hardwood getting put in at the same time and Chuey's crew worked around them well. We added staining our new stair handrail and treads to the bid. Chuey was great in working with us making sure we were happy with the stain color being used and what the final product was going to be. The crew worked hard all week and patched up any drywall that needed work as well. Chuey and his brother even came back on Saturday to wrap everything up and make sure everything was to our liking. In the end, absolutely everything turned out amazing and we could not be happier. The entire process was enjoyable and easy. We would high recommend Pappas Painting. We'll definitely be calling them again as we have more projects to come.

they are very easy to work with throughout the process, easy to contact and responsive to requests/questions. the people on site were very pleasant and seemed to go out of their way to ensure everything was taken care of to our satisfaction before they were done. i did not have to call them back for anything with the exterior project, and a few missed spots on the interior were taken care of quickly. they are middle to lower end of the pack as far as costs, and obviously we've used them twice now, so will probably just continue to use them for any future needs.
