+ -1 moreThe job went very well. It was painless and took only a few hours. The young men were very polite, considerate, and clean. Sometimes household decisions often require too much comparison, research, and haggling. This was simple -Our home and inhabitants could benefit from the proper amount of insulation. The cost was reasonable and the value gained will be felt indefinitely. My utilities add up and the monthly cost can seem unreasonable, especially during certain seasons. I like knowing that I've done all I can to control that. Each household should consider their environmental footprint and try to minimize it when possible. Not only does properly insulating your house keep your heat/air in your house and out of the atmosphere, but the product used to insulate is recycled paper. After seeing the work being performed and feeling the difference, our neighbors are talking about having their attic evaluated. A+!
Description of Work: Examined my attic. Measured existing insulation depth and overall coverage. Took note of areas that should be sealed to maximize our homes insulation. Provided a quote based off the work required, the estimated amount of time and material, and travel costs. The work resembled the quote where drafty cracks and seams were sealed, measures were taken to keep ventilation and fire safety up to snuff, and the correct amount of insulation was added to adequately spread to provide our home with the proper insulating potential. After it was all said and done the area beneath my attic hatch was well cleaned of any attic debris.
