I made the mistake of having Dust Bunnies come to my home. First, I was not a livingsocial deal (like that should make a difference?), I have no pets and my house has been professionally cleaned every 2 weeks for 10 years. My existing company had hired someone who was careless and broken a few of my things, so was trying a new company with the emphasis on CAREFUL. While Melissa was very friendly, the following outlines my ONE experience with them: 1. on her initial estimate visit she pointed out areas that were in need of cleaning and how inferior my existing service was because they were overlooking that and she could do better. She also indicated they only use green products that she makes and that I would always know the cleaner who would be in my home. She emphasized how careful they are and that I would be made aware of anything damaged. 2. While she was at my house, she took a call from her General Manager, a guy who I could hear yelling and freaking out on the phone about a client issue, I ignored it and hired her. 3. The first day they were supposed to come, they forgot - she didn't call me to explain etc.. I left a msg and the guy called me back and rescheduled. No remediation for the inconvenience. 4. The rescheduled time they were coming the cleaning gal called and told me she was lost and running a little late (she was very nice) 5.She called me to tell me when she was leaving my house and in that conversation mentioned that the guy manager had come to assist her in cleaning my home (I was a little surprised by this as no one had told me he would be there) 6. Upon returning home, I checked ALL those overlooked spots that Melissa had pointed out and not one had been cleaned. My house had never looked dirtier after a professional cleaning. 7. They skipped my pantry room and laundry room (which is the garage entry to my house) entirely - no one touched them 8. I found a can of pledge in my basement they left behind (not sure when that was added to the 'green' list of homemade products) 9. When I went to straighten a tapestry on my dining room table, I almost fainted. one of a kind silk gift from Vietnam - they obviously got something on the silk fringe of the tapestry and instead of telling me about it, they CUT the fringe on both sides to cut out whatever they got on it and ruined it - never mentioned it to me in the phone call. 10. I left a message to cancel any further services and she nor anyone else called me back to find out why. So don't bother to now - be thankful I am only leaving you a bad review and not suing you for the damage in my home.

[Member name removed], At first I actually had to look up who this was as we have not had a customer with that address. Turns out we cleaned for this customer 1 time way back in April of this year. Way back then. There are a couple things I must address before really properly answering this as there are several things that are well flat out lies. 1 is we don't have a general manager who is a guy at all. Never have. Nor would I EVER take a phone call while in a customers home. Not true at all. Also... we have never had any male managers that would go and clean with one of our girls. We have male cleaners but not at that time so that is 100% not true and it's weird the lengths she is going through to say these things. IF there was pledge in your home it was yours. I make our polish so again no idea on this. The person who cleaned your home the 1 time we cleaned for you was our best person that never gets complaints. Never. In fact, she has the biggest following of customers out of all of my girls. Then for the curtain of yours that you say we not only damaged but then cut? No. Not true at all either. We have insurance for the "oops" moments in cleaning and if that was a valid thing that happened they are trained and comfortable with reporting it as we have insurance for that. There would be no fear or worry about telling me. Why didn't they? Because it didn't happen. We take all reviews seriously and will always go that extra mile to make sure that everything is done the right way and if there is a mistake we take care of it 100% of the time. That home, as I went there to check in on that particular home, never looked better. Before all of the details were missed from the prior cleaning company. This review is in it's entirety is not true. The only truth to this review was that we actually went there to clean. Everything else is just slander. Not sure if she is doing this for her old cleaning company or what but this is 100% false and I will ask Angie's List to take it down.

Dust Bunnies crew showed up at my home REEKING of cigarette smoke. Not a subtle smell -- more like someone had been chain smoking in a closed in space for several hours. When I contacted the owner/manager about this and looking to reschedule for Thursday of the same week with an alternate crew, I was told they couldn't accommodate that and that they don't give refunds. Her response also included a comment that it was "weird" that the crew smelled like smoke. No, it wasn't weird. It was offensive. Sending someone to my home to clean it "with Eco Friendly Supplies" when they smell like they've been in a bar filled with active smokers for hours and hours is not okay. Highly discourage anyone from purchasing the Angie's List Deal from this Vendor.

Nora purchased the Angie's List deal with us and we were so excited as we have had great luck with it. We have converted every single person who has purchased one that was looking to hire. So slam dunk! She emailed us asking for 2 different days/times. We told her then (over a week ago) that for that particular week Thursday was not available. Most Thursday/ Fridays for us are booked as they are popular days. So we scheduled a 1pm arrival time for Monday. The girls showed up and rang the door bell and since no one answered they knocked as well. She came to the door cursing at them saying "didn't you hear my ****ing dog?" I know you are here. Then it went all downhill from there. One of the 2 girls smokes and I guess she didn't have enough common sense to not smell like it. We spoke to her regarding this as I myself cannot stand that smell. We contacted Nora right after this trying to schedule for Tuesday/ Wednesday as on the Angie's List deal it says NO REFUNDS on it. She didn't even try to make either one of those dates work. She was impossible to deal with as we were trying to reschedule with her, we apologized for them smelling like smoke as that is gross. But nothing. We were on her side and the deal she purchased doesn't expire either so one would think that you could just use it some other time right? Instead she decided to leave a review when she didn't even try our service. Didn't give us a chance to fix it. We will always bend over backwards to accommodate people but if we are booked on a day, we are booked.

100% no show. The wife took the day off of work to accommodate the cleaners. We had a scheduled cleaning at 9AM and by 10am no one shows. Wife gets a call stating that they are running late and wouldn't be able to show up until 1:30pm (at 9AM already late? and by 4 hours even?). That was acceptable as she had taken the entire day off of work. Well, 1:30pm comes and goes, 2pm, 3pm, 4pm, no show, and not even any phone calls, emails, or attempts to contact her to let her know it either was going to be later or need to be rescheduled. A day off of work for nothing and still a dirty house. I truly hope that this review helps others and perhaps even makes it back to the owner because this lack of customer care and service is deplorable. Now Melissa (Owner) is claiming she has never heard of us nor has a contract with us, but the 3 emails and phone calls, (one of them even asking how to make things right), on the day the appt. was missed clearly discount that lie. Customer service is king. Disappointed family in Denver.

This person purchased a Living Social voucher, well actually his wife did, and they scheduled the appointment. We went to the home address given and my employee misread her schedule and simply showed up at the wrong house. Simple, honest mistake right? Well since we are a small business I was in the field for most of that day and when they called the office they refused to speak to our Route Manager but sent an email saying how disappointed they were that we didn't show up. But instead of letting us fix this they quickly went on Yelp and left 1 star reviews. Not just the husband but the wife too. They didn't even let us respond to try to fix it. We did respond trying to fix the issue but saw that they had already left terrible reviews on Yelp. They even went as far as to say that I hate Russians. A unjustified, random comment. I called Living Social myself and told them to give them a refund as I didn't want to help people that are looking for a fight. When I sent the email to them I apologized for this, as it was terrible for sure. But they were not/ clearly are not interested in a resolution. Literally within 30 minutes of emailing me complaining they had the reviews all over the Internet. Most of the Living Social customers we have encountered have not been the best of people. This is an example of that. As you can see from all of my other reviews... we are a solid company that prides itself on our customer service and the longevity of those customers. There are people that you cannot make happy no matter what. This is a case of that.

I hired Dust Bunnies through a promotion and was very impressed with their work. Liz and Chris came out to do the cleaning. They were more detail oriented than any other cleaners we have used. They moved things above cabinets in kitchen and cleaned above fridge. They cleaned the floor by hand. They cleaned the way I did before two children! They were also very personable. We are choosing to continue hiring them:)
Description of Work: A two person team came out to clean for 1.5 hrs (or 3 man hours). They asked what I wanted done and I told them my priorities were the laundry room floor first (where cat litter is), floors in general and then dusting. So, they cleaned the master bath, tile floors in kitchen, bathrooms & laundry room, kitchen counters, above cabinets and fridge in kitchen. My first priority was the laundry room floor which I'll admit they forgot about, but then quickly cleaned when I reminded them.

The team of two ladies arrived on time (which was 6:30 am) and worked hard ALL day - a total of 16 work hours. They were meticulously attentive to detail, kind and understanding, wonderful with my 3 dogs, 2 cats and 3 children and gave the house a new lease on life! Edwina even said that she wanted to do more work to make it "perfect," which really impressed me! She is also the first person I have hired who knows how to properly care for hardwood floors. Both she and Jessica cleaned things I never would have even considered myself. The fact that they are willing to even clean litter boxes is a huge benefit to me as I am on immunosuppressant medication and cannot do it myself. The ladies from Dust Bunnies put me at ease in every possible way. I look forward to having them clean my home for a very long time.
Description of Work: Complete house cleaning, including dishes, massive amounts of laundry, cleaning cat boxes, scrubbing floors, detail cleaning everything, and bringing sorted laundry upstairs to be put away.

This has been a very positive experience and I will continue to retain this company as it has been such a change in quality of life for my family.
Description of Work: I would estimate that I've been utilizing the services of Dust Bunnies for approximately two months on a bi-weekly basis. I have also asked Melissa to squeeze me in to her schedule for additional work if I'm having a party, for example. My experience has been that Melissa has always accomodated my scheduling requests. I chose this company over the other companies that I interviewed because of their flexibility. Many of the other companies would not do any 'maid service' such as changing linens, but Melissa makes no distinction between maid services and cleaning services, which is so helpful. I ask for a specific person each time and she is the one that has always arrived and I give her a list of, sometimes quirky, items that I would like cleaned and she does it thoroughly. She also is pleasant and the tone of the house is very nice when she is here. She is friendly and personable, and yet still goes about her work. I trust her implicitally and I now have a calmness and organization to the house because I found Dust Bunnies. The work is consistent and stellar each and every time. I hope this helps with your decision. Give them a try - I am happy that I did.

During my first meeting I was told by Melissa that it would take 5-6 hours. But the two ladies that came informed me it would only take 3. I got the feeling they werent in the mood to do their job but i decided to wait and see what the outcome would be. I was right. The extras that were promised were never done. They blatantly ignored their duties in order to get done in their time frame. So I talked to Melissa. I told her the house was clean but the extras were not done and also areas were missed like the counter tops and bathroom floor. She said she was shocked by what they didn't do and that her customers love her and so she would send someone back to clean the areas they missed. Instead under my preference we agreed that she would send someone else to come and do the complete clean again two weeks later and at that time i would pay the $90.00 regular fee and they would do the extra work that I already paid for. I specifically told her that I did not want the same two ladies. I told her that I did not trust them in my home because they knew that I was paying for an extra clean and they chose to only do what they wanted to do. To me this is stealing. What I didnt tell her was that they also made a bad remark about Melissa saying she had a bad memory and didnt know what she was talking about. That was another red flag to me about their character. So two weeks later on our next appt the cleaning ladies showed up 30 minutes late AND sent one of the SAME girls from before. I was very upset. I had made it clear to Melissa that I didnt want them in my home. It offended me that she would ignore my request. So I told them to leave without having them clean. I called Melissa but she never returned my call. Instead I got an email. Melissa made excuses saying that one of the girls called in sick and they only had this other girl to fill in for her. I felt that she should have called me first to ask me if I was comfortable with the change. I would have rescheduled. Melissa also told me that she felt I hadnt given her compamy a chance. I disagree. When I asked for a portion of my money to be returned to me believing that I shouldnt pay more than the normal fee of $90.00 she told me that she would charge me an extra $10.00 for HER inconvenience. I am truly horrified by her excuses, false promises and finally the $10.00 charge.
Description of Work: The owner of the company, Melissa, came to my home for an estimate. She told me she would charge me $150.00 for the first clean promising to do a full out clean including floor boards, windows blinds, etc. So we scheduled for a clean. The two ladies that came to do the job had in some places not bothered to move items in order to clean under. My master bedroom they ignored the blinds and window sills and in the master and guest bathroom wiped around things but didnt bother to pick up and move them. Ignored the floor boards all together. Cleaned the kitchen but again wiped around some of the things. My guest bathroom was barely mopped and It looked like they ignored the tub all together. They didnt clean any of the floorboards where i checked. They did vacuum and clean overall. In fact the shower was done well. But I was told to pay extra (usual clean is $90.00) for the first clean and they would do the regular clean and more. The more never happened.

In response to this I am really shocked to see what she wrote. Not only because it is all COMPLETELY false but that she would attack me on a personal level making up stories about my girls talking badly about me. How random and hateful. We cleaned the member's home once and did the deep clean. I sent 2 girls and they were there a total of 7 hours, not 3, as she said and they did a great job. This came from her mouth. The did, however, miss 3 things from what she said which were 2 blinds and a bathroom floor. She called me to complain about this and I offered to come back that week, free of charge of course, and fix those as we stand by our work always. She said she was overall happy with everything and that it wasn't necessary. She would just see us in 2 weeks. So her next cleaning came and I sent 2 girls again when her home is really only a 1 person home. I did this to make sure that everything was 100% to go above and beyond for her and my girls get there and she slams the door in their face and yells at one of the girls. She was so rude to my girls that one of them called me really upset about how she was being. ?? We did everything right and I know that because she said so, so this F rating is not only surprising but it's just slander. Our customers are everything to us and that's why we keep them for along time.
