We moved into our brand new home in April, 2014. We hadn't even made the first payment when a severe hail storm went through the area and damaged many homes. Of course there were many storm chasers that day looking to score new customers and feed on emotions. I had someone in my driveway when I got home from work (the hail had not even melted). After telling about a dozen of them to pound sand and get off of my property I ran into Rick. He happened to be meeting my neighbors who were not home at the time. We got to talking and he told me about their company. He offered just to take a quick look on my roof and would be willing to take me up and show me the damage as well. We went on the roof and he pointed the areas that the storm had damaged (pretty much the whole roof). He then mentioned that there were several code violations on my new roof (the house was BRAND NEW). So I did some research and sure enough the roof somehow passed code but I don't know how given it clearly was not in code from my perspective. I decided to hire Columbine Roofing and Exteriors and it really was the best decision I could have made. Rick walked me through the entire process, worked with me and the insurance company (in other words did not leave me out like a lot of other contractors want to do). He had top notch crews working on every area of damage on my home. When it was done, I had another new roof, complete with ridge vent instead of those ugly turtle vents, better shingles, new siding, stucco work, paint, and a lot of other damage. Also, the original flashing was silver but when the flashing and drip edges were replaced they were replaced with metal that was painted to match the house (imagine that). I am not lying when I say I have the best looking roof in the neighborhood as everyone else has silver flashing and turtle vents. This company is amazing. I highly recommend that anyone looking for an exterior contractor to contact them. Believe me, you will not be disappointed. The crews were very respectful, honest, hard working, and really did their best to make sure my home was restored to new condition. Work areas were cleaned up daily. Scott
