Josh was able to talk me through it and get it paired and working. I was thrilled ( I had been without TV for 2 days) Josh also saved me the cost of an in-home visit and I could enjoy my TV Right away.Josh was very nice and patient with my lack of knowledge.

We HIGHLY recommend Josh for your low voltage A/V and electronic needs! Here’s why: A few weeks ago, we mistakenly hired a discount technician to install a Logitech Circle View Doorbell for Apple HomeKit. They couldn’t get it to work (and left without charging us), so we called Josh to correct their ineptitude. Thank goodness we did! Josh got the doorbell working when we didn’t think it would ever happen. And he did it on a Saturday right before we were leaving town, all with a friendly and professional attitude.

I had been pounding my head against the wall trying to get my home music system to work. Couldn't get anything to work for longer than a few minutes. Flat irons AV fixed it in no time flat and everything is great. Highly recommend

I contacted Flatirons AV to mount a flatscreen TV over my fireplace. The wall is constructed of an odd material making finding the studs prohibitive. Josh responded to me right away, gave me a positive initial assessment based on some pictures, and got the job scheduled and completed in less than a week. Flatirons AV's communication was prompt and thorough, options were presented in a detailed manner, the price was reasonable, and the quality of work was excellent. I can’t say enough about this amazing company and jOSH the tech who helped me ! I live in Fort Collins Colorado he’s almost in Denver so I really never expected him to drive hear to help but what he did was awesome not only did he take time away from his family time ! He went on the phone face timed me and fixed my issue! It amazed me his knowledge of electronics he was absolutely fare on what he asked me to pay him ! We needed our phone/internet and Comcast coax put in a wall box on the side of the house, I called Josh, left a message, he called me back within the hour, I sent him a picture, he gave me a price. it went great I hit the jackpot when I found & hired Josh Engel to install a 5-camera Indoor/Outdoor Blink camera system. His knowledge and expertise in all things audio and video is astonishing. It went so well, that I enlisted him to also repair my tower speakers and set up my AV receiver so I can listen to music, as well as to have a nice sound system for watching movies, etc. He is efficient, amiable, and very adept at providing understandable instruction on how to operate all those things to someone with a learning disability. I managed to pull one to few wires when building my house for my home theater surround sound. So couldn't actually use any of the speakers, just the one from the TV. Josh quickly identified a solution to my problem, and now, by using the right connector box, everything works perfectly!

We are thrilled with the services Josh provided! We had an old TV from 2018 and a sound bar that had cords hanging out. Unsightly to say the least. Josh came to our, viewed our space and made perfect recommendations of what direction to go for a new TV (the correct size) and sound system. We upgraded to an OLED TV and Sonos speakers. Josh took care of the complete install. He was always on time, efficient, communication top notch, his estimate for his time and cost were also clear (no surprise costs) He cleaned up boxes and any drywall debris. We could have taken this project on ourselves but we made the decision to hire a true professional. Best decision. It was done in a timely manner and I am sure it would have taken us 10x as long. We appreciate that Josh took this project off our hands and made our space perfect. We are grateful!

Josh Engel was prompt and very knowledgeable and professional. He explained how everything worked as he set it up. Nice guy.

My Control4 remote was dead and contained a non-serviceable battery. Control4 indicated they couldn't do anything to help since the remote was out of warranty and my previous AV company wanted over $1000 for a new remote and a truck roll to come out and update the software on my system. Josh was able to diagnose the issue and found an alternative means by which to charge the batter to prove that it was a firmware issue on the remote. The hope is now that we can simply reflash the remote and get it to charge on the block.
