I had a number of electrical things that had been in need of fixing and I had been putting off, even running an extension cord in the garage to bypass a GFI outlet that kept tripping. Finally, I decided to replace a second story chandeleir and knew I had to call someone. I remembered that Mark had done extensive work for us in a remodel at another house years ago, so looked him up and called, leaving a message. He called back promptly, leaving a message and then followed up the next week when he didn't hear back from me. When I returned the call, he was able to schedule for the next morning. Mark arrived on schedule and took care of all the things on the list. He answered all my questions and tracked down the problems that caused breakers to keep flipping. The dimmer switch in the guest room was an add on that I thought of when he asked if there was anything else that I needed help with. I have done those myself in the past, but in 4 years hadn't gotten it done, so just had him complete it while he was here. Mark also replaced lightbulbs in another chandelier that I couldn't reach and yes, even dusted it per my request. The quality of work and service was excellent, as it had been in the past. Mark charges $80/hour (plus whatever products/materials are needed) and I know there may be some electricians who are cheaper, but I knew I could trust him to do a good job and to be honest with me about what needed to be done. The peace of mind is worth a fair wage. I am very happy with the results.
Description of Work: Installed chandelier, dimmer switch, new GFI outlet, changed outlets that were not functioning properly.
