Description of Work: Took black stain out of oak floor, screened and refinished entire floor

Description of Work: SUPERIOR in every way. We had a small, but difficult job. In refinishing our house, we removed the center kitchen island and needed to match the floor in the 'hole' with the rest of the floors. We not only needed to match new wood to old wood, but the area was also in the middle of the major traffic route on the first floor, an extremely visible area. It was a small area. but needed to be perfect. We also had a lot of finishing work near doors, transitions to tile floors, ad several thresholds. Pat exceeded our expectations. He is truly a craftsman and extremely focused on quality. His price was very reasonable and 1/2 the cost quoted by a well-known and respected floor refinishing company in the area. Pat even refinished the kitchen area after he had finished because it did not meet his standards. ( It was OK with us, although it was not perfect ). Outstanding, exceptional, highest quality, reliable, conscientious...are only a few words that come to mind in describing Pat's work. My highest recommendation.

Description of Work: Smith Hardwood installed a hardwood floor in my master closet. They were able to work me into the schedule on very short notice and completed the work in excellent fashion ahead of my having a closet system installed.
