most awful customer experience. Owner lady dropped a F-bomb at me. Can't prove the work was actually done, which I do not think the work was done. Very unreasonable company, no interest in making things right. I was a customer for 8 years and will tell you as a potential customer reading this review, it is better to go with another company.

Scheduled two weeks in advance so I took the day off from work. Didn't show until 5pm, and when I called three times the lady answering the phone could not give me a time when he could arrive. She really wasn't that concerned and kept using the excuse, they are busy. Then, they should make less appointments. Unbelievable in today's area of cell phones she couldn't give me a better time of arrival. When he did arrive was professional and got work done.

This was awful. The company marketed a low cost sprinkler turn off service. It was low cost because the owner is instructed to take preliminary steps of turning off the water and doing something else (I can't recall) with the valves so that they can just swing by and take care of the rest. I found it convenient because I didn't even have to be home. Well, they were booked and the date I got put on the schedule was a week or two out. Which was ok. The day arrived and I turned off the water. I did not know about the valve thing-- the instructions they sent over did not seem to apply to the system I had. Nevertheless, when I came home that day, I had a note on the door that they had been there and completed the job. That is where the trouble began. Contrary to the note left on the door, I had a phone message explaining that they couldn't finish the job, it was only partly done, and that I should call to schedule a follow up appointment. So I called and left a message. No return call. I called them a week or 2 later since no one had called me back, and was told angrily that someone had stopped by the previous Saturday and I wasn't home. Well, no one had called me to schedule that Saturday. And I had been home every business hour of that day, anyway! I was fuming by the time I got off the phone, and pulled all of my phone messages to see if their lawn tech had and quot;called from his cell phoneand quot; on that day to tell me he was there, as I was told he did. Of course, every call was accounted for, no sprinkler tech called, their office didn't call, and no one had been to my house. They completely lied to me. A different woman later left me a voice mail threatening to keep all of my money if I couldn't be there in order for them to do their job. Obviously this woman had no idea what the other one had said to me, or what I had said to her. I left a message for the owner to call me. He/she never did. I paid up front for this service (lower cost if you did that), and they did it not even do it half way. I WAS RIPPED OFF BY THIS COMPANY, and I will never recommend it to anyone.

It didn?t happen. They told me I?d receive an email telling me my window of time, but I didn?t. I received an email the night before reminding me of the service the next day. I called first thing this morning to find out my 4 hour window, and all I got from the woman who answered was, they?d be out sometime today. I ended up having to take the whole day off of work. I did receive another email at 8:11 a.m. asking me my address! Well that?s weird, when I set the appointment, I gave them my address. I finally called again at 3:00 p.m. and the woman was very rude stating that they were slow today because of the misty weather we were having. Really? She told me I could leave that the aerator would know what to do. I said no, I have 2-1/2 acres and he?d have no clue where I wanted the work done. Again, huffy ? do I want to reschedule? No ? I took off work to get this done ? I also wanted a quote on irrigation This is really sad, we used Bill Siegler when we lived in Highlands Ranch, sprinkler blow out and a hose bib repair ? things went fine 7 years ago. Sometimes when a company gets too big or grows too fast, customer service goes down the drain. Case in point. I cancelled the appointment ? there are others who will perform the same service, and install irrigation ? I just thought I would be a repeat customer, but I don?t need to put up with the rudeness of the folks who answer the phone.
Description of Work: Provider did nothing. Made my appointment on Monday 6/3/13 for someone to come a aerate my lawn.

Price seemed high. I found a much better price with a different provider. Communication was OK, but I wouldn't say that I got the feeling that they really wanted my business.

Description of Work: Wish I'd had Angie's list prior to hiring Bill Sigler's Lawn Service...I would have gone with another company with a better rating. Beware of this company! Not only is their work subpar, they are RUDE! Someone else mentioned in their review how rude Jody is and they are 100% correct. When we first hired them to come out for a "spring package" we almost upgraded to a more full service package based on how nice and informative they were. We are SO happy we decided against that! As soon as they had our money, everything went downhill. We were charged for a service they didn't perform. When we brought this to their attention, they said they'd come out and correct it. They never showed up. I sent an email to follow up...no reply. I called them again today and was told by Laura that she'd forwarded my email to Jody so she transferred my call to her. Jody was rude and condescending. She said the reason they didn't come back out on Sunday when they were schedule to was because it was it was supposed to rain later this week (it rained Wednesday...pretty sure 4 days between lawn service and a little rain is MORE than enough time). I asked why they didn't contact us to let us know and she said 'you're a re-do so we don't call you'. That makes no sense! You have a frustrated customer so you make it worse by having a policy to not contact them? I told Jody that based on the conversation we were having I no longer wanted to do business with her company and to take us off her 're-do' list. Stay away from Bill Sigler's Lawn Service.

We hired them to do a sprinkler blow-out, earlier that spring, they turned on our system and a leak was discovered shortly thereafter. They came here on a Sunday and fixed the leak without any further issues. We have been happy with their service and have hired them on multiple occasions for sprinkler maintenance along with the installation of a sensor that will turn off the sprinkler if the ground is too wet.

They don't give you any window of time when they'll be there. Jody, who seems to be the only operator they have, is terse and just plain unfriendly. Other companies can give you a window when they'll be there, why can't Siglers? This work was done in May and know I'm hearing a terrible noise when that valve goes on. I called them and told them about it. Jody said they'd come by and I didn't need to be there. That was yesteday. No note on what happened, if it's fixed, if they did anything. No call on the off chance they didn't even show up. I ended up calling them to find out what happened! I'm still waiting to hear since they didn't have the job report from yesterday. I wonder if I'll ever hear back. All in all, these folks don't care about your problems and if you talk to Jody you'll immediately see her lack of customer care or any initiative to ensure your satisfaction.
Description of Work: When I turned my sprinklers on in the spring, one of my valves stayed open. I have used Siglers for years to come and do my fall blowout so I thought I'd have them come and fix the valve. They found it was a bad selonoid and replaced it along with doing some pipe work as they said I had a leak and the junction.

They called to confirm a sprinkler blowout and they tried to explain to us how to turn off our water. They talked down to my wife when trying to explain this process even though they know we have been able to do this for a number of years since we have been using them for years. They continued to laugh and my wife and suggested she needed anger management classes. They are extremely unprofessional and we will not ever use them again.

This customer had called and scheduled sprinkler blow out a $42.50 value. Cold weather was forecast so I gave a curtesy call as we had done there lawn for a couple of seasons and was offering an earlier service date so that they could beat the freeze. I was simply ending our conversation by reminding Member that she would need to remember to shut off the sprinkler water and open the inside petcock no later than the night prior to our newly scheduled arrival date and she wnet off the hook mad. When I explained the instructions she thought that I was assuming she was stupid then husband called to cancel the service. I called him back and explained that I explain to all cutomers not because they are stupid but because customers often forget a step when preparting for a blow out and his wife went off on me. He then gets mad that I didn't offer to do the service the next day and appologize for making it sound like I thought they were stupid. This situation was really laughable. I was attempting to help a longtime customer and was quite nice and patient with them. What I found out was that Member was not stupid nor did I ever insinuate or say that she was, but most definitely bi-polar or had severe anger issues that need addressed by a professional. We have since removed them from our service list because there is definitely a risk when providing a service for them that we are no longer willing to subject our employees to.

I had specifically requested that no one come to my house without me being there. This required an advance notice of time of arrival (and I was willing to accept a window fo time). I spoke with (I believe it was) Jody and explained that I wanted to be informed of the time of arrival because I have two dogs at home. She first attempted to set a time on Thursday for Friday that I could not meet due to my business. She told me that they would have to come over the weekend. I said that I still needed the advance notice to make certain that I would be at home. On Sunday afternoon when I came home from work, I found that Sigler's crew had been at my home. I did not have the sprinkler system completely ready for them as I did not get any advanced warning of their arrival. Further, the left the gates unlocked!!! My dogs could have escaped. I called Sigler's number as soon as I arrived home to find that my wishes had been ignored. I specifically requested that I get a call back as soon as possible but no later than Monday morning. As I write this, it is Monday night and have heard nothing from this company. If you are looking for a company that has no interest in listening to your wishes and just wants your money - this is the place for you. My hope is that no worker ends up getting hurt because management does not pass on such simple instructions that are designed for safety as well as privacy!

The initial service last fall was fine when the owner, Bill Sigler, came out to blow out the sprinklers. However, when I turned on the system this spring following the directions they left there was a major leak. I called immediately and asked for them to come evaluate. From the beginning the owner tried to tell me it was my fault but would come out in a week. They would not give me a time and after numerous calls by me the day of the appointment, they failed to show at all and never called to explain. They did not apologize or promise to come out the next day. Incredibly poor manners and followup on the work they performed in the fall.
