+ -1 moreOur house was previously listed by another broker and the listing had been cancelled. A representative of Madlom Real Estate, Patricia, contacted me to get me to list with them. Patricia's job was to contact owners of expired or withdrawn (from the market) listings. I received a most impressive brochure in the mail and contacted the company to get further details. I subsequently talked to Nathan Madlom, who said he was in charge of the listing team. We spoke at great length and he said he would mail me a market analysis of our property in Evergreen. After a period of 7-10 days passed and I had not received anything or gotten a phone call, I called Patricia. She gave me Nathan's direct phone number and said she would also get a message to him to call me. I left an message on Nathan's voice mail, but never heard back from him or any other member of the firm. This contact was, of necessity, by mail and phone, becausen I am now living in Tucson, AZ and the property is in Evergreen, CO.

Description of Work: I hired Madlom Real Estate to sell my home, and they brought me a good contract in a matter of weeks. It fell through, through no fault of theirs and they worked like crazy to keep it together for me. They have a business model that is very different from every other company I considered. They are divided into teams of specialists who handle their area of expertise only. You won't find the loan person trying to do the staging. They also use many different techniques to attract buyers that I had never seen before, mining widely varied sources for prospects - govt websites, relocation depts, school sites, etc. Their techniques are very impressive and I know of no one else who does any of that. When I put my home back on the market again, I will definitely call them first.
