Description of Work: Since getting hardwood installed throughout my house is quite an investment, I have been doing my homework and getting a few estimates from local companies. One of these companies was Footprints since it got a pretty good rating on this website. I spent more than 2 hours with the owner while he explained how his company worked and also went over various cost. I took detailed notes as I knew I might forget some of the details. Before he left he wrote up a summery of the scope of work and cost.... I just assumed it had everything to do with what was just discussed for 2 hours, but when I read it , it did not make much sense and the final bid had nothing to do what we talked about . (an over 2 hr meeting was condensed into one long paragraph) . I spent additional time organizing the notes I had taken and presented it to him to see if we were on the same page....and ask him for some clarity on what he left me with. . It was very difficult to get in touch with him. When I finally did, he told me he was very busy but that we could arrange a phone conversation at a designated time on the weekend. . I made sure I was there to receive his call (even though a gorgeous day and would have rather been out with friends or family) I needed to get some clarity as I needed to move forward. He never called. I finally caught up with him. Arrogent. Bottom line: I am glad I found out before going forward that this guy (owner) didn't seem to have any respect for the time of others. I am a very busy person and he totally wasted my time. His behavior was arrogant and I got the feeling that he did not want to be pinned down on anything that was discussed.. There was a lot of talk to impress. He must not be used to customers actually scrutinizing cost.....But if you are one of those kind of customers, ....beware. My experience was that he says a lot to impress but follow through about cost and customer service was hot air.
