 + -1 moreIncredibly professional, so knowledgeable and friendly!!! So glad I called to have them help me adjust my sprinklers, the previous owners sprinkler set up didnt make sense and was wasting water. Kyle came out and made sure to check all my lines and made sure they were all working and the pointing and spraying the way they needed to, and explained to me and my boyfriend how they all worked and how to best fix the situation we had and was so easy to talk to and easy to work with. Definitely will have them out again!

 + -1 moreSmooth transaction from beginning to end. I was greeted on the phone by a friendly voice. She was so helpful in getting an appointment for the very next day, just in time before the winter storm! Kyle called before he arrived, just as promised. When he arrived at my house, he and his assistant immediately got to work blew out the system immediately. Because TLC as prompt and good work they will be returning in the spring to dewinterize in the spring. The bill was more than fair. What I like is this is a family run business and they care about their customers, they are responsive, and they are part of the community. Recommend them highly!

Description of Work: The young man was very prompt and efficient; he replaced and adjusted several sprinkler heads and raised a number of other ones. While he was friendly and informative (about watering time), fast, and did a pretty good job adjusting the heads, I felt he could have done a better job adjusting the heads for closer more precise water control. I had to replace two heads which were problematic (he fiddled with them awhile, and had them going when he left, but it didn't last more than a day). One other head which he replaced was seriously out of adjustment (although I had provided a very cheap head - it might not have maintained his original setting). | |Since I provided the parts, I can't comment on what that might have cost. I thought the labor rate was a little high, but the billable time was reasonable. (I didn't check with other companies). | |I eventually went on the internet to find out how to do it myself - all problems solved. I may call them to blow out the system in the fall, but will probably do future maintenance myself.

Description of Work: The technician was prompt and performed a thorough inspection of all of our sprinkler heads and lines. He reset our sprinkler zones that were set to run too long and found the broken sprinkler head that was causing our water bill to be so high. He explained his work to us and charged a very fair price. I would recommend this sprinkler service.

They came through and they moved other jobs out and re-scheduled everything to get us in time. They had about a weeks notice. They did some re-scheduling and came out and it rained the whole day but they worked through the rain and got it put in. They did an excellent job.

 + -1 moreWe returned to TLC for spring turn-on and repair of our sprinkler system. They had alerted us to several problems with the system that would need work this spring and warned us it might be expensive. We were prepared for a big bill if necessary - the condition of the lawn showed that the irrigation wasn't working properly. TLC found and repaired the problems for much less (MUCH less) than we had anticipated, and got the work done in one day. These guys *know* sprinklers. They're highly professional, thorough, and nice to deal with. Our lawn is already looking much better than it has in years because it's getting the water it needs. I can't recommend them highly enough and anticipate returning to them for further work in the future.

 + 0 moreWe are very happy with their work. We had sprinkler work done a couple of years ago by a different company and several issues that were supposed to have been corrected were not. TLC gave us a good rundown of what will be required to bring our system up to snuff and suggested we wait until spring to have the work done. In the meantime they winterized the system as requested. The initial estimate for the edging date was not met; but again I am impressed with the reason for the slippage. The initial estimate over the phone did not take into account the fact that our lot is a corner lot with a large amount of edge. The owner drove by to get an idea of the size of the job and then called us back to confirm that it would cost more than the original guess before starting the work. I'm very pleased by their professionalism and knowledge. We will definitely be calling them back in the spring to have our system repaired.
Description of Work: They edged our lawn - a large job because we're on a corner lot and it had not been done in some time. They also performed winterization services on our sprinkler system.

 + -1 moreLarry and his son Kyle came to my house after I had gotten home from work which was great; this way I could talk to the guy about this work and future work. Larry is personable and willing to work with you. He blew out the sprinklers, gave me tips for winterizing and said that he would place me on his list to contact in the spring. The company card lists the ability to a lot more than just sprinkler systems. I am looking forward to a long working relationship.
Description of Work: I went onto Angie's List to find a sprinkler company to blow out my system prior to winter. This company answered the phone rather than me having to leave a message and wait for a return call.

They said they would be out at my house by 3:00 pm on the same day I called them which was good because we were supposed to have a hard freeze that night. They arrived at my house right on time I found them to be very knowledgeable and professional they took the time to explain everything they were doing and went through the system twice to make sure it was clear of any water. I will use this company again.

Most of his business is just word of mouth but they're very professional, they will send invoice for everything. They don't really advertise. They've been in business for a long time. They may or may not be on time because they get so backed up with work that you may wait a couple of weeks for them. If there's an emergency, they'll come. They're fair and reasonable. They're responsive.
Description of Work: T L C Lawn and Sprinkler came out and did some weeding. They also do blow out of the sprinkler and then hook them back up every spring and fall. They installed sprinklers and they do any kind of maintenance for us.
