So many contractors never answer their phone and call you back a week later if you are lucky. Not Leonard! This guy answers his phone, or calls you back within a day if you leave a voice mail. He gets out to your site VERY quickly for a quote. Gives you a very fair quote. Schedules your project in a very reasonable time frame. Shows up to do the work when he said he would. And, best of all, does an absolutely beautiful job for you! We are extremely pleased with the experience we had hiring L and S Flooring and would hire him again!

Leonard has been exceptional to work with. This is the third project we have had him help us with. He is extremely knowledgeable, courteous, and helpful when performing his work. This job required him to remove an existing tile floor that had been properly installed over cement board, the tile surrounding a very large drop in whirlpool tub, and the existing shower with a cement base and tile surround. We were having difficulty choosing the tile so Leonard went with us to the store and helped us pick out the tile and decorator pieces. He has a very artistic eye for color coordination. His care in removing the baseboard and other wood molding allowed it to be reused which was important because it is not over the counter molding. The tub had been set in over the existing tile, but he was able to remove all of the old tile and get the new tile under the edge of the tub. He set in the new shower base and the tile work on the shower walls is superb. He installed a corner seat and in the center of the walls changed the angle of the tile with decorator tile bordering the top and bottom of the diagonal area. He takes extra care to make sure the grout lines match in the corners where the tile is on the diagonal. I hate to be repetitious, but his knowledge and experience saved us from a disaster in the kitchen. The tile and decorator tile we had picked out for the backsplash would have been too much movement over the movement in the granite. Again Leonard picked out just the right decorator and field tile to achieve just the right look. The backsplash now complements and enhances the granite counter top which is what we wanted. He even went above and beyond and installed the faucets, changed the electrical outlets and cover plates for us.

The project went very well! Leonard spent a lot of time with me designing the new tile layout in the kitchen. He didn't stop working on the design until we came up with the design that we were both happy with. Leonard was able to put a curve design between the kitchen flooring and the living room flooring, a couple of other contractors balked at the idea of doing that. The transition was very nice between the kitchen tile flooring and the hardwood flooring. He also did a lot of scribe wood work around my fireplace. Leonard paid a lot of attention to detail. Overall the project went very well and was done in a professional manner. I would definitely hire Leonard again. He knows his work very well!

Mr. Salazar, listened to my husband and I, and gave good suggestions. His work is excellent and he is really a very nice guy.

Leonard Salazar was recommended to us by our plumber to create a shower surround for us. Our initial plan was rather standard but, given some constraints on the space (a heat duct) we needed someone to pour a shower base, build a wall (we ended up choosing glass block), and tile the new shower. Leonard hadn't worked with glass block before, but the wall he built was just what we were looking for and he did a great job. He was very easy to work with and always prompt. We paid for materials and he did the labor. He clearly put a lot of time and thought into the project, which we very much appreciated. He was also very neat/clean which was helpful as we have a crawling baby. We also had him lay vinyl flooring - again, very well done. We will definitely use him again for any tiling or flooring projects.
