Johnson Cabinetry & Refacing

This was one of the best experiences I have had with getting work done at my house. From the ordering of the cabinets to the installers, Jon and Tony, everything was top rate. The communication was excellent! They were polite, efficient, cleaned up daily and were perfectionists. We will definately use them again and recommend them with the highest rating that's available.

A family-owned business, Johnson Cabinetry & Refacing is run by Carl Johnson; the salesperson is Dusty Johnson; and the lead installer is Scott Johnson. Dusty treated us respectfully and patiently. We wanted to reface the cabinets in our kitchen, utility room, and two bathrooms. Additionally, he helped us plan the understand how to reface the current cabinets and replace the soffits to add more shelves, I thought I'd have to replace the entire cabinet, but Dusty showed us how refacing could work. This meant we saved a lot of money by not needing entirely new cabinets. Finally, we wanted a style that was unusual. Dusty made some calls and returned with a sample cabinet door for us to review for over a week. We liked what we saw and ordered the cabinet refacing. Carl came to our house, answered additional questions and took careful measurements. It took around six weeks to manufacture the cabinet doors and drawers. Scott was a true professional, always arrived on time. Friendly but focused and efficient. It took Scott and his assistant, John, a little over a week to complete 90% of the job (remember it was four rooms). The last 10% was completed several weeks later, when additional parts came in. We changed our minds about drawer and cabinet handles. Plus, a couple doors were not quite right and Scott and Carl wanted them to be perfect. The final product was finished expertly from top to bottom. Our cabinets are beautiful. They brighten our room. We now have a place for everything! The cabinets are very durable and easy to clean. We now have soft-close cabinet doors and drawers. Plus, we were able to get drawer inserts for utensil and silverware. All-in-all, a great upgrade. Being patient turned out really well for us. I definitely recommend Carl Johnson's John Cabinetry & Refacing.

I canâ t say enough good things about Johnson Cabinetry & Refacing. This is by far the BEST contractor I have ever worked with. In a nutshell: I have extremely high standards and they exceeded ALL of my expectations!!! For those who want the long version: Carl Johnson (owner of Johnson Cabinetry & Refacing) and his crew are a phenomenal team. The whole process was smooth, fast, and easy. Let me reiterate EASY! Carl refaced my kitchen, which means all new doors and 1/4 inch real wood covering my old cabinet boxes. I had him change out a couple cabinets for better functionality as well. Looking at the final refacing product after it was all finished looks and feels like new cabinets--it turned out better than I ever could have hoped! Carl was involved from start to finish. He took notes and followed up on every detail. His work was meticulous and the transformation is amazing! Carl is detailed, professional, courteous, excellent communication, creative, and arrives on time. I was never given a "sales pitch" and never felt pressured. Carl and his team always seemed eager to accommodate my extra requests. My home was treated with the upmost care by Carl and his crew. Normally I get stressed with people in my home, but I found myself completely at ease. The end product on my cabinets was the absolute best possible outcome. They are GORGEOUS!!! Carl takes pride in his craft. It is easy to see he has found his calling. I am so glad I found Carl and his crew!

I am so sorry to have to give a negative review of Johnson Cabinetry, because I am a single woman who trusted that they would be fair to me. I checked reviews and was initially happy with Carls response time and help in explaining the refacing process. The main reason I chose Johnson Cabinetry is because I felt that they would be able to do the job - start to finish. And for the most part, they did. I paid nearly $9,000 for an average size kitchen and they did the refacing job as scheduled. I told Carl that I was having new quartz counter tops installed right after the cabinets were in. I appreciated that he told me they would come back and trim under the counter tops, where there is a gap of unfinished wood where the Formica had been. The new counters were installed mid-September, 2019. I have had numerous text conversations with Carl since then to try to get him to come back and do the trim to match my painted cabinets under the counter tops. The day he had scheduled to have it done in October, he called me and said he had lost the trim and would have to re-order. I said ok, please let me know when it arrives. That was the last time he responded to my texts. I would have liked to have it done before the holidays and I texted him many times asking if that was possible. No response. I then texted him in January and asked if I could get him to come that month. He has never responded to me since the call in October. I even asked him if he could order the trim and I would find someone else to install so that it would be a good match for my painted cabinets. No response. I am frustrated and disappointed in Carl for not following through with what he told me he would do. Im sorry I cannot give Johnson Cabinetry a positive review.

Recently did business with Carls staff for installing new kitchen cabinets. He ordered wrong style of cabinets, Mis-measured two cabinets causing delay of use. 1 cabinet was correctly fixed while other cabinet is a nightmare. Used overlay leaving gap between the woods so doesn t match rest of wood. Sent staff back more than once fixing exactly same. I ve been in contact with other cabinet companies whom confirmed very poor repair for a company in business over 20 years. I d think twice about this company

They are friendly and professional. They finished their work on time. They were great to work with.

I am very pleased with the outcome and the work.

Had a unique wine cabinet addition to existing cabinets in my residence. Johnson Cabinetry came down, estimated the work, took great care in assuring that the color of the stain and molding would match the existing cabinet. They showed up on time (a very, very big plus in my opinion) for their appointments, and scheduled the installation to be convenient with my schedule. Although they forgot the crown molding for the cabinet initially, they were able to reschedule to complete the work the following day. The work was very professional. (Many other contractors would only have done a complete kitchen remodel, and I was happy to find that Johnson Cabinet would do a relatively small job like mine).

This company was extremely professional from their samples of woods and stains to the protection of our floors and walls. Their work was excellent and we are picky people! We noticed everything they did extra and were very very happy with our cabinets.

Great company!! Not only did they do a beautiful job at refacing my old kitchen cabinets but they also made some custom cabinets to match & tie in with my newly configured kitchen. Carl & Daniel were very professional & friendly. All timelines were met & the price was great!!!

Great value! I got MANY quotes before I hired. Johnson Cabinetry was not the cheapest (they were close). However they used higher quality materials. The work was done quickly and looks great! They even gave my poor dog some water on a hot day when I forgot to fill her bowl. I work in construction (HVAC) so I can tell when a contractor is pretending. If you have Carl come over and give you a quote, you will be sold too.

They were very knowledgeable. Carl had some great ideas to help make my kitchen more functional. I was impressed by all the different color and hardware options. They were very polite and addressed all of my concerns. They used drop cloths for all of the work areas to help keep the rest of the house clean which we appreciated because we have a new baby in the house. They even came in at a fraction of the cost of other companies. My kitchen looks better than I ever thought it could. I would recommend these guys to anyone.
