Benitez Tree Service

I was told twice by the owner that he would come give me an estimate on pruning a tree. Both times he failed to show. This is so unprofessional. If you are too busy or not interested in a job, just say so. People like this give Greeley businesses a bad reputation.

Excellent. Very prompt and excellent job of trimming the trees and removed 2 diseased trees. Fantastic cleaning up of tree limbs and trash. Great people to work with. Wish every one in tree business was as great as Miguel is. He has all of my tree work now.

Job was everything I expected and more. My old trees look better than they have ever looked. The work was done in 1 day with a crew of 12. Three tree climbers, two bucket trucks, etc. Many of these trees were located on a busy county road. Workers were polite and safe. Property was left clean.

Excellent! Showed up when they said they would,completed job in a very efficient manor, Cleaned up after themselves, were very cordial. Price for job was appropriate. Would use them again in a heart a heartbeat!

Couldn't be happier with Benitez Tree Service. In the first place they called me back, which three other businesses did not do. They looked at the tree the next day, gave me an estimate, and set up an appointment. They showed up when scheduled and did an excellent, professional, job. They cleaned up absolutely everything, and the final price didn't differ from the estimate. They are my go-to tree service forever, and I will recommend them to everyone I know.

Went well overall. I had asked for a quote for this same work to be done a year ago, and the price then was 1400. I wasn't happy that the price had now increased to 1700, but I understand there must be fluctuations in the market that he has to account for. I apprecitated how determined they were to get the job done. Long story short, I've had at least 3 other companies show up at my house to do the job, only to run into a "little" problem and decide to come back later. And then either postpone or never come back. When Benitez showed up, they came prepared. They had plywood to lay down on the lawn behind my house to avoid damaging their grass (of course after asking my back neighbor permission). What was more impressive was the fact that their truck didn't fit in the fence to access that lawn, so they pulled out that neighbor's chainlink fence post to get in without questioning it. They of course put it back when they were done. From my perspective, it was a professional move to take care of their customer and deal with the repercussions later. My neighbor might view it a little differently... (haven't asked) It was a tough tree to cut down, as you can imagine from the price. They did an excellent job with the work. Some really tricky cuts that I thought were going to take out my deck were handled really well. The only damage I had came at the very end when they started cutting down the stump. When a chunk hit the ground, it rolled unexpectedly into my picket fence post. The post was cracked straight through about halfway up. They didn't handle the damage very well -I had the impression they wanted me to overlook it since it was relatively minor damage. In my mind it didn't warrant pulling the whole post out, so I "fixed" it myself by hammering the top half back on to the bottom with some wood glue. It's still more loose because of the damage surely done at the base, but I'm pretty sure it'll hold. I was just a little disappointed at their attitude about it. Would buy again. But thankfullly, I have no more trees that will need them for a very long time.

Performed work exactly as bid. Did good job of cleaning up afterword.

Removed one tree and trimmed two others.

Called and left msg to return call about poplar removal. Took a few days to return. Got estimate a few days after that. This call was made in the off season in January. Weather was a factor as to when it could be done. The crew arrived on time and started work at about 8:30. By 1 pm all three trees were cut down, chipped and the mess was cleaned up, even any mess out in the street. $550 for 3 tree removals with cleanup seemed more than reasonable to me.

Miguel was responsive in coming out right away to give an estimate for the job. Of the three estimates I received, Benitez Tree Service was the lowest. I was contacted the day before work was to be done to confirm the job and start time. The crew arrived on time and got right to work. They were professional and hard-working and had the tree cut up and off the yard and the stump ground out by mid-afternoon. When I asked for wood mulch for my landscaping, they emptied their truck for me in the alley. Great overall service. The only glitch we ran into was the weather. Later that afternoon it poured rain, which prevented the crew from picking up the larger stumps/branches that were piled in the street. But I was impressed that Miguel came by and asked if it was OK to wait and pick up the branches another day, rather than just leave them without saying anything to me. I saw no reason to make them work in the rain and two days later they were back to clean up.

They called back immediately. They are very professional and showed up exactly when they said they would. Work was outstanding and price very reasonable.

These guys were great and very friendly!! They were right on time at 7:30 am. Miguel came out the day before to verify our appointment. They worked so efficiently and took extra care when removing branches above the roof. I don't think one branch touched our roof. They were meticulous in their clean up by cleaning out the gutters that were underneath the branches,(full of pine needles and dirt). They also raked the grass where they dragged the branches. Removed the stump and smoothed out the area when finished. Miguel showed concern about how far to go in removing some roots because of a sprinkler system line. My wife then asked for their opinion about a couple of branches on a tree in our backyard. They cut the branches off along with another small dead tree I was going to take out myself. They DIDN'T even charge me extra for that service. Miguel also offered some suggestions what would look good in the bare spot. We will definitely use them again. Great people.

They were fabulous. They came in a very timely manner, right when they said they would. My son also used them. They used climbers. They took a huge limb out with 5 guys and it was like a ballet. They were very good. The price was extremely good. They were very polite and really nice.

They actually showed up early for the job and completed it in four hours total. Their chipper broke down, but they immediately brought in a large dump truck with huge jaws to pick up all the wood and debris. The clean up was fantastic and now I'm having them bid on another job at another rental property.

Miguel and his crew are extremely conscientious and hard working. They cleaned up every last chip.

Miguel came for an estimate the same day I called. Scheduled work for two weeks later (I was in no hurry). Arrived promptly, completed and supervised all the work done. Actually did more than what we had agreed to. Cleaned up completely before leaving. Would highly recommend him based on our experience.

Miguel was able to meet me for an estimate within two days. He was prompt and understood my needs and concerns. The job was scheduled for ten days later. He was prompt and had a large crew that worked well together. Miguel made sure the house and yard were clean afterword.

I was pleased with the service, they were very good. They are really good at cleaning up, you couldn't tell that they were here.

Don't waste your time. Like the last reviewer I found they wouldn't return my first call. Called again at night. Got a person who said they'd have someone come at 1:00 the next day. Waited all afternoon and placed several calls to the number. No one came. No one returned my calls. Called again twice more with no response.

SPECTACULAR. they were right on time. did more than they were asked to do. AND their price was the lowest bid. All in all, they under promised and over delivered. it's such a wonderful experience to deal with real professionals.

I have been using Benitez Tress Service for 3 years on 6 or 7 trimming jobs and 2 removals. They give a fair price, trim trees the way they are supposed to be trimmed, and clean up after themselves. Everything you want in a service provider. Highly recommended.
