Derek is not only personable, he is very knowledgeable, prompt, honest and neat (meaning he cleans up the job site). Comparing their prices against a company I have used previously, they are very reasonably & competitively priced. Yes, I will use his company again.

Our experience with this company has always been great, and this time was no exception. Our Trane unit was sold and installed by another company. We have never been completely happy with either the unit or the sales/install experience, so we have relied on A to Z for several years now to keep our AC running well, and they never disappoint! Service is prompt and professional, and pricing is beyond fair. TBH we wish we had gone to A to Z for the original install, but since that's not an option we have made the best of it by going with Derek and company for service calls, and we have never had a bad experience. Excellent, prompt customer service, fair pricing, and working AC...what's not to like? Best in the biz!

Derek was friendly, courteous and very professional. He explained what he was doing and why. He made suggestions on how to get the most out of our AC. He never pressured us to buy new system or sell us things we didn't need. I will definitely use them again and highly recommend A toZ for your AC or Heating needs.

furnace went out during the cold snap right at Thanksgiving. We called 2 other companys, that were only 15 miles from us , and neither one showed up or even bothered to call. we were without any heat. I got the number from Angies list and called Ato Z, and they came out immediatley. They had adrive of more than about 60 miles and were on time. They figureddout the problem, and had to drive back to get the parts and still showed up that day and got our furnace fixed. They did not charge for parts or repairs that we did not need, they were prompt , professional and didn't try to rip us off. We plan to use them again for any and all our furnace and air conditioning needs. Margie Colbeck

Basically it went fine except that I had to call them back to remove a screw that fell into my FAU exhaust blower.

We realized around 4:00 pm that the air flow coming out the vents was weak and not as cold and usual. We called A to Z Heating and cooling soon after we discovered the problem. We spoke to Derek. He told us he couldn't be there until after 7:00 PM. We told that would be fine. At approximately 7:30 he arrived. He checked the thermostat and shut down the AC. We then went to the backyard where the AC is located. It was dark out. He had small flash light. (Probably doesn?t work in the dark to much). :) I went and fetched another flash light. One of us could hold the light so he could use both hands. He first needed to turn off the main power to the AC. He attempted to open the cover on the electrical box. It was stuck, really stuck. My husband had painted the house two years ago and had painted the cover shut. (It?s really good paint.) Back to the house to get a box cutter, it worked and the power was turned off. Yeah! After testing various parts he located the culprit, a capacitor. He replaced it and the old AC was up and running. Hallelujah! The then drew him into to discussion of seer ratings. He told me my air conditioner even though 15 years old, had a seer (Seasonal energy efficiency ratio) of 13. Which was still being used and is quit efficient. So I didn't need to run out and get a new one. He was very nice and professional. P.S. I leave in Fort Collins not Greeley. So you don't have to live in Greeley to avail yourself of their services.

It turned out fine. It was good. I would consider them again.

It went well and they are very nice to work with. This is the first time the A/C units have been working properly since they were installed by another service provider eight years ago. Instant change in how cool the A/C blew and it was way more efficient. They were prompt and professional and easy to work with. He said up front I might find someone to do it cheaper but they take the time to do it right. The price was fair and they were totally worth it. I definatley would recommend them.

I used an Angie's List Big Deal coupon for this project. They told me there was a problem but I am not sure if there was or not; I have not had time to get somebody else to look at it. The person who came out seemed prompt and knowledgeable but I could not warrant the expense he wanted me to go to without at least getting another opinion.

Furnace failed to ignite on a cold late October morning. After being told by the first HVAC compnay I called that they could not service my furnace for four days, and that any servicing performed over the next four weeks would incur an additional after-hours charge, I called A to Z Heating and Cooling. Derek Quint (owner) arrived at my home that afternoon. He quickly identified the problem of a plugged flue condensate trap and drain lines, cleaned them out, checked out other service points on the unit, and had the furnace up and running in about two hours. During his initial visit, Derek noted that the combustion air blower unit was defective and needed to be replaced, and the reason the whole house humidifier was not working was a defective solenoid. He was able to save me about $100 by locating an equivalent after-market blower unit by doing some shopping around. He replaced both parts on a followup visit, and we now enjoy both warm and humidified air. During both visits, Derek was both punctual and very professional, keeping me posted on his expected arrival times. I appreciated his willingness to explain in some detail the operation of the furnace and to educate me regarding specific maintenance procedures for me to perform.

We met with A to Z on July 30, 2012. The Heater and AC was installed August 2 and 3, 2012. I felt they did an excellent job both inside and out.. They were carefull to put drop cloths on the floors and stairwell to keep the house clean while working on the inside and were carefull with the plants on the outside. They told us the install would talk 2 full days and the house would be about 90 degrees while they were working. I was a little concerned because I have my father who is 91 years old. They put the AC in first then the heater they were finished in 1 and 1/2 days the house was cooled down to 74 degrees in no time. We felt like they when above and beyond finishing everything so quickly.

Anthony arrived promptly and was absolutely professional. He explained every step of the work he was doing and what it meant, so I knew what he was doing and why. He advised further work on the six-year-old, lowest-bid system I inherited when I bought my house, but never pressured me into it. Again, he did explain why he thought the work should be done, but it was unquestionably my call whether to schedule the work or not. I will be using this company again and have no hesitation recommending them to others.
